Jesus bro has the media literacy of a 4 year old lmao
just continue the release order, some misses, but there are those that really hits. especially recent ones. what you have to understand is that they had to pivot due to actors' legal troubles and had to ry different things, so its really experimental. I for one am looking forward to the new Avenger movie coming end of this year!
So I get to this like a month later. I was a soon as it posted watcher of all your MCU stuff all along and I realized I didn’t want this Infinity Saga watch along to end. So I dragged it out a whole month. I watch full watch alongs for the MCU a lot but this has been my absolute favorite. I guess that is why I didn’t want it to end. There is nothing like the first time, except a good watch along from a good reactor gets you close to the same excitement and emotions we had back when this all started. Thank you for all the great moments!
I just watched this for the ten millionth time and still cry everytime at the end lol
Great react video. I'm happy that you are more interested in experiencing these films yourself instead of listening to the comments. I've been a comic book fan for forty-seven years, and even though some films don't live up to the material they draw from, I still give all the films and TV shows a chance. That's my long way of saying I agree with you. Your open mind is encouraging to creators.
despite what anyone says...to get the full experience..you should watch the movies and tv shows from this point on in order of release
Watch invincible if you haven't yet!!
Of course at the end you decide what to keep watching. The reason for the advice of what to watch and not, is because you have very limited time and there are countless movies out there. And some are much better than others. Maybe start doing polls? Just a suggestion.
there were so many call backs in this movie. tony stark sacrificed himself in each avengers movie, its just that this time he actually did die. he was always the hero. you asked about Loki and what happened to him. you really should watch the Loki Disney+ series. Its one of the best of the marvel tv
you should definitely keep watching. Are all of them are the same standard of quality? No, some are better, some are worse, but they are still very enjoyable.
I cant give enough hearts and likes and love for this :) Its so heartwarming and fun to watch this along with u and see u have aaaaaaal this different emotions and feelings and aaaaaaaal the hype and cheering :)
Don’t forget about the Marvel Disney Plus series. They’re the closest we’ve ever gotten to “direct from the comic book pages” stories
My gf and I were waiting for this and it was everything we were hoping for, had some drinks and chucked you on and it felt as though we were watching it the first time together again which was beautiful! Although even better especially as we know this isn’t the end of the story as it seemed when the movie came out. Definitely looking forwards to your next reaction which we’re hoping is Deadpool 2 (as Deadpool 3 aka Deadpool and Wolverine joins the MCU) because it came out a year before endgame so slightly overdue. Then maybe the Spider-Man movies which you’ll want to watch before the next MCU Spider-Man
When the Marvel logo appears at the end of the closing credits, the sound of a hammer hitting metal can be heard several times (this is the sound of Tony Stark forging his suit in Iron Man (2008), setting in motion the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
She’s Standing!!!
Wonderful reaction! The only thing that would make it better is if you ever learn to show at least a hint of emotions in your reactions :)
I still want to know what you thought of the movie itself...good points, bad points....do not get me wrong, I loved you reaction to this, but I also wanted more feedback to the actual entire thing. You didnt like when the girls stood out to be bad asses? When Cap get the hammer, or even switched hammers!? This is most definitely me, but short synopsis on an almost three hour movie that is the amalgamation of 19 other movies. I just assumed you would bring up the likes and dislikes. "That is America's ass." Either way, youre the best, keep doing what youre doing. Thank you, over all for taking the time out of you exhausting schedule to upload this (multiplies times on YouTube?) I know you've been doing 2 months of 16s, I know that life, and I say fuck it. Thank you for always being jovial and optimistic. Much love!
The way you're invested in the overarching story, it's probably time to start folding in the MCU TV series. The best of them are outstanding and strongly connected to the ongoing continuity. Lots of post-Endgame developments.
This reaction made me feel like I watched it for the first time again, I cried yet again as if I didn’t already know what was coming, can’t believe we made it this far!
