Lost in the Wasteland

I wanted to make something small from the world around the Knights of the Red Dusk that could work even if you know nothing about the faction yet.

So I wrote three torn journal pages from a hunter who got lost in the wasteland and slowly realized that something was following him.

The idea was simple: I wanted it to feel like something your players could actually find during a session. Not a lore dump, just a few pages that make the place feel dangerous before anyone explains why.

Over three days, the hunter loses his horse, runs out of water, finds signs that others died there before him, and finally sees riders in the distance.

Dark armor. Red cloaks.

Whether that means rescue or something worse is left unanswered.

These three pages are a small first glimpse of the Knights of the Red Dusk faction pack, which is coming soon.

All three journal pages are available for everyone to read and use as handouts in their own campaign.

I really like little pieces like this because they let the players discover the world instead of being told about it.
