Hello Patrons! I wanted to wait to make the update post until I had filmed my Speedway Junky video. And I DID!!! We're staring down a probably hour-ish long (7,000 word script) breakdown of the best bad movie no one's heard of, Speedway Junky. I'm guessing I'll have it done by early August at the la

Hi Patrons! Thanks for all the love on the Stranger Things video! It's done better than I expected, and it's truly been sooooooo awe-inspiring to see the fundraiser do well. I get the occasional "Lol triggered liberal" type comment, and they're all bouncing off of me because I know that the video ac

Okay guys, I swear, I'm ALMOST DONE editing the Stranger Things video. I have about four more minutes of runtime left to go (out of 77!) I can taste it!!! After that, I still have to do a final pass and revise, then make a thumbnail. I'll probably have a couple options, so I should be back soon to a

Hey besties, I'm slowly editing my Stranger Things video, but I might actually have something coming out before then. I recently saw Maggie Gyllenhaal's atrocious The Bride!, and today I sat down and recorded a few thoughts about it. I've just done my first editing pass, and it's about 15 minutes lo

Hey all! You'll be shocked to hear I'm still working on my promised Stranger Things video. Currently getting to the end of the writing process. It's shaping up to be a long one! It's not research-heavy, more of a classic stream-of-consciousness scripted ramble fest. I wish I was moving faster on thi

Happy new year, Patrons! I'm excited to update you on my current deep dive. I've been battling the flu for over a week now, and I've been using my immobility to do mainly one thing: binge rewatch all of Stranger Things in preparation for a potential video. In light of the recent failure that was the

Hey Patrons, Guess who's finally making a video.... I'm currently in the middle of two projects: I'm editing an anthology-style Patron's choice video based on your suggestions from my previous update post, and watching/writing for a seasonal video for the main channel. I wanted to do something that

Hi Patrons! It's high time for an update. I'm currently working on my video reviewing all the films I saw at the London Film Festival in October. I've got it all recorded and just have to edit now. I did do the reviews unscripted, but I'm a lot more satisfied with the quality of my reviews than I wa

Hi Patrons! My biggest news is that I recently shot my Secret Eaters video, so that's now officially on the way! I feel like I had a very healthy relationship with the writing of this vid. I would just work on it a little at a time whenever I had time, without being dangerously obsessed with the mat

Hi Patrons! I have several updates and anti-updates this month. Call me extremely fickle, but I have sadly lost interest in the Bring It On project. Maybe the Step Up video underperforming was demotivating, or maybe it's that I watched all the Bring It On movies and didn't feel that strongly about t

As promised, here's an off-the-cuff review of all the (notable) things I've watched in the last few months, plus some channel/video updates. Sorry for some weird mic bumps in the first several minutes! Hopefully it doesn't make it too hard to listen to. I swear I wasn't just hitting my mic directly,

Hi Patrons! Sorry for the lack of recent updates on my end. I've suddenly gotten very busy because I'm MOVING!!!!! I am a figurative basement dweller no more. Exciting, but it means I've had a lot on my plate lately in terms of planning/packing/shopping/lifting things, etc. My most immediate update

Sorry for the late update folks! I almost forgot I hadn't made one this month. It's still all Step Up video right now, and unfortunately it's looking like my goal of uploading by the end of May might have been unrealistic. But we are in the home stretch! I've edited about 42 minutes of the currently

I didn't know where else to share this earth-shattering revelation.

Hello Patrons :))) Believe it or not, I'm still working on the same video as last month! Step Up mania persists. As often happens to me, I got a little overwhelmed by the scope, and it took me a while to start writing. I was so focused on watching movies and otherwise researching that it was hard to

Hi Patrons! Happy spring and happy 9-1-1 season 8B to all who observe. This month I finally do have a big sprawling project I'm working on: It's still the early stages, but I'd like my next video to be about the STEP UP SERIES. I stole this graphic from The Wrap Yes, going on that rant about Step Up

Hello Patrons, I've had such a weird schedule lately I almost forgot to do a monthly update post! So here's a late one. I hope you've all been enjoying the final Dante's Cove video, as much as you can knowing how the show ends, that is. I've thought about editing all three videos into one supercut a

Funny story, I did record my Lifetime husbands video recently but then saw the Mark Wahlberg plane movie and had to drop everything to make a quick video about that instead. I'm not sure how this one will go over- it's unscripted and more minimally edited than most of my vids, but I do think there's

Hello Patrons, and happy insurrection-iversary to all who observe. It's a new year, and I'm trying to get serious about my video roster for 2025. I've been putting off Dante's Cove for a minute since I was busy with the Taylor Swift video, holidays, and job hunting, but I finally watched season 3 in

Happy [insert bespoke holiday here] everyone! Hello to all returning Patrons and welcome to any newcomers. I hope you're enjoying the Dante's Cove series as much as I am. Here's what I'm up to in regard to the main channel: I finally figured out what to do for a seasonal video: Taylor Swift/Travis K

Greetings alphas and betas. Just wanted to share some updates/thoughts since I know I've been a little quiet on that front lately. I just shot my second Dante's Cove video yesterday, which of course will be another Patreon exclusive. I thought season 2 was even funnier and crazier than season 1, so

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give some work-in-progress updates on my upcoming video, since it's a bit of a doozy. I have the whole thing filmed, so now it's just a matter of editing. Fortunately for you and unfortunately for me as an editor, after my first pass where I just put the best takes toget

Hey all, Just wanted to update you one more time on the status of my upcoming videos. Obviously my goal of releasing before the end of July proved to be a fool's errand-- the Wrong video is currently 82 minutes long and only getting longer. On top of that, my Patreon exclusive tie-in is over 30 minu

Hello again Patrons. Boy am I glad to be done watching Teen Wolf. I got some new signups from my last video, so thank you for that, and if you're new here, welcome! This is the part of the Patreon where I tell you what I'm up to for the next few weeks. My main focus this month is my Sterek video. I'

It's good news from the coyote den! I have the new Teen Wolf video shot, and I'm making good progress on the edit. Before adding clips it's about 1 hour 40 minutes... At least it's shorter than the first one! Plus there will be a Patreon exclusive section that's about 10 minutes. If all goes well it

Good news, Patrons. I have FINALLY FINISHED ALL SIX SEASONS OF TEEN WOLF. MY SUFFERING IS OVER. Yes, I still have to watch the Paramount+ movie. But I figure I'll write the rest of the video first and get that out of the way last. So for the next month or two (hopefully sooner rather than later) the

Greetings, Patrons. To any newcomers, welcome! I got quite a few new signups from my latest video, which is awesome. Apparently the audience for werewolf-related YouTube content really is vast, and for that I'll always be grateful. If you're new here, one thing I like to do on this nascent Patreon i

Hey Patrons! As promised, I thought I would give some channel updates/spoilers/etc. to keep you in the know. I guess this will be a little like a blog post. An exclusive blog post, which is obviously exponentially better than a regular blog post. My biggest priority right now is Teen Wolf part 2 (pa