Seeing you watch these movies has been a blast and makes me hope that one day when you have the time you'll play Marvel's Spider-Man
Feels like hitting the finish line of a marathon. It's been truly enjoyable to go back and watch these again; not sure if I'd have rewatched them if not for your channel (not intended as a dis, there's just so many films out there I've never seen and the nature of the MCU films is forward progress to a grand finale, so... time commitment) -- but watching them alongside a fresh set of eyes has been a blast. If you continue on with the Marvel movies, cool. If you opt to tackle some of the shows (Loki or Daredevil or Jessica Jones or the like), excellent. If you decide to change direction and step back to stand alone movies; that'd be fantastic as well. It's your show; as long as you're enjoying the content, it makes it pretty easy to enjoy the watch along. Stay safe!
Glad you made it.
I hope you do all of the Multiverse Saga in release order too, including the Disney+ shows
Aye, I agree... Def keep going into the multiverse, in release order :) I too would love to see some of the Disney Series, Mainly my favorites: Lokie & Agents of Shield :), but i'll happily watch reactions to them all :)
I'm sure someone said it already. Pepper in her suit is called Rescue, and she is defensive/protection only
As I said in my previous comment on this thread @eralia you are showing up in videos with other popular reactors already and that is going to give you a real boost. https://youtu.be/t8xw0kciZB8?si=7sUjkZBfINdHjMM3
Loved the reaction and taking the journey with u, I was a late commer to Marvel as well so I related to your journey a lot and love your mindset of keep on watching the movies. I will say now you should maybe take a break and go watch the old marvel movies like the Spider-Man and X-Men films, without saying much but you would need it later on, I would also highly recommend the Netflix Defenders shows, those were shows that came between 2015-2018 that took place in the street level of the MCU, the shows included Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron fist, now I'm gonna keep it real you don't have to watch them all if any but they're amazing shows with incredible stories and I would recommend for you to at least watch Daredevil because it is more important than the rest and is highly praised as one of the best superhero media there is, so thats it I hope you'll see this and if you do keep in mind it all takes place before Infinity War
I highly enjoyed the journey through Marvel with you and look forward to seeing more of your Marvel journey, whenever that may be, if it's right away or you take a break to watch non-superhero movies or some of the older Marvel movies, like Spider-Man or the X-Men movies. I know some say to stop here, but I think it's worth it to continue, everyone has different tastes and interests so who knows what you might like or dislike that others have had the opposite opinion with. There's already been some movies you've enjoyed that a lot haven't liked. I would recommend the TV shows along with the movies, shows that have a lot of connection to the movies like Loki, WandaVision, which are great, Hawkeye which is one of my favorites as well, I just think it's a fun watch, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Ms. Marvel. There's also Moon Knight which I think is creative and interesting, though I'm not sure how much connection it will have to the movie world. There's also some shows that will have some connection to the movie world and also have a lot of mixed opinions or dislike, some of which I liked and some of which I didn't like Secret Invasion or She Hulk and others. The animated series What If, is worth a watch. Getting into the longer shows that would take more time, I would recommend the Netflix Marvel shows that will also have a connection to the movie world Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher and Ironfist. Plus just for recommendations because I think they're good shows like Agent Carter, which isn't that long 2 shorter seasons and Agents of Shield, where you get to see some characters you did seem to enjoy in the movies a little more. Whether you choose to or have the time to watch any of these recommendations, I've enjoyed the journey with your reactions thus far and will continue to enjoy whatever other reactions you choose to do.
