Now you just need to watch LOGAN before deadpool volverine. And Deadpool 2 of course

I don't believe you'll gain much from a Deadpool rewatch. Deadpool 2 would be perfect after this and X-Men First Class.

I so love that you continue to approach these with innocence, wonder and Joy. When you can manage your expectations an just enjoy a movie for what it's trying to be you'll always have a good experience. You've got a great Sub base with so many awesome comments and suggestions (on YouTube as well). - I'm sure they will help where I've miss stepped below. As for the inconsistencies: You have look at the history of Comic Books in cinema, to see how more accurate depictions (now seen as profitable) are taken a chance on, and attempts are made to "get it (more) accurate". Very campy early on, 78 Superman was a good step, but not until Blade[R] & Batman did things really shift. X-men 2000 [Rights owned by 20th Century Fox[], and Spider-Man 2002 [Rights owned by Sony], and even Fantastic 4 2004 [Also Fox Owned] with Chris Evans as the Human Torch (current Captain America), were big steps but not quite dialed in. I think this why Marvel focused on Movie rights that they owned. Ironman, Captain America, Thor. Thanks again for your work, this may be "Full-Time" someday. Can you imagine? = ]

Damnn why cant we watch it scene for scene without it being blurred or so small in the corner this was the reason I have to cancel after just subscribing today

Patreon wouldn't allow posting copyrighted content, as they still have to comply with DMCA. This is well explained in Eralia's profile description. This is a standard for any reactors' Patreon you can find btw. I get your point tho

There's an upcoming wolverine game, from the same developers who made the spider man games we keeping asking you to play lol

Add me as a +1 for a Deadpool 1 rewatch. Now that you know the X-Men and have seen most the Marvel movies. It should be slightly better for the references.

So… this version of Deadpool, to put it lightly, was not well received. Deadpool not being able to talk in this movie is equivalent to Superman being in a movie and not having his powers. Makes no sense. However, because Ryan Reynolds really fought tooth and nail to get the character right on the big screen, we got one of the biggest R-Rated Blockbusters of all time and one of the best comic book movies franchises as well. Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Deadpool & Wolverine (yes, you read that right) are much better films and represent the character much better than this movie ever did. That being said, really enjoyed your reaction. Can’t wait to see your reaction to X-Men: First Class. If you plan on watching the Hawkeye show, I would highly recommend you watch Daredevil (2015) as there is a major character in that show you will not know about unless you’ve watched that show first (if you do watch the show, the first season is honestly enough to get you up to speed, but it is such a great marvel show I’m sure you’ll want to finish all three seasons). Until next time! 😄

As someone who didn't know Deadpool back then, I really liked him. The OG Wade Wilson Merc with a mouth that got introduced and the insane fight in the end. However, later on, after seeing Deadpool, I finally did get why many hated this iteration. OG Deadpool so much cooler.

Muldoon · August 7, 2026

god damn this movie suuuucks, but we're on a journey you see..

J
Jackdaw418 · August 7, 2026

I really want Guardians 3, or for her to watch the shows leading up to Thunderbolts. But the feelings of nostalgia to watch these old x-men movies again is great

D
Dwight Munson · August 7, 2026

The continuity between the X-Men movies isn't the best, especially with Deadpool. I just like to see them as entertainment and possibly working within a multiverse.

l
leonardo · August 7, 2026

Yes, there are X-Men video games; there are the X-Men Legends games from the mid-2000s. X2 had a video game that came out alongside the movie, called X2: Wolverine's Revenge. It actually has nothing to do with the movie; it's more based on the comics, but they marketed it alongside the movie. X-Men Origins: Wolverine had a video game that is based on the movie, which many people considered to be better than the movie. However, if you are interested in that one, you're going to want to play the uncaged edition, which is the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC version. The PS2 version is completely different and is considered worse. On September 15th this year, there's an upcoming Wolverine game for the PS5.

I would love to see you watch “Project Hail Mary” hands-down, one of the best sci-fi movies I’ve ever watched. Ryan Gosling delivers a master class performance.

