Despicable Me Watch-Along

Great react, if you’re in the mood for a scary movie for the month I recommend “The Cycle”

You should check out the YouTube clip of Steve Carell dressed as Gru on the Ellen show.

I love this first movie, but my opinion drops quite a bit in subsequent movies in the series. This one had just the right amount of Minions, but subsequent installments really lean into it (plus there are the "Oops! All Minions!" movies.) IIRC, this was made at the height of the glut of 3D movies in the late 00's, early 10's. Hence the weirdness at the end with the Minions, them reaching out, and the one with the tape measure. Also why the POV rollercoaster segment was longer than you'd normally have in a movie.

gg not spit-taking the coffee at rasta gru XD ya the minion memes have nothing to do with the minions, other than perhaps "part of the human experience" I rewarded myself on cleaning breaks with making a list for you / y'all. Great movie!!! Part2 is even better!

One of my favorite animated flicks. “Lightbulb.” 💡🤣

Keep in mind there are 3 more of these (I think they either recently released one more or are going to release it soon though...).

Surprising post but more than happy to see it pop up! One of my favourite Illumination movies growing up.

IT’S SO FLUFFY I’M GONNA DIE

I love this movie but I love Megamind more. 2010 was a good year for animated films.

You gotta get back in this X track - E 1. X-Men: Apocalypse 2. Logan 3. Deadpool 2 4. Dark Phoenix 4. Loki — Season 2 5. Deadpool & Wolverine
