Introduction :

There isn’t much of an introduction other than this is the guys version of my “Girls Talk” mod. This mod focuses on adding more interactions for the guys to talk about because let’s be honest… have you played with a male sim? It’s boring! Yawn! Nothing to talk about! Thanks to my husband for helping me create this mod and put his insight, answering the millions of questions i had about male friendships (i still don’t get it) and also my dad who very much approved (laughed) of the mod and said i got a “pretty solid list”

Mod Features

• 16 social interactions grouped by mood (Happy, Flirty, Sad & , Angry)

• Friend Types : Reward traits each come with 5 special trait interactions! A total of 25 interactions (The Leader, The Hustler, The Caretaker, The Crash Out & The Pushover)

• New relationship bit “Chosen Brother” + 1 Interaction with a Pop Up

• 300+ Buffs

• 10+ Sentiments

• 30+ Notifications

How it works?

First, you need to assign your sim their friend type and also your sims friends as well, here’s how to do that : You will click on your sim, go to actions, select annasiims mods and choose Guys Talk. You can only have ONE trait

It's pretty clear this mod is meant to be used within a friend group, make sure you assign your sims friend a friend type so the interactions can appear when you click on them. Your sims need to be friends, need to have acquaintances, friends, good friends or bff for these interactions to show up. If they have a romance bar, the interactions WON'T show up because they won't have the friendship relationship bits which are : acquaintances, friends, good friends or bff. I wish I could auto assign traits but I'm not on that level of modding yet! The interactions WON'T appear if they don't have a trait!

Friend Types :

There’s 5 friend types, each trait comes with 5 interactions and their own pie menu, they are NOT included in the Guys Talk menu. If you're not happy with the trait you get randomized, you can remove it! These friend type trait interactions are always available, their mood doesn’t matter. The buffs and notifications sometimes depend on the other sims trait.

The Leader : This one is self explanatory, there's ALWAYS a leader in the friend group whether they like to admit it or not, there's someone who always takes charge and they look up to

• Trust me bro

• Give advice nobody asked for

• Give a motivational speech

• Hold accountable

• Talk about loyalty

The Caretaker: This one is basically the loyal one, more open to their emotions, checks up on you, ask you how your family is doing, "I got you" type of friend

• You good?

• Make excuses for… (sim picker)

• *Give Money ( $50-100) *Sims need to be at least good friends to unlock this

• Ask how their family is doing

• I got you

The Crash Out: So this one is that friend who is... hmm.. yeah! a crash out. You never know what to expect with them. They suggest reckless ideas, possibly call you out, etc

• Suggest reckless idea

• Air out friends business

• You think you’re the leader

• Start beef over nothing

• Say something to clown them

The Pushover : okay so for me, this one is that friend in the friend group who is always agreeing with whatever The Leader says and does everything they say. The Boricua in me calls it a "mamon" (if you know, you know)

• Seek approval

• Agree enthusiastically

• My bad (apologize unnecessarily)

• I got it

• Take the blame

The Hustler : These sims genuinely care, these interactions also strengthen your friendship with a sim

• Compare lives

• Admit being better

• Brag about success

• Give tips on how to be successful

• Talk about your next big move

Mood Categories

Once your sim has their friend type, you'll have access to the main "Guys Talk" pie menu. BOTH SIMS NEED TO HAVE A FRIEND TYPE IN ORDER TO UNLOCK THESE INTERACTIONS. In this menu, you'll find mood based interactions that ONLY appear when your sim is in a certain mood (Happy, Flirty, Sad & Angry) Some of these interactions are autonomous, some are not. The buffs and notifications sometimes depend on the other sims trait. If you want to have access to all the interactions without the mood restriction, choose the version that says "No Mood Version". DO NOT DOWNLOAD BOTH

Happy :

• Talk about future goals

• Plan to go out : You'll get to pick, there's 7 choices! Your sims might say they're down, refusing to go at all or maybe they'll think about it

• Celebrate wins

• Talk about interests : You get to pick from 12 different topics/interests, your sim might like/dislike what your sim is talking about! (random)

Angry :

• Argue about bro code : Here you can pick a reason why your sim may argue about bro code. Basically, the "argue about bro code" will let you as the player choose why your sim is arguing with this other sim. I call this interaction a "storytelling purpose interaction" when you use this interaction (for storytelling purposes), the sim you're arguing with is at fault of whatever you're arguing about with them. The target will get buffs either them taking accountability or not, they might say fuck it! That's what I mean by a storytelling purpose interaction, hopefully you guys understand lol

• Vent about life lately

• Argue about what “real man” behavior is

• Threaten to start a podcast

Sad

• Talk about feeling behind in life

• Admit sometimes you feel alone

• Admit feeling pressure to “have it all together”

• Talk about career/money worries

Flirty

• Admit fear of commitment

• Confess your catching feelings

• Brag about talking to a sim

• Do you know this sim? : This interaction is literally to be messy, only sims who you have a romance bar with will show up. The target sim can let you know if they know them or not… (messy)

New Relationship Bit: Chosen Brothers

How Does It Work?

• You need to be bff's with the sim already! It's a requirement in order for the interaction to show up.

• An interaction called "You're my brother" will be available, you click on the interaction and both sims will gain the relationship Bit.

• You can only have ONE "Chosen Brother"

• This relationship bit will unlock a special interaction between your sim and their brother, this interaction is ALWAYS available to them and they will be in the Guys Talk pie menu :

  • Open Up About : This interaction is basically for your sim to talk about things they wouldn't talk anybody else but their "brother" . You get 10 choices!
