Just FYI Days of Future Past has 2 versions and the Rogue Cut is the best version

I don't know what's happening but your movie is so much faster than mine, I keep needing to pause you for like 5 minutes to catch up and once I'm caught up I have to pause again in 10 minutes because your movie will have sprinted ahead....We are definitely not watching the same version

A little "buyer beware" before going down the X-Men path more. Due to some continuity issues, I like to think of some of them as being a bit of a multiverse themselves. I think they're all pretty fantastic though.

Hey Eralia 🙂 I know everyone is mentioning that First Class should have come before this one, but since I thought you were going to watch that one first, I was going to comment to please watch the extended and unrated version of The Wolverine (2013) its a little better than the PG-13 version. It’s about 12 minutes longer, and it has more action and gore and its tone is more in line with the next Wolverine film, (Logan) I wish I mentioned it to you sooner because a lot of people don’t know about it and every YouTube reactor watches the PG-13 version of

Hey E. I've missed ya man! IYKYK. Do your homework! 😉😅 Honestly it's been a pretty hectic week since this aired sortaspeak and I thank you for finally helping me personally find the catharsis needed to shed some much needed tears both for this film and life itself. 😅 Hope you're doing well and here's to hoping for an reaction to Inception down the line if you've never seen it cause the idea of living a dream within a dream on this timeline alone sorta does kinda send one spirally mentally. 🙏🤓😅 BTW, that mentally awesome moment when you realize that this was essentially a handicap fight between Logan and both The Silver Samurai as well as Scorpion of the Mortal Kombat universe who was also the Asian guy that Hawkeye fought in Endgame when he was still a purposeless Ronan in a sense after losing his family. 🤓🤯🤣 Here's to whatever you have coming up next E cause at this point, I'm with you to the end of the line! 💔😅😉

This is an example of one of those movies in this massively expansive saga that is totally skippable but I am also totally here for. If you are enjoying being a "completionist" then by all means, indulge. I have definitely skipped some things along your journey, and rejoin in the next or the next next. As long as you are enjoying the journey and not feeling burnt out, I think it's great that you're hitting just about everything. (Still gotta go back and hit The Fantastic Four - at least the first one... which if you do, I feel like you'll definitely check out Silver Surfer 😂) You know what, even if you check out Ghost Rider, Blade, Hulk, uhhhh... NOT Daredevil... I'll tune in. Haven't watched those since I was a kid. But I promise the investment is going to be 100% worth it. You'll be able to say "I got that reference," which is obviously the most important thing 😂

Thirst all you want! Hugh Jackman looks ridiculously good in this movie, and somehow keeps getting more jacked as he gets older. Another excellent reaction from Eralia as always. I hadn't seen this movie in a very long time. It's more aesthetically gorgeous to watch than I had remembered, credit to James Mangold, an excellent director. And I love the Japanese culture. I don't think that antagonists' motivations need to be particularly logical, especially in a superhero movie - but the villains (despite excellent individual acting performances) are difficult to take seriously because of the mediocre script and plotting for their characters. For example, her "betrothed"'s story arc makes no sense (before the very end) - the grandfather confided in him about his plan to give the will to his fiance because she's weak (as Viper put it)? Absurd stuff can work in superhero movies and that sorta stuff is just frustratingly absurd - it's a thin delicate line to pull off successfully. The poorly written antagonistic arc is the main thing that drags this movie from being a memorable Marvel movie. Logan is about 10x better. As for First Class - I'm very excited for her to watch that movie too, but she did address this in the intro that she was doing the Wolverine movies, rather than skipping First Class and says she'll be watching that. I'll echo the other comments that First Class maybe should be viewed before Logan (another absolute classic), but it's not a huge deal either way.

What Marvel eventually got right was showcase movies for each of the characters. Wolverine gets play in this era, but no stand alone for Storm, Cyclops -- like, imagine if outside the Avengers films you only had Ironman movies and no Cap or Thor

Moral of the story save people from nukes so they can have a hot granddaughter, but don't trust them in any way.

Great reaction! Best standalone Wolverine movie IMO, Second best X-Men movie w/ Wolverine (Best is X-Men: Days of Future Past)

As for why his name has to be on it the answer is in the psychology of corporate governance. People who run large organizations like that tend to be Sociopathic and narcissistic in nature. This has been known for a long time but is never really talked about. So in this the movie is extremely accurate.

"I've never seen The Iron Giant but I'm assuming it's something like this." ::pauses movie:: Please add The Iron Giant to your "List of Animated Breaks From Marvel" if it exists. It's only 86 minutes long, has a 96%/90% Tomato-meter score, features Vin Diesel's greatest non-tree VA role, and is worth watching at least once. Have a tissue on hand near the end. Okay, that was all. ::unpauses movie::

Hard-hitting introduction to Superman for Eralia, but perhaps more beautiful for that very reason

Logan was meant to be the last Wolverine movie so you will have one more. Also Deadpool 1&2 are considered part of the X-Men saga. Oh and FYI remember the girl he meets first in this movie she appears later in Deadpool 2...

Always the *** order discussion in the comments. Dont worry, you can definitely continue the Logan solo movies or the story path that comes with First class ... Does not matter. Have fun. Oopy-goopy.

We overshot X-men 1st Class but it's almost inconsequential. This was the perfect movie to watch out of order. Please watch 1st Class before Days of Future Past though. :)
