Loki Season 1 Ep 5 Watch-Along

watch daredevil and wolverine! you spend more time in the void

❤️ This episode was fvcking wild right!? Oh it all gets so much better! 😉

Yeah, old man Loki is the _classic_ comic book costume for Loki! And... yeah. We've been so conditioned to not trust Loki, but... our variant has been through so much. I absolutely _love_ how embarrassed he is to see all of these variants of him fighting. You can see that look of "Gods, this really _is_ what I was like..." Anyway, yeah, with the MCU shows, they don't do next-episode previews, and they don't _always_ do end-credit scenes, but when they do, they're good to watch. Either way, you can watch the credits without fearing spoilers!

I just love Sophia Di Martino as an actress. It sounds so weird to say, but her "eyeball performance" in the blanket scene is the perfect distillation of Sylvie's true personality. People like her will never truly trust anyone, but in her eyes, you can see that she really wishes she lived in a world where she could know the comfort of trust. I'm probably reading way too much into it, but that's my takeaway. It feels real and true to life.

Such a good show!

Great reaction, great questions, great journey. With any series people would say now you are ready for the last episode, but not with this one. Have fun! 😊

This might actually be my favourite episode of the season so far. Seeing all the different Lokis together is such a ridiculous concept, but it works so well. The glorious purpose speeches, the inevitable betrayals, the complete chaos of it all... it feels like the most Loki episode possible. "Throw a stone and you hit a Loki in here."😂 I also really enjoyed seeing the growth of our Loki in this one. Compare him here to the guy who first got dragged into the TVA and it's hard to believe they're the same character. The development of Mobius and Sylvie has been great too. I honestly can't remember all the details of the finale anymore, just where the story eventually ends up, but I do remember being really excited as the pieces started coming together. Can't wait to see your reaction to the last episode and all the answers (and probably a few new questions) that come with it.

The Void is where everything (variants & realities) the TVA prunes go bc matter cannot be destroyed

One of these days, President Loki has to show up with a hook for hand!

5:50 you could've enjoyed alligator Loki all week! 7:30 Thanos 'copter was from the comics. It was a goofy time, best left pruned. 18 🤧gesundheit 20 Got an amazon wishlist? 23 Alliath is purple, the Marvel color of destruction, and red, the Marvel color of reality warping. 25:30 amazon wishlist to share? 29:45 _I love Loki's smirk as he imagines Sylvie in outfits he magics up_ 32 Liar McLiarface is trying to convince himself more than he's trying to fool Sylvie. 34 It's a Loki alligator, it can be on the ceiling if it wants. 🐊 39 Not just a city - his Asgard. End review - you would enjoy AppleTV's Silo, or the books it's based on.

"That's the worst loki costume" lol It's the best costume... it's comic book accurate.

Put your alligator plush in one of those mesh hammock net things and hang it from the ceiling

This is my favorite episode (at least from season 1).

There's a deleted scene for this episode with Throg (the frog Thor) where Chris Hemsworth did a voice cameo

This episode is very fun. And the finale is an all timer. I won't spoil anything - only suggest to prepare yourself mentally for by far the coolest intro credits to any Marvel movie or show in the next ep.

Sorry that we all jumped on you about that, and to be fair, 99.9% of the time, your approach to TV shows is totally valid, even in Marvel. This was pure randomness on their part with the Loki show.

the reason only lokis are alive in the endtimes is because lokis are the most common variant, and also the hardest to kill.

The end credit scenes are teaser designed to spark interest and anticipation without giving away anything for the next show so you don't have to worry.. Have a good time with your family I could never manage to handle mine for 2 weeks they would drive me batshit insane.

Thank you for singing in the start, it made it easier to sync hahaha

I'm waiting until all S1 gets posted, and then Imma binge 'em. Eff yeah 😂

Thanks again for sharing your Marvel journey with us. It's great to see you enjoying it so much and hear your thoughts on the characters. 👏🫶🫡
