After carefully reviewing each and EVERY SINGLE submission again and again, the winners have been chosen!
(So sorry for the HUGE delay in the review process folks 🙏)
It seriously wasn’t easy guys, like, saying that y’all did a great job would be a HUGE understatement.
The submissions absolutely blew my mind in so many ways, it feels almost bad JUST selecting a few winners.
But alas, without further ado, here are the WINNERS of the HOLIDAY CONTEST 2025 🎄 ❄️ 🏆 ✨
*9. @maidenofcoldsteel + @krisjandelport* This submission features absolutely wonderful character design, incredibly clean UV’s, a full turntable render and an excellent use of gradient texturing, all in one neat little package super deserving of spot #9!
*8. @big_dog_cat -* Not only did BigDogCat create a stunning 3D character, all whole only their mouse AND keeping the entire model under just 1013 triangles! 🤯
*7. @abigail8bits -* The presentation quality and creativity of combining Half-Life with Bridget’s Guilty gear COMPLETELY won me over on Abigail’s submission! 😤
*6. @motherlyra -* Not only is MotherLyra’s character design here super creative AND charming, but the texturing work here is stellar and looks like they were ripped right out of a PSX game!
*5. @neoawesomeon -* This submission really leaves a strong WOW impression with NeoAwesomeon’s character dramatic introduction, easily placing it at #5 🤩
*4. @oxadav - *An outstanding submission by Oxcadav, the texture resolution for the entire model is 600x600, giving it that signature “crunchy” feel, and showing how optimized it is along the model’s barely 1,008 triangles!
*3. senri_kitty -* Senri_Kitty’s original characters have so much personality in their design and posing, with both models together sitting at only 10,000 triangles total!
*2. carbon_3d -* I love Carbon’s submission, explicitly aiming for a Nintendo DS/Wii aesthetic that isn’t seen that much anymore in modern Low-Poly. Super original, adorable, and cozy!
*1. blulla -* Another contest regular, Micaela, aka Blulla, stole the show with her amazing take on My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade in under 10k triangles using a SINGLE texture, absolutely earning that #1 spot! 🤯🤯
