Levi's taking notes! Fireside part 2?! HELP MEEEEE.
So, even though I'm not posting this weekend, I am still hard at work!
Two packs come next weekend both brand new. OC and fanart. I am also working on two comics, Sword Maiden X Rias (Which is first!) and the next big OC origin comic, being Selena.
So I have read through Levi's origin several times. Well naturally, I made it lol. >.<
It did way better than I expected and I would like to keep that momentum! So rather than have you ask me things, I wanted to ask all of you something.
See, I pull from the RP. Which is sprawled across literal thousand of pages. I take the most key and interesting events and convert them for the comic. What I want to ask,is for those of you that liked Levi's origin comic, a few things. And I apologize if this seems like homework, but it would really help me out if I know the answer to these questions! It helps me decide WHAT to pull from the roleplay.
1. What is your favorite scene from the Levi origin comic? I am purposely keeping this a broad, vague question so you can interpret as you like!
2. Did you enjoy me expanding onto the non NSFW crew. (the NSFW crew being the 6 now 8 that appear in NSFW packs here and I focus my regular posts on aside from fanart). Basically did seeing the canon Rave crew outside of who is a regular distract or did you enjoy their inclusion for the narrative?
3.How did you feel about the length of the comic? Wish it had been shorter? Longer?!
4.Are you ok with the artstyle? Because it is SO LONG and NSFW is not a focus of it, I use a modified (quicker to edit) artstyle that lets me work more quickly so it doesn't take half a year to make an origin comic.
5. Anything you feel could benefit me here I would appreciate!
Please do not ask make any non oc-origin comic related requests here in THIS particular post! If you would like to do that, the fireside for October is still available and you can post freely there! I would like to keep THIS post in particular to discussion for Levi's comic ' And this is my name' please and thank you!

1.My absolute favorite was after Siren became Levi and reunited with her friends and They accepted her immediatly and the name "Levi" came from the Leviathans and lot of things made sense after I read the comic. 2. Yeah everyone was pretty interesting hope we can see more of them. 3. You scared me first not gonna lie .I am not a comic fan at all and I saw that page count but after the 10th page i totally forgot this feeling and read till the end and blow my mind. So I dont mind the length it can be longer. 4. Loved the art style very much. 5. Keep up the good work and take care yourself especially with the spicy stuff and thanks for your hard work .
1.) Favorite part about the comic is how much depth and history there is tied to all of it. I'm gonna number 3 in here because I think the length of the story needed to be that long in terms to explain everything thoroughly. Never do I think there is a dull moment in the pace of it either because either a new character gets introduced and the story behind them and who they are is just as encapturing as the last and then the next plot thread seamlessly goes into the next. I don't think I have a particular favorite moment each time I read it because even though I know what comes next, it's the build up and context of how each panel paces to get to each moment. 2.) very much so. being able to tell the stories 1 to 1 without needing things to be always spicy. does things like that probably happen? I'm sure it does but if it doesn't add to the full context and is just there for flavor country excuse to go to pound town. And knowing that happens with Tobi and Trinity was a moment but he knew in that moment that it wasn't right taking advantage of her vulnerability gives the story heart and proves it doesn't always need the NSFW angle. 4.) absolutely love the art style. each environment and location got its moment to be the setting and reason why everyone was here. Completely understand that you have your way and reasons on doing the style that you done, and I never saw at any point that the style of environments betrayed the rest of the art, so if it works and saves you time, do what you feels best for your work and your sanity. 5.) I've said this maybe a good handful of times and I'll continue to say it: you had the opportunity to tell the story YOU always wanted to tell and I don't think many people get a chance at that. Sure to alot of others, you're gonna be the yuri horny girl that also creates stories of why they're together, (which are just as great), but hearing from you how successful your origin comic did shows not how well of an artist you are, but a storyteller too. Even if the story is already laid out for you, you were able to pick those pieces and create your story and be able to tell it in your creative way, and that is what sets you apart from any other creator and I will keep saying that I'm damn proud of you for that and want to watch you grow in every single project that you put out!
1. gonna go against the norm, and say that I loved the battle scene, this is something "new" that hasn't been seen in any of your comics as of yet. we've seen romance, we've seen dialogues, we've even seen plots and humor. but showing an actual battle set piece is amazing! =D 2. yep! 100% loved the inclusion of the SFW crew, seeing Miho, Tobi, Shaz, Alexander showcase their stuff was a treat! 3. length for an origin was a good enough length, emphasis on the "Origin" part. if your next OC comic will be a continuation, and not another origin story, then I would love to see it be longer. 4. the art style works! I see the massive detail in each NSFW style (especially the comics as it's skin you're trying to make look realistic and "jiggly" ) if it saves you time with this modified style then it works for sure!