OMG! So good! The experience of seeing this in the theater on opening night (and several other times) was unrivalled. There are probably half a dozen iconic moments that would have been the absolute peak of any other movie, but they are all overshadowed by the portal scene. You should watch some theater reaction videos. Everyone in the theater went nuts: gasping, crying, and cheering! I've never seen anything like it and probably never will again. The pop culture impact was also enormous. There were memes for days. Everyone willing and able to see a movie saw this one. That's why it made almost $3 billion! I can't praise the writing enough. It's almost perfect. Yes, you can find some plot holes if you nitpick, but that is inevitable with something of this scale. It strikes every emotional note, from silly and funny to suspenseful and exciting to poignant and tragic. Everything hits hard. All the many major characters play key roles, and several resolve multi-film arcs. Nobody feels overlooked. They somehow managed to coordinate everybody, dozens of the biggest stars in Hollywood, which is a feat on its own. For a 3-hour movie, it never really drags. Every scene, almost every line, is packed with easter eggs. They weaved together 21 movies' worth of lore and references without alienating casuals or feeling like a live-action Wikipedia page. It's astonishing how well this came together. What impresses me most is how much they didn't play it safe. They could have phoned it in, had the heroes fight Thanos for the gauntlet again, and made easy money. Everyone would have eaten it up after Infinity War. Instead, they took so many huge swings, and they basically all landed dramatically. Immediately defeating Thanos and destroying the stones, five-year time skip, new personalities, time travel, revisiting previous movies, everything about the third act, lasting sacrifices, etc. I would have picked two or three big swings, but they took like twenty, and it worked! There was no good reason not to keep Tony and Cap around for more movies, but instead, they went out on a high note with thematically appropriate endings. Tony finished his arc from selfish loner/profiteer to selfless family man/savior of the world. Cap, whose life was defined by sacrifice, got to live out a real life of his choosing. It was bold and bittersweet, but satisfying. As for moving forward, you should absolutely keep watching the movies. Don't listen to the haters. Nothing since Endgame has surpassed it (yet), but that isn't a fair or useful metric. I have enjoyed all of the MCU movies, to be honest. Some are definitely better than others, but even the worst is a solid action flick with familiar characters. And several to come are very good. That said, don't expect them to keep getting better or feel as coherent as the Infinity Saga. You should finish out phase 3 with Spider-Man: Far From Home, then do whatever you want! You could watch some old Spider-Man or X-Men movies, start a show like WandaVision or Loki, or dive into phase 4 with Black Widow. I don't think you'll be disappointed, either way.
Like the movie itself, this was Totally worth the wait! Thank you E and here's to Phase 4 which focuses on the overall grief and recovery of these characters post-Thanos! Cannot wait to hear your discussions about those topics! Anyways, keep up the great work and stay safe over there!
What a rollercoaster. Best reaction to a movie yet.
I have a bittersweet relationship with Endgame, as it was the last Marvel movie I got to watch while stationed in GTMO for 2.5 years (Navy orders), and it was with friends who I haven't been able to see since. I remember the base theatre was just a normal theatre but outside, so no walls/ceiling. Popcorn getting stolen by the banana rats. Marvel moving forward has amazing gems, and going backwards to Spider-Man and the X-Men films would be a great breather with the MCU for now, and they just have such a different vibe to them. I remember they purposely took a year break from releasing anything to just breath.
Amazing watch. Take a breath and then keep watching.
I love your reactions and I wait with expectations you reactions to old Spidey's movie you gonna loved
I think it is very much worth it to keep watching. The next 5 I think are still good. There is a rough patch after that for four movies that are kinda goofy but still have some cool moments. Then we get some really good movies after that. And I think right now is an upswing in MCU movies that is bringing us back to how good it was. But seriously endgame is a 10/10 and the "bad" movies in phase 4 and 5 are like 7/10 it aint as bad as people say.
This was awesome! I really enjoy reliving it with you. I'm envious of everybody who got to see it in the theater. What a ride! Spider-Man far from home is a great flick. And some TV series like Agents of SHIELD. and Agent Carter are pretty awesome side stories to check out. I was really into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. because it brings in so many characters from the comics and deals with Hydra as well. People are mixed on it, but it was well worth watching for me.
I hope you continue to watch MCU movies. As much as I will also agree that "for now" this is the peak of MCU, I still think the content of the new movies is interesting especially when they touch on the topic of bringing back everyone but 5yrs in the future. I don't want to share any spoilers but I am sure you know that the impact of that won't all be positive. I just feel the new movies has a deeper, darker side to it. It just feels more real, which is also appealing in its own way.
Still to this day, I have never experienced what I did when watching the endgame portals scene in the cinema. The whole audience were just overwhelmed with emotion. I’ve never seen anything like it. Not before and not since. It was truly a special moment.
Old Spiderman rewatch to make the next Spiderman films feel so much better 🕷️💙
Old spideys! 🔥
Youre gonna love the entire spiderman saga its so good. Wandavision is a must watch! Loki season 1 and 2 are elite
You are the ONLY subscription that I have in patreon. I just love your character as whole, it is genuine, polite, educated and overall well mannered (other than the occasional F bombs, Thanos really got to you). Keep up the reactions bec you do make a lot of people happy. One suggestion if I may, if you can add a few mins in the end just to share more of your thought on your overall view of the movie and if it had any impact to you etc. Thank you again!!!
