Practical Exercises to Improve Eyes and Eyebrows | Downloadable Template
Hello everyone! In this video, I want to talk about something I consider essential: how to improve the way we paint eyes and, especially, eyebrows on our figures. Many times we spend hours working on the skin to achieve a realistic finish, but when it comes time to paint the eyes and eyebrows, we’re so tired that we rush through them in just a few seconds. I make that mistake too, and that’s why I decided to do something about it.
Painting eyebrows and eyes is more like drawing than painting, which makes it particularly challenging for many of us. The biggest problem is that we rarely practice enough—we only get a few seconds to do it after hours of previous work. To change that, I commissioned some special templates that allow us to practice again and again without having to prep a full figure. Now we can really focus on improving those details without going through the whole process first.
In this video, I’ll show you how to use these templates, starting with pencil and then moving on to brush and color to practice eyebrows, makeup, and eyes. You’ll see different faces with various eye shapes, makeup styles, and eyebrow types, in both 1/4 and 1/6 scale. Also, you can download the template directly from this post. Thanks for the support, and stay tuned—another video is coming soon.

Thank you for this, such a simple and great support tool
I'm so happy about you adressing this topic. Only painting eyes once every 30-40 hours (each model) makes it hard to practice this step. Definitely gonna try this out :-)
Exactly! I think this is going to help a lot.
