GUI cleanup
As I mentioned in the previous post, I am currently in the progress of rewriting the graphical usage interface for Genesis 4. The goal is not to change the design, but to clean up the way the elements are used. Also, I started working on the new Shadowrun 5 interface (while already starting the english language version - hence the german/english mixture in the screenshot).
Although similar to the way Genesis 4.0 looks, the screenshot shows a change: buttons on the upper right corner of each element that supports adding or deleting content. The "+" button will open a selection dialog, the "Trash"-Button will only be enabled when a deletable content is selected (and will of course delete it).
Genesis 4.0 either did not allow to add/remove content on the main character sheet (you had to open a special screen for it) or had the necessary selection components embedded in the section. The new concept will hopefully be more intuitive.
Unfortunately this requires a lot of work - mostly because I need to dismantle existing components and build new ones. This is not far from writing a new graphical usage interface. So far I have 33% of the Shadowrun 5 UI, 33% of the Splittermond UI and did not start on Space 1889 and Coriolis - I will need at least the April to complete this task. But I will post some more screenshots on the way.