Omg I'm crying with you! I love this movie so much
Actually instead of going foward with phase 4, I would go back and watch Agent Carter with Peggy Carter, Howard Stark and Jarvis
I love that show, but no. It's not relevant for anything in the future and that's a lot of show to get through.
no, actually. I have to agree with the commenters there. The movie XYZ was bad. :P PS: you mentioned star wars, you seen andor?
❤️ x 3000!
This brought me Joy — loved every fricken second, and it landed perfectly. Good shet, E.
As you move into Phase 4 I definitely recommend adding the TV shows (plenty of lists of Phase 4 movies/TV watch order). The shows make the movies more enjoyable (and less confusion)
The Wandavision and Loki series are key
We made it. Endgame is here. I genuinely think this is the epitome of cinematic hype. The character buildups, the storylines, the tie-ins across so many movies all converging into this — I don't think anything will come close to what Marvel pulled off here. I always say I wish I could wipe my memory and experience it all again from scratch, and getting to watch it through your eyes has honestly been the next best thing. This movie is such an emotional rollercoaster. Straight away it hits hard with Hawkeye losing his family, then you get that brief bit of lightness with Tony and Nebula, only to drop right back into it with his message to Pepper. Everything feels so hopeless… and then that moment of hope when Captain Marvel shows up. And it just keeps going — Scott coming back and finding his daughter grown up, discovering Tony has a daughter of his own. That whole sequence with Tony hits even harder on a rewatch. “I got my second chance” and “I love you 3000” absolutely wreck me every time knowing what’s coming. The whole film just swings between heartbreak, humour, and those massive “let’s go!” moments so well. I don’t have many strong cinema memories, but this is one of them. Midnight screening with a bunch of mates, and the energy in the room was unreal. Two moments in particular — Cap lifting Mjolnir, and the “On your left” portals scene — the entire theatre just exploded. Seeing you react in that same way was so much fun, it really brought that feeling back. One small bit of context that can be easy to miss: the people brought back were only the ones lost in the snap. Characters like Natasha, Gamora, and Vision didn’t come back because they died before that for other reasons. And the Gamora we see here is from an earlier point in time, not the same one from before. All in all, such a fantastic reaction. What a journey this has been — from the start of the MCU all the way to this. And on the "don't bother after Endgame" crowd — I'd ignore that. Some of my favourite MCU movies are post-Endgame, at least two of my top three honestly. Following Endgame is a near-impossible act, so naturally some people feel let down, but that's an expectations problem more than a quality one. The movies are still worth experiencing and forming your own opinion on — which, as you said, you're going to do anyway. You're the captain of this boat. What a journey. Harry Potter and the Infinity Saga both done. Looking forward to whatever comes next.
Approaching jump in 3 ... 2... 1 *Screen turns black, graphic card driver crash at perfect timing* Well insecure boys don't want to watch women, especially ones who argued about women right stuff, so Cap Marvel is hated by some for political nonsense. You know big bad woke Disney and stuff, even though the whole superhero genre is woke. Even if it's not THAT good, being as cinematic as Infinity Saga seems mental, it's a really high bar, enjoying simpler things is nice as well. Too bad I am the one who remains to be actually really hyped about multiversal saga stuff. But seen all the surrounding mess, I get why I didn't go so well in this timeline of ours. XD I love stories about different realm, planes, timelines, loops, multiverses, etc had some really complex ideas of my own. But I believe you need to be a super geek and nerd to enjoy those things and keep up with the narrative. But You might want to check out the series Loki then, as it dives into that genre
Forget the superheroes. The divine sent a rat to save the MCU LOL People telling it ain't personal always lie, they simply don't care, that you are personally involved, so they intentionally personally ignore your wellbeing for their own gain. Only if no person is involved, not even them it's not personal. Some poetic justice, that Thanos might get would be the fate, he wanted to force upon others, maybe that's how the dark elves were thrown out of their universe. Seeking revenge for being defeated for their own misdeeds. Major foreshadowing throughout the movie, but so many closures for people broken inside, finding each other again, after such tribulations and sacrifices. Hope if something like that would ever be reality, that some force might actually help, guide, educate, heal, and fight with them, so that it's much more bearable. As a doom message. Marvel is extremely full of love and light, even with soo much at scale and heartbreak. While Thanos was seeking balance and peace by sacrificing others, DC's big bad seek control and dominion, enslavement of existence to their will, like seeking the anti life equation. Ergo Thanos does have some redeeming qualities IMO, since he went mad by an Apocalypse and wanted to prevent any further, he sought justice inside respecting existence and other powers. Darkseid on the other hand wanted to enslave everyone, without any respect for powers above him. While the aura farming is over 9000 in DC's storys, the lighthearted family sticking together sentiment of Marvel is something else.
