Introduction :

I wanted to create a mod that let my sims have more conversations than just "Ask about day" and "Gossip" you know? lol. This mod focuses on the conversations we have with friends, the good, the messy, the complicated, everything! Girls Talk allows your sims to vent, hype each other up, manifest things together, call out sims for being fake, give bad advice, and more! With this mod, your sims can have deeper "girls talk" interactions based on their moods and what type of friend they are from the most fake and toxic sim to the clingy, genuine, and loyal friend.

Mod Features

• 20 social interactions grouped by mood (Happy, Flirty, Sad & , Angry)

• 2 special interactions that only appear under certain scenarios

• Friend Types : Reward traits each come with 4 special trait interactions! A total of 20 interactions (Fake, Toxic, Genuine, Toxic, Clingy & Loyal)

• New relationship bit “Platonic Soulmate” that come with 4 special interactions

• 400+ Buffs

• 100+ Notifications

• 20+Sentiments

How it works?

First, you need to assign your sim their friend type and also your sims friends as well, here’s how to do that : You will click on your sim, go to actions, select annasiims mods and choose Girls Talk. You can only have ONE trait. Make sure to grab GenPie Menu if you don't, then you won't be able to assign your sims a trait

It's pretty clear this mod is meant to be used within a friend group, make sure you assign your sims friend a friend type so the interactions can appear when you click on them. Your sims need to be friends, need to have acquaintances, friends, good friends or bff for these interactions to show up. If they have a romance bar, the interactions WON'T show up because they won't have the friendship relationship bits which are : acquaintances, friends, good friends or bff. I wish I could auto assign traits but I'm not on that level of modding yet! The interactions WON'T appear if they don't have a trait!

Friend Types :

For me these were the meant to be the core of types of friendships there’s 5 of them and they can only have ONE trait. Each trait comes with 4 interactions and their own pie menu, they are NOT included in the Girls Talk menu. If you're not happy with the trait you get randomized, you can remove it.

Fake : These interactions are meant to sound “supportive” on the surface but leave the target sim feeling confused like hello? did they just threw shade!?

• Give bad advice

• Backhanded compliment

• Make shady comparison

• Say a sim was talking shit about them (lie)

Loyal : These interactions lean into more of a positive outcome, can strengthen friendships.

• Show appreciation

• Help financially ( $50-100) Sims need to be at least good friends to unlock this*

• Hype up their achievements

• Promise to keep secret

Toxic : These interactions are literally meant to cause MESS. Expect negative buffs and sentiments left and right literally!

• Downplay their accomplishments

• Twists their words

• Downplay their feelings

• Tell passive aggressive joke

Clingy : These sims are clingy, need reassurance OFTEN lol

• Ask if we're still close

• Guilt trip about having other friends

• Assume plans together

• Complain about being ignored

Genuine : These sims genuinely care, these interactions also strengthen your friendship with a sim

• Say they feel off

• Bring up a funny moment together

• Ask if they ate

• Ask how can you help

Mood Categories

Once your sim has their friend type, you'll have access to the main "Girls Talk" pie menu. BOTH SIMS NEED TO HAVE A FRIEND TYPE IN ORDER TO UNLOCK THESE INTERACTIONS. In this menu, you'll find mood based interactions that only appear when your sim is in a certain mood (Happy, Flirty, Sad & Angry) Some of these interactions like not autonomous like talk shit about sim, suspect a sim is fake, etc. The buffs and notifications sometimes depend on the other sims trait, sometimes your sim can tell if a sim is being fake/toxic, sometimes they can’t because where’s the fun in that? We can’t always tell who our true friends are. If you want to have access to all the interactions without the mood restriction, choose the version that says "No Mood Version". DO NOT DOWNLOAD BOTH

Happy :

• Hype each other up

• Share good news

• Manifest big things together

• Talk about recent life events

• Discuss Next Girls Trip: Here you’ll get to suggest a world for the next girls trip, responses are random, they can agree or tell you to rethink your world suggestion! It’s not set on stone lol this is mainly for storytelling purposes!

Angry :

• Rant about situationship

• Rant about what’s going on in your life

• Talk shit about sim: Here you’ll get to pick a sim to talk shit about, the responses vary on whether the sim your talking shit with knows this other sim or not and also their friend type. When your sim talks shit about a sim, they will get a new relationship bit "Talked Behind Their Back” when you click on the profile of the sim you talked about. ( WILL UNLOCK SPECIAL INTERACTION) If your sims are platonic soulmates, they won't get access to this interaction, they have a separate interaction just for them*

• Call out for being fake: Here you have multiple options as to why call out someone for being fake, this interaction is always available, sometimes you can even call out the wrong sim and there will be consequences, so be careful!!

• Suspect of a sim being fake: Here you can pick which sim you are feeling sus about, your sim friend can agree or disagree either way your sim will get a sentiment towards that sim they're suspicious about and feel tense around them. ( WILL UNLOCK SPECIAL INTERACTION)

Sad

• Trauma dump

• Admit you still miss your ex

• Talk about feeling burned out

• Confess not being okay today (*Life and Death EP required because of the animation i used, If you don't own this EP it's okay the interaction won't appear, you can use this mod without it)

• Confess feeling anxious

Flirty

• Talk about recent date

• Confess having a crush

• Talk about sneaky link

• Debate if it’s time for a hard launch

• Share your delulu fantasies

Interactions active after certain scenarios

These interactions only appear after your sim has used "talk shit about sim" and "suspect a sim is fake" interactions. They'll be available for 72 sim hours after your sim has done these interactions.

• Is everything good between us: This interaction is available after using "Suspect a sim is fake" interaction, after your sim has done the interaction they will gain a sentiment with that sim and get tense around them. The sim you picked that you think it's fake will unlock this interaction.

• Confess someone was talking shit about them : This interaction is available after using "Talk shit about sim" interaction, after your sim has done the interaction. This new interaction will be unlocked, let's say Sim A talked shit with Sim B about Sim C well then Sim B will now have the opportunity to tell Sim C someone was talking about them!

New Relationship Bit: Platonic Soulmates

How Does It Work?

• You need to be bffs with the sim already! It's a requirement in order for the interaction to show up.

• An interaction called "You're my person" will be available, if you watch greys anatomy then you understand the reference. You click on the interaction and both sims will become each other's platonic soulmates!

• You can only have ONE platonic soulmate.

• This relationship bit will unlock specials interactions between your sim and their platonic soulmate, these interactions are ALWAYS available to them and they will be in the Girls Talk pie menu :

  • Share a TMI Moment

  • Have a deep conversation about how you're feeling

  • Support rights and wrongs

  • Talk shit about others : This interaction is similar to the other "Talk shit about sim, the only difference is that these sims can talk shit freely ! They won't get the relationship bit "Talked Behind" or none of that!