R
Rune-André Vestland · August 6, 2026

And now, forget this movie :p It's not canon anymore. I like this movie a lot, but it gets so much of the lore wrong they later went back and got this movie removed from canon

On behalf of those of us who love these fandoms, we're very glad you keep falling down these rabbit holes! 😄 I might have to go back and watch your Witcher 3 playthrough, because that's one of my favourite games of all time. It got me through the COVID lockdowns. This movie is definitely an oddball. It's got some genuinely fun moments, but it's also one of the more controversial X-Men movies. Later films don't always line up with it very well, and it takes a few liberties with the comics. This version of Deadpool is probably the biggest reason it gets so much criticism. They really did him dirty. Also, yes—you absolutely should go back and rewatch Deadpool! I'd genuinely love to see your reaction to it a second time after everything you've watched over the past year. It'd be a completely different experience now that you've gone through the MCU and started the X-Men movies. Sticking with the X-Men journey though, First Class should be next, and that's a fantastic movie. As always, looking forward to whatever you decide to watch next!

Kyle Rutledge · August 6, 2026

Some BTS for Ryan and Deadpool, he was trying to play Deadpool for the longest time, and they basically said, "This is the only way you can." so of course he said yes. He didn't like it much, and fans didn't either. But many years later after fighting and fighting, he got his movie made and could redo it. This movie was mainly the reason the next one's you watch are very different, and there was a big gap between them. They wanted to come back and effectively reboot the timeline. And to be honest I think it all fits into the MCU more now. Every change or changed decision is a branched timeline the TVA may want to prune if you think about it.

J
JJ · August 6, 2026

Please don’t watch Deadpool 2 or Deadpool and Wolverine until after watching Logan please!!!

L
Lizard Ahaz · August 6, 2026

The X-Men timeline she is talking about contains Deadpool 1 & 2 after Logan and there are other movies in the MCU that come before Deadpool and Wolverine of which it is a part Blade is another movie she should watch and hopefully all three so she understands the Easter eggs. It would also be of help to see 2003 Daredevil and 2005 Fantastic 4 before that one.

m
mark arditi · August 6, 2026

There is a Deadpool Video Game and a Wolverine game is coming soon. It would be awsome to react to some youtube videos about the og comic book versions of some of your favorite chracters from marvel. So you can also kinda see whats diffrent and whats very lore acurate in wich movies. Ur reaction to the og costumes of all the chratcers would be cool

l
luanfsp · August 6, 2026

Rewatching Deadpool and following Deadpool would be nice!

M
McShades · August 5, 2026

Yeah the X-Men stories are not the most consistent from movie to movie. Personally I enjoyed them still but hardcore comic book fans got upset over a few things.

T
Teyon Alexander · August 5, 2026

All this time and I somehow didn’t put together that Lynn Collins and Taylor Kitsch were also in John Carter of Mars (a pretty underrated film).

T
Troy · August 5, 2026

One of my favorite things about watching these along with your reactions is it helps me see many of them in a new light, as well as a more positive attitude than my first time around. Some of us had very... entrenched opinions about how certain movies and characters should or shouldn't be, and when they strayed from that, we got our spandex in a bunch. But you came to these with minimal expectations and nothing but awe and wonder, but also a critical eye when applicable, and it just breathes new life in them for me, so thank you for that.

S
SquaredSpekz · August 5, 2026

Ryan Reynolds was as unhappy about this first version he got play Deadpool as much as the rest of us and really wanted to make a good one. Years later a CGI test scene got made for Deadpool to pitch to the studio, they said no. It then got leaked online and everyone loved it so much the studio had to make the film and that's how we got the good Deadpool film. And it's a reboot. The stuff that happened here didn't happen the proper Merc with a Mouth.

L
Lizard Ahaz · August 6, 2026

Then it made record earnings for a Marvel movie and force the studio to make Deadpool 2... Which was even higher grossing.... Deadpool and Wolverine ended up with over 1.3 Billion at the box office and now marvel has begged Ryan Reynolds to make Deadpool 4... Funny how that worked out isn't it?...

J
Jay Adams · August 5, 2026

You're lucky you only watched DP 1. DP 2 comes from Reynolds wanting to "fix" this portrayal of Deadpool (AND his little jaunt into DC comics with Green Lantern that was also not really well met). You needed to see this before DP 2. Did you recognize the actor in this that played a hobbit in Lord of the Rings?

J
Jay Adams · August 5, 2026

Also, when you get around to DP 2, there are TWO versions of the released movie. The rated R theater version, and a PG-13 "modified" version released later (Once Upon a Deadpool). Don't discount the PG-13 version. They added a TON of extra content that basically make it an entirely new viewing experience.

Christian · August 5, 2026

wtf I had never seen that second post-credit scene. This would be my fourth rewatch I think but I guess I never stuck around long enough to catch it lol. Im glad you enjoyed it even if this is one of the weaker movies in the x-men series. I would not mind a deadpool rewatch at all, maybe right before deadpool 2? Im so excited for the next movie in this series (X-Men: First Class) its one of my favorites!