And in the end, it was just a love story...
I’ve seen quite a few reactions to this and yours is absolutely the best. Thanks for putting your heart into it. It is unique. 7 years on from Endgame I’ve not seen anything as good but that may change next week. That’s what’s great about the medium, you know it when you see it. As for what’s next I have only a selfish request, watch it all. 🍻
Glad to have relived this journey with you Eralia <3 Thank you so much for watching these with us
"Who said I don't need to watch Captain Marvel? I saw a few of those comments. This is very relevant." Yup. She exists... wtf else do you need to know? I'm genuinely curious as to what other valuable knowledge you reaped from that "film". Like... if there's actually anything else important to pull from that experience, please tell me. Her character was literally written to be a deus ex machina...
it was valuable to know WHY she was a deus ex machina. otherwise i would’ve been like “who is this random bitch saving the day”… but instead i was like oh yeah that’s our powerful baddie.
This was a fantastic re-watch for me. My main takeaway, this time, was that we always wonder as to what we would say to our past selves and past mentors, but this film inverts that idea and places the importance on the inversion of that question: What would they have to say to us? Maybe they're repeating a lesson we weren't ready to learn at the time. Maybe our current path of growth makes us more receptive to a lesson we already thought we had a good grasp on. When Kevin Feige first started publicly describing this movie, he said that it was inspired by "All Good Things", which was the finale for Star Trek: TNG. That finale was my favorite thing that my mom had ever introduced me to. If you know the story of that TNG finale, then you know how amazing it felt for me to take my mom to see this movie for the first time. Seeing her experience it for the first time was more epic than my first experience with this movie. We couldn't talk about it in the car without crying. Me: "Mom, when he told his mom that he..." My mom: "Gimme a minute. Can't talk about it yet".
Seeing this one in the theaters was... mind-melting. The reaction you had to the portals and Cap finally getting 'Avengers... Assemble.' out on screen? That was _everyone_ all at once. The whole place went insane. And when Tony snapped... absolute pandemonium, and everyone knew, just like you did, what it would cost. We were all crying, even before Thanos went. This was a cinematic achievement for the ages, and like everyone else here, I am so, so glad you've finally gotten to see it. All of the pain and tears of Infinity War paid off. And if you get the chance, go back and watch the bit w/Steve talking to Sam & Bucky before he goes... Bucky knew. Steve knew. 'It's gonna be ok, Buck.'
Okie dokie doctor jones hold onto your potatoes
If it wasn't mentioned already, the restored people have no memory of being gone. To them, five years just went by in a blink; by their point of view, everyone else just got five years older. As for what to watch next, release order is best IMO. Some TV shows, like Moon Knight, can be watched whenever since it doesn't tie directly into anything else. EDIT: If you want to watch the old stuff, there are 3 Spiderman movies with Tobey Maquire and 2 with Andrew Garfield (done by Sony I think). There are a ton of X-Men movies by Fox, Daredevil and Elektra by Regency, two Ghost Rider movies by Columbia, and 3 Blade movies by New Line.
Also, I'd like to add you can go ahead and tell 2025 Eralia THAT's why everyone came at her for starting with Deadpool. And a lot of people missed the cameo, but the kid standing by himself at the funeral was "Harley", Tony's little buddy in IM3. And hell YEAH, Danvers took out Thanos' mothership!! She's a fighter pilot after all, "Mors Ab Alto", Death From Above, babyyyy!! (technically that's a bomber wing motto, but my point remains)
thank you for that reminder!! i couldn’t place him 🫡
Had to join the Patreon just for this. Thank you so much for this beautiful reaction and all the other Marvel reactions on YouTube. Most of all, thank you for your service every day, but especially in these trying times. “Love you 3000.”🫶
Glad to have joined in this journey with you Eralia. Hopefully youll continue to. I hope you get to Guardians 3 at least, it's a must watch!
