What Do You Want to See in the Raging Blast 2 PC Port?
I want to hear from you guys.
What features, improvements, or additions would you like to see in the PC Port in the future?
It can be anything — graphics, settings, modding features, UI improvements, quality-of-life stuff, new PC-specific features, etc.
I'm curious to see what everyone wants and maybe get some ideas I haven't thought about yet.
Just take it easy hehe
I'm one guy working on this, so don't ask me to remake the entire game in Unreal Engine 5 by next week 😅

Is it okay if you can add the liberty to import soundtracks osts?
Is it possible to add new slots for maps (to create custom maps) ? It's the only thing I think this game lack of in term of content
Hey there! It would be amazing to have new story mode maps that play like *Raging Blast 1*—that would be incredible. Using the cinematic system, along with the combat intro and victory event sequences and custom animations, it could actually be done—theoretically even on the emulator version—provided you know how to modify the cinematic animations. Of course, that usually involves replacing existing content rather than adding entirely new assets like you’ve done. Great work, my friend—you have my full support!
Online function. If possible in future a BT3 Port with online (it's even possible to play vs others without split screen so that could help)
if you can add more character slots and costume slots for characters that way the game can feel more easy
I am so grateful for the PC Port! One thing I wanna say is that the sound effects seems a bit delayed, in the menu, selecting characters, etc. I hope it could be fixed :)
Probably because of the 30 Fps, but needs improvements on this, thanks alot
idk if its possible but in future a way to port story mode of raging blast 1 or just the shader, i know its complicated but it just a brainstorm of ideas
The shader is already a thing, just a port of the ilumination would be something else, also the Story mode, well, lets see how it goes
Is it possible to increase character size limit in order to support models from newer DB games (e.g. Sparking Zero)?
Thats my goal, ive made a research about it, so when i start to work on this i already have a base for this
please could you find a way for you to make it to be able able to play on low end pcs
I say go crazy, add all of the GT characters ( this will obviously take time ), add lines from other games to accommodate for that. I haven't played the PC port, however I hope all of the items are available with no limitations like a mode that just allows every power item, even the ones on from Z Battle ( I think is what it was called )
Well, i did some GT characters already but they are for replacing
Is there anyway to make this work with online or is that just not possible? More so just curious on than I am requesting it
Maybe in the future, but since the project is still in its very early stages, that isn't the focus right now.
Hi, I would like see a better experience playing ( I mean the Gameplay) for instance as BT3 and the possibility to add more combos or even have custom combos per character, on the other hand could be interesting be able to play online (anyway we could use some apps like parsec)
Well, the game already has a core set of unique combos, but they mostly apply to a specific group of characters—things like cancels, follow-ups, and so on. What could be explored is the creation of new mechanics.
And also I have a method to rip the PS3 movie files and convert them to WMV if you are using the 360 version as the base for this PC port if you're using the PS3 version then I'm going to convert them to MPEG-2 (.m2v) the video format that the PS3 version used. Unless you plan on rewriting the engines video codec and making it use MP4.
Dont worry, thank you
And yes I do think the UI and the buttons options could use a bit of improvement but whatever you do please don't overwork yourself. Do things at your own pace.
My biggest concern is how it's going to run on lower end Hardware. This is a game from 2010 it is getting closer to 20 years. I don't see why this should have a problem on lower end Hardware. but then again it depends on how the port is made either way. I have faith that this project will turn out good and nothing good comes easy. And I know a way to bring back the original music from the Kenji Yamamoto version it's actually very easy to do and I'm guessing the music files are going to be unpacked adx files considering you said that AFS is no longer needed which means the games files are raw. But I'm going to guess that we're going to have to provide our own files which is perfectly okay. 👍🙏 Can't wait to see how this goes. (Not literally cannot wait but you get what I meant).
More female Characters, Kefla, Vados, Oceanous, and from those in Super dragonball heroes there is Xeno Pan, Towa, Kai of time Chronoa, Kai of time Aeos, 21. Note and more.
add animations from the mobile game Dragonball Legends and if you can Gekishin squadra. Sparking Zero mods already have DB Legends animations, would be cool if this RB2 PC version had Legends content too, that and just add more Super Dragonball Heroes Female Characters, this game has alot of male fighters, but Heroes added some strong females to Dragonball.
Thats mods request 😅 but would be cool, i agree with everything
To start with the new slots, add characters little by little. Other than that, you could see if you can add stages like Kami's sama stage. that should be enough to start with. In the future, you could see if it's possible to include new slots in the custom modes.
Kami's Watchtower is in the game already 🤔
Can you make cpu difficulty more difficult & make cpu transform more often
i want to work on this for sure
Modded character Future Doom...? Like for tribute to dbx2....?
Interesting...
The PC version is amazing, man. I was wondering if it would be possible to create mods for the Xbox 360 version—for both the PC version and the console ?
The Xbox version is a real pain to work with; I’ve never even touched it, and all my mods are for the PS3 version.
A low quality option so I can get really fast gameplay and quick loads. And a high one for when i feel like a big fight
Can you put extreme blast into this pc port ?
If the owner of this project decide to move to PC, i think it would be great, but i think he would want it to be stable and in a good form first
For me personally, the mods with new slots, moves, and animations would be the most important. It has always been my dream to be able to properly mod. And thank you for your efforts to bring back Raging Blast 2.🔥💪🏼