J
Jay Adams · August 5, 2026

I have to admit, me too. I don't remember if post credits teasers were a thing yet back then?

K
KAM5Brain · August 5, 2026

Hell yes I would watch a Deadpool 1 rewatch.

A
Adan N · August 5, 2026

Probably my personal least favorite x-men related movie. No offense just making conversation. TBH I think I only watched it once upon release. Perhaps it’s time to give it another try

L
Lizard Ahaz · August 5, 2026

This movie was a disappointment to Ryan Reynolds in how they treated Deadpool. Once you follow the X-Men franchise you will have Deadpool 1 & 2 in sequence. If you rewatch Deadpool like you expressed interest in you will understand his character much better and see why he had to fight so hard to bring him back. Keep in mind that 3 different studios owned the rights to these movies which explains why they don't mesh as well as they should have. Sony, Fox and Disney all had different ideas and Marvel studios which was owned by them had a hard time fixing the damage each caused.

D
Danny Madrigal · August 5, 2026

Love this reaction! Deadpool Rewatch would be Awesome!

R
Rey · August 5, 2026

This movie was a big reason deadpool ended up gettng made, fans were big mad about how they changed ao much about deadpools character that even ryan Reynolds started championing the character to get a proper orgin story. Cant wait for you to get to first class ,days of future past and Logan, those are some really good xmen flicks

C
CHRISXGAMESALOT · August 5, 2026

The Deadpool you watched a year ago was a soft reboot

R
Robert · August 5, 2026

The Deadpool movie you watched was the correct origin story. This version of Deadpool was stitched in as fan service (it wasn’t received well) and because Ryan Reynolds was promised a true Deadpool movie if he got on board X-Men are casting for the MCU as we speak. YOU would be perfect for Moira MacTaggert. Think about it ! 😃🙌🏼

T
Trix · August 5, 2026

This not so comic-book acurate version of Deadpool actually made Ryan Reynolds fight for years to make a "proper" Deadpool movie, which you already saw. He and the character are a good fit, like Hugh and Wolverine. And "eralia has fish brain"? ... Its so long ago but you still remember Deadpools lore. Im impressed. And was that seriously an "Alan" meme reference in the beginning with the ground hog? Haha :D

S
Sean Dame · August 5, 2026

While not the best of the X-Men movies IMO, I'm glad you're watching them all. This movie does help fill out Logan's story, but you'll also get all the references and call backs in the other movies to come.

S
Silas Kane · August 5, 2026

This is the most controversial of the installments and gets met with alot of hate. Some parts of this (like Deadpool) has been long since retconned/decanonized but the lore is still enjoyable and it's a..."fun" movie. If you enjoy this one you're gonna have no problem at all going forward. :)

L
Lelou · August 5, 2026

In case you did not make the connection yet, Victor is the Guy in X-Men 1 that Attacks Wolverine and Rogue while they were driving the truck and Rogue got stuck in the truck . When Striker is talking to the general before the general is killed, we See Stryker looking at a mutant in ice which has different color eyes, this is his Son, we know this from the original movie when his son tries to mind control the professor into using Cerebro against the humans. Scott does not recognize Wolverine in the Original X-Men movie because he never saw him in this movie, his eyes were closed the entire time, he also never knew Stryker's name, he was kidnapped by Victor, this is why in X-Men 2 he seems to not have a connection to Stryker in his later years, from his perspective, he was kidnapped as a child for a few days, he doesn't know by who.

J
Jay Adams · August 5, 2026

Yeah, the two versions of his "brother" are really different.

G
Guav · August 5, 2026

Z
Znorthup · August 5, 2026

Howdy E! First off, I love that Bugs Bunny joke at the opening! ❤️🤣❤️ Can't wait to see your reaction to the next X-Men film whether it's "The Wolverine" where he actually gets into a swordfight with Scorpion of the Mortal Kombat universe over in Japan or "First Class" which is essentially X-Men Origins: Xavier/Magneto. Either way you'll probably have a bangarang time and I can't wait to rewatch both of them with you down the line. Still hoping for a Batman reaction as well but that can honestly wait until you're all caught up with the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse. (Admittedly that full sentence just made me smile on par with the Joker but I'll digress upon that. 😅) Just continue to live your best life in the meanwhile! 😉😁 Take care and thank you for all your hard work! ✌️☺️
