Great reaction! Definitely a useful show to watch before Thinderbolts
Hi eralia! Could we please get reactions for Marvels What If series? It鈥檚 really good and I think you鈥檇 love it.
i never understood why walker wanted so bad to team up with sam and bucky, if he isnt capable of doing this by himself with the military behind him he isnt really cap material imo. steve never let someone being upset with him stop him from doing his mission. cant wait for the rest of the reactions, its nice seeing someone with military experience react to it. one of my fav mcu disney shows i really like how grounded it is
Yes, watch Daredevil and the other related shows that lead to Defenders and afterward. But delay until you have seen MCU stories such as Guardians 3, Ant-Man 3, Loki season 2, Thor 4, and the Hawkeye tv show. These in particular will evoke strong emotions for you without a doubt and are must-see in your current MCU progress
Great Value Captain America over here... Yeah, even when I started the series, none of my friends really trusted him. Steve was a good person first and a good soldier second. Walker is a good soldier, and we're already seeing the cracks in him being a good person. As for all of the MCU shows, you don't have to watch _all_ of them. However, I will strongly recommend Hawkeye. What If...? is definitely an interesting one. Season 1 is kind of hit or miss for me on the episodes, but season 2 is awesome, as is Moon Knight! Still, these first three series of WandaVision, Loki, and Falcon and The Winter Soldier are, I would say, the most directly relevant to the larger MCU narrative. Miss Marvel, Hawkeye, and Iron Heart are shaping up to feed pretty strongly into the movies. A lot of the other shows are less... 'urgent', I suppose Still, they're worth watching!
This is actually one of my favorites. Marvel really took a risk in addressing some of the "feelings" around Sam getting the shield. It was a very meta approach. Unfortunately, The Fandom isn't always quite as progressive with things like inclusion, and women.
My goodness! 馃槅 I can hardly keep up! I've seen these already but damn! You are cracking on quickly! Thank you 馃挄 Eralchik
I highly recommend a couple of great marvel games when you pick your next game. Games: Marvel's Midnight Suns (2022), and Guardians of the Galaxy (2021), Very different games, but both have good stories and gameplay! And agree with everyone else, Daredevil is definitely worth it.
Great Video.
Try and watch this through the eye's of John Walker, an active military soldier.
Daredevil is a tough call. On one hand, you're totally right that it's a huge commitment. You've got more than enough on your plate with the X-Men and MCU stuff. On the other hand, they're really good! These shows are technically connected to the MCU, but only very loosely until recently. You will meet a few of these characters, though, and it looks like the universes will continue to converge. Since they're on Netflix, the shows are allowed to be quite a bit darker and more grounded than the MCU. I think you'll want to see at least some of them eventually, but there is no particular hurry. Daredevil only has three seasons, but it's the keystone for a whole parallel universe of characters. It includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, who then come together into a street-level Avengers-style team called the Defenders. The Punisher isn't in the Defenders, but he's part of the universe and has his own show. In all, I believe it's 178 episodes in 15 seasons, plus a Special Presentation and arguably a couple of spin-offs. The good news is that you can start reasonably small to get the flavor and then decide what to do from there. The first season of Daredevil is the place to start, and you'll probably want to watch season 2 to meet the Punisher. I would also highly recommend watching Jessica Jones season 1 because she's great and it has one of the best villains in the MCU. After that, you can quit, take a break, or keep going if you're into it. That's my advice.
Daredevil is totally worth it! You will deeply enjoy it and be super glad you watched it, I'm sure of it. All the old Marvel Netflix shows are good. Even my mom got into it and watched every episode of every show, so I know you can do it.
Eralia's mock pronunciation of "Flag Smashers" is absolutely perfect. I actually forgot that the first few episodes of this show have some strong, very moving moments, since I was so disappointed by the ending. The weakest point was the writing, specifically for the "Flag Smashers," making that pronunciation all the more perfect by the end of the series. I don't blame the actors, the leader seems to be a solid actress, they just gave her terrible material.
There was no mention of any mutants in the MCU in anything you've seen so far. It was legally not possible lol. Only recently has the MCU started being allowed to use the X-Men and the term mutant
PLEASE watch daredevil!!!!!!!! take it slow its all good, but its way too good for you to miss!
Man, I do not like the hero 'gatekeeping'. So what, they can be heroes, but a four time metal of honor wielder can't?? Why not?? The government GAVE the shield to Cap in WW2, after the government decided he was the guy. But somehow it's not ok for them to reissue it to another hand picked soldier?? That's like complaining that they reissued your M4, or someone else flying in your Raptor after you retire. Bro, it was never yours to 'give away'. Imagine complaining that only you get oak leaves and no one else should be allowed to command a battalion after you retire, or thinking you get to decide who replaces your command. So -- The red-hand-globe folks are a private non governmental group of randos that think they know what is best who have appropriated super soldier serum to help them further their vision of what's best. That's bad. Falcon and Bucky are a private non governmental group of randos that think they know what is best who feel entitled to their super soldier tech so they can further their vision of what's best. That's good? (???) I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I originally skipped this series, and while I'll watch everything you and the crew do this one is odd.
You should really watch the Hawkeye and Ms Marvel very soon or much of what you are running into will be confusing...
"I have poor circulation" "Does it affect any other limbs?" Never change Eralia
Definitely more grounded series and it hits some of that post-blip real human interest consequences of such an event with some very racially charged themes which I think turned many people off. I for one liked the series a lot. 馃槉
Quiet part out loud.
You've gotta be Falcon kiddin me'! i thought you wouldn't watch this but i'm glad you are!!!!馃
This was never my favorite show, but it has some good points, and... necessary MCU plot elements. Though I did enjoy my second viewing more, going in knowing what it's like.
DAREDEVIL is worth it trust us!
and end of season 2 is a fair stopping point
When I was stationed in Korea I would get so smashed off Soju
SWEET!
Now you understand why we wanted you to watch this. Hits different and is definitely your jam. Also when you are done, you are free from any "watch order". Another series that I think has a similar vibe is "Secret Invasion". Its feel like a Netflix secret agent series. But the ending is so bad, Marvel themselves distanced from it. So not really a recommendation still. I liked it though. And yey, kitty cuddle time!
Darn it! Now I have to re-sub to Disney+ because this was one of my favorite post-End Game series and I am NOT gonna miss your reaction to this!!! 馃榿
Nice. Definitely enjoyed this series
The phrase you were looking for was "colour palette", blurry Eralia. :D
OMG this is a very good show. I hope you like it!
Yes! I am so glad you鈥檙e watching this series!
Finally. I think you鈥檙e gonna really enjoy this series. It鈥檚 not perfect, but when it hits, it hits.
W reaction Eralia
