Bonus content! Music video 2: Solo Una Chica Mas (Just another girl!)
So, the Levi comic was supposed to have two songs done in time for it. (LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT LOL)
This was one of them! This one is simple, and made with virtual instruments ( I still sang it like normal though! ) and didn't go through the full mix/master process. But, within the context of what it is, I'm ok with that.
It's a simple song about Levi's feelings after her transformation. This isn't the song, that one I'm still waiting on. And was properly played and mixed and mastered, full beat. This actually started as a cover of "Bailaremos" by Belle Perez, which was a song I loved as a little girl. But I figured that I could repurpose the instrumentals and write my own lyrics!
It's just supposed to be fun and light. :) With a fun animation that goes along with it. Not too much more to say.
So, for my Spanish speakers, this is for you! (And if you don't speak Spanish, you are still cordially invited to enjoy it, sing, and dance! :D )
I will be around! And here are the lyrics in both Spanish and English.
SOLO UNA CHICA MÁS
He vivido más que el sol
Vi mil mundos en su adiós
Dicen que soy luz
Un mito sagrado
Pero bajo este fulgor
Late un simple corazón
Mírame y verás quién soy:
Solo una chica más
Bajé del cielo hasta tu ciudad
Tras cascadas de colores
Ya no quiero ser tu religión
Ven y baila entre las nubes
Sin coronas y sin resplandor
Volaré si tú me miras, ooh yeah
Que retumben los tambores
Al compás de tu corazón
Que el mío late igual, sin condición
Soy leyenda en tu ciudad
Cuento viejo sobre el mar
Pero al anochecer
Me escapo a la pista
No me pongan un altar
Déjenme reír, soñar
Mírame y verás quién soy:
Solo una chica más
Bajé del cielo hasta tu ciudad
Tras cascadas de colores
Ya no quiero ser tu religión
Ven y baila entre las nubes,
Mírame, ya voy bajando
Que retumben los tambores,
Esta noche estoy bailando
Ven y baila entre las nubes,
Dime "chica" y nada más
Si te acercas, te prometo:
Soy real, ven junto a mí
Ven y baila entre las nubes
Sin coronas y sin resplandor
Volaré si tú me miras, ooh yeah
Que retumben los tambores
Al compás de tu corazón
Que el mío late igual, sin condición

ENGLISH TRANSLATION — 'JUST ANOTHER GIRL'
I've lived longer than the sun
Watched a thousand worlds say goodbye
They say I'm light
A sacred myth
But beneath this radiance
A simple heart beats
Look at me and you'll see who I am:
Just another girl
I came down from the heavens to your city
Through cascades of color
I no longer want to be your religion
Come and dance among the clouds
Without crowns, without the glow
I'll fly if you look at me, ooh yeah
Let the drums resound
To the rhythm of your heart
Because mine beats just the same, unconditionally
I'm a legend in your city
An old tale about the sea
But when night falls
I slip away to the dance floor
Don't build me an altar
Let me laugh, let me dream
Look at me and you'll see who I am:
Just another girl
I came down from the heavens to your city
Through cascades of color
I no longer want to be your religion
Come and dance among the clouds,
Look at me, I'm coming down
Let the drums resound,
Tonight I'm dancing
Come and dance among the clouds,
Call me "girl" and nothing more
If you come closer, I promise:
I'm real, come stand beside me
Come and dance among the clouds
Without crowns, without the glow
I'll fly if you look at me, ooh yeah
Let the drums resound
To the rhythm of your heart
Because mine beats just the same, unconditionally

Wow so cute and adorable the dancing and the vibe reminds me old cartoons but the music is much more to my liking. In short its simple but it brought light into my heart.
AMAZING!!! The animation is absolutely perfect! All the dance moves with the girls are perfectly synchronized! Like I said before, Levi, you keep raising the bar... you're making things harder for yourself! :) Congrats on the awesome work you've been doing!
Love the video and dance! Song sounds great, Spanish sounds so beautiful in music.
That was a wonderful song, best part for me is that I'm still learning Spanish but it was clear and slow enough I could pick up most of the words to understand the lyrics. (Used the English to fill it in once it was over and relistened to it again.) Also, hearing you sing in Spanish is a wonderful treat, it's beautiful and hypnotic. While giving us your voice in a new light to appreciate and love. Keep up the amazing work and happy we final got to hear it! Also love to see you and Amina not sending each other into next year lol.
I still remember the utter shock on my face when you sent me your first sample of this song when you were testing your new mic quite some time ago, before you customized the lyrics... :D It was... march? april? Fk how time flies. Now. This version is definitely much more "Levi", and the animation is really cool and genuinely funny. Having the chance of listening your spanish is always a plus too :p Congrats. 👍 Still, please allow me to rate your original version slightly above this one. It was less polished, more "raw". Yet, precisely due to this, the "feel" is much more... personal and forthright so to speak. But I can totally understand why you adjusted the tone of the song. Cannot wait to hear more from spanish Levi!!! 😁
Haha! Illusion beat me to what I was thinking! But I agree fully! From the direction of the movement, to the ruffle of clothing and even to the realistic puddle splashes, it’s amazing to see how much you’ve accomplished. And despite this being only a music video where there’s only movement along with some cameo appearance from the OC8, this narrowly beats out NYSMNYD. Just on pure animation. Really enjoyed this Levi! Love to see you’re creating things you love doing and sharing with us :)
song is really good also seeing all the oc girls pull up was a lil funny (I was gonna crash out till I saw amina at the end)
Despite this being the most "simplest" in maybe in terms of the song, the animation at work here is nothing but exquisite display at work on here. Each animation that you put out, the motion rig that you have is just stunning to watch capture you and the girls. The different walks that Levi has and the bursts of dance perfectly encapsulate just who she is. Just like in 'Now You See Me, Now You Don't' Levi doesn't have to do the Tiktok 5 second hip-sway attention grabbing dances, when Levi can just impromptu happy, campy dance and jump, living in her own world. Speaks much louder and volumes better seeing the mannerisms I can't get enough of. I'm also gonna be a nerd and also say this, but even the splashes of the puddles have the exact amount of animation attention as the rest of the video. This was just exquisite and now I have another song that is gonna be on repeat for a good moment. This is tremendous work and just absolutely fantastic!
You're always a ray of sunshine haha. it's silly but one of the rules for Levi is she isn't allowed to dance sexy. In universe, sure, she's beautiful. But she's also a dork and while incredibly fast, she has no sense of rhythm or how to dance. So I spend a lot of time making sure nothing she never does anything 'gracefully' sexy or even really on purpose. (Sex animation not withstanding.) And I am really glad it goes notice. <3
Thanks for the translation!
Glad it’s finally released! Really enjoyed it. Also every character dancing what? Merengue? Salsa? Bachata? Idk, It’s funny. It’s interesting how voices change when speaking different languages. Love yours in Spanish
They're just having fun without much thought about what they're doing. :)
You ever drop this on Spotify, ima add to my playlist and listen to it a bunch of times. Made me smile listening to it and watching it.
This just made my night!!!!
It's sexy, cute and fun. The animation is top notch and I absolutely loved the girls dancing. The lyrics suit Levi very well and they work great in Spanish. Well done! ❤️