1. I would say the scene where they all realize Siren's power to sense malice was so much more and had a catch. Everyone's realization, even Siren's, showed a heavy reality to the characters and the expressions were more in-depth. Also it brought character development with the scene. 2. They say more is less, but I feel we got more. It expanding, and knowing the story was fun and a welcome treat. So if you were to do it again with other characters maybe do it after the comic they are shown in. Like opening the world to view. 3. I found it was a perfect length and I'm not the fastest reader. I also enjoy the art work and looking at the details so that might be why in this case lol. 4. Personally the art style was fine. I couldn't imagine the length of time it would take to make it the same art style and quality of your normal work. Be probably more than half a year lol. 5. Since I know nothing special, if at all, about art I don't think I'm any help there. But maybe don't doubt yourself. I can only imagine sometimes people get in their own head and you have second quessed yourself before the first OC comic came out. Just stay positive and believe in yourself and the characters. (Cheesey, I know)
1. Origin stories are great because it helps you build a rapport with the main character. My favorite scene was how she attempts to make connections with others. That’s what a story is “connecting”. 2. Expanded the crew was surprising, understandable, and interesting, but it will take time to connect with them when compared to the original 6. Not that they are “outsiders” but as you expand the universe, it will feel more fluid. The NSFW is a different kind of connection that helps to solidify their relationships. 3. No lie, it was long, and I did enjoy it, and read and re-read it. But I found myself torn by wanting to provide genuine feedback and getting side tracked with the many aspects of the novel. If you want more feedback? Break the story into short segments and draw the story out. If you just want to post a masterpiece, post a graphic novel. Like chapters of a book, they help to keep the reader engaged while shifting focus. 4. Very much Loved the art style. For comics, the quality can be adjusted down due to the volume of art needed. , Compared to your graphic illustrations, which tend to be much higher quality since you don’t need to make the same volume of artwork. 5. I’ve been on the down low on my engagement lately do to my own volume of responsibility’s recently, but the your work continues to grow, expand, and evolve beyond what I think even you imagined. The only thing I can add to benefit you is to continue to “trust in yourself” and your admirers will follow you regardless. This is your world, work, and effort, and we “thank you” for letting our voices be apart of your creation. Just keep doing “you.” ;)
1. Favorite part of the comic was the history of Levi, her origin, her becoming as she did what she thought she was meant to but otherwise never considered her own feelings until she realized she wanted an identity of her own and her emerging into such a vibrant uncensored and amazing person. 2. I loved the expansion into non NSFW and the inclusion of the Rave crew and learning about them and then getting to see their personalities and how they interact together. It gave more depth having characters you come to understand and makes it more fun when their personalities branch out and things that make them uncomfortable becomes so apparent and funny as they experience things outside their comfort zone and grow together. 3. Definitely would enjoy it being longer even if it meant waiting for different sections to be released in a series. I was so enjoyably lost in the comic I never wanted it to end. 4. I enjoyed the art style and do love the fact that it made it easier for you to release the comic. 5. Keep up the great work and I patiently await your work and whichever order you want to focus on things. Thank you for including us in your development. Love love love the music video and any chance to hear ya sing or create tracks. Keep us informed on any way we can show our support across any platform and we’ll be there. I think a list and links of where we can subscribe, comment, favorite across all your social media and musical platforms would be helpful so we dont miss a beat would definitely help us keep up, your busy with so much I know that we would hate to miss any opportunity to support your efforts.
1. Siren having the faith of all her friends behind her to push past her limits. 2. I enjoyed seeing more of the RP crew. 3. The length was perfect for me. The action scenes were placed perfectly to coincide with the story to keep the pace steady. 4. No problem with the artstyle. 5. Include what you think needs to be included to tell the story you want to tell. Whether that makes it longer or shorter.
1. Nothing in particular stands out at this late date 2. Yes, I enjoy non sex stuff too. 3. The length should always be how long it takes to tell just that story, so its gonna varry. 4. I'm always going to advocate for you teaching the computer to do as much of what you do as you can, so you can focus on the story and adding the finishing touches. As for the style in this one, was good! 5. See previous. Also, please remember you're kinda awesome.
1. Favourite scene was the transformation from Siren to Levi, it was really heartfelt. I also really enjoyed Lilith's story. 2. I enjoyed all the characters and want to see more of them, even the doods. 3. It was a bit long but since there wasn't a lot of text most pages it wasn't a hurdle. I don't think there was anything that should have been cut. 4. I loved the artstyle. It was clean and beautiful, the girls looked great. If it's quicker to do that way, all the better. No issue. 5. I think you shouldn't worry about length, tell the story you want to tell fully. The art works, so no worries there. The world-building is phenomenal, but in the end it's all about the characters and you know how to land the emotional beats. In short, just trust your instincts.
1. Favorite thing of the comic was siren becoming levi and the chemistry of the gang all together i really liked they chemistry 2. I really liked trinity's design cause i was happy af to see her added to the usual rotation. 3. Def want them to be longer, i could read these stories for hours tbh. 4. You know me im way more into these stories for the lore then the NSFW stuff so if spicy stuff takes more of a back seat, thats fine with me.
