Wanted to share the thing I've been chewing on this week.

Designing a character is mostly remixing, referencing and blocking out shapes.

You collect designs you love into a moodboard, you borrow the pieces that actually work…

And you block your character out from simple shapes.

I keep coming back to this because 57% of you told me the same thing in my survey: "I want to make my own characters… but I can't draw."