Did you just say "Amaze Amaze Amaze"(1:36-1:37)?! Sounds like you've seen Project Hail Mary?! Suck we won't get a first time reaction but I'm glad you got to experience it in theatres like it should be!!!
it was definitely worth a react but i really treasured my movie experience 😊
Yet again a great time listening to you watch this movie while I watch it with you its like we are bestie hanging out
I'm so glad that you finally made it here! I'll admit that there are things from Marvel post-Endgame that just... _aren't_ good in my opinion, there's still a _lot_ of my favorite Marvel still to come! So excited for you to get to the shows and movies still to come. Especially Loki! We... did kind of lose track of one of those here... I'll also say that you shouldn't skip What If...? Heck, for the shows, I don't think anyone is going to complain about you doing more than one at a time. But yeah, "Everything special about you came out of a vial" and "You're not the kind of person to make the sacrifice play." Both rebukes of one another proved GLORIOUSLY wrong!
I came in when you started your Marvel journey, I was curious what the "military" perspective would be and at first got pretty much what I was expecting, but with more details. You talked about the financial side of the collateral damage and it was interesting. As your journey went on it became more about the people for you rather than the cost, and at this point I've come to think that you really are the hero type. You are fantastic.
So glad to have made it this far, its been such a joy wataching your journey from the beginning to here, as you said, even though people are saying stop at endgame, fully agree with you not listening to any of that, there are plenty of amazing marvel movies that came after endgame, and the tv shows! theres still a big journey ahead of you! its been a pleasure watching along with you on this journey and i look forward to seeing you carry on with it and seee what you venture into next, whether its marvel or not! Take care of yourself Eralia!
Hey Eralia, I didn’t want you ask this earlier because it would definitely spoil things. But I strongly recommend you watch a YouTube edit by Slyfer2812 titled “You can rest now”. It’s a beautiful 8 minute video that sums up our MCU experience up to this point from the perspective of Tony Stark. It’s one of my favorite videos and it makes me emotional everytime. I’m confident you’d love it, even if you didn’t record your reaction. Although I’d love to see your reaction to it!
The moment when the portals open and you absolutely lose it. 🧡
Aaand this concludes the Marvel Cinematic Universe for me. What a ride it was to re-watch them alongside you! It was nice to re-experience this journey with you. I am glad you found the time to watch the grand finale of this entire storyline amidst any chaos that affects your life. It was fun! Thank you
Just continuing off my other long comment, there’s so much more new stuff you can see. I highly highly recommend you watch Spiderman Into the spider verse and across the spider verse. There are my two favorite animated movies of all time, and I think many would agree they are among the greats. Don’t be afraid to watch other series to, like the Dark Knight trilogy. Absolutely peak cinema, for all audience members, not just superhero fans
Glad you were able to make it to this moment despite what work threw at you. Hope you have been keeping well in these trying times. As far as the MCU goes, I would recommend finishing phase 3 with Far From Home. After that there really is a fall off in quality of the movies that come out after, despite what some of the positive people in your comments are saying. It’s certainly good to view life with the glass half full, but I must be honest as an MCU fan, there is definitely a big drop off. The CGI gets dramatically worse from here and the stories and characters are just uninspiring. However, there are still some bright spots worth watching. Wandavision and Loki are good shows. Spiderman No Way Home had Endgame level hype and I loved it just as much, just watch all the old Spider-Man’s so you keep up with the lore and hype. GOTG 3 was great! Doctor Strange 2 was a fun movie. And then I thought The Thunderbolts was a new shift for MCU, with some refreshing storytelling that made some new characters very relatable, characters that were otherwise hard to connect with. The Fantastic Four is also good to watch probably just so you are up to date with what’s happening for when Doomsday comes out
I might have missed you mentioning it, but there IS still one more movie in Phase 3, "Spider-Man : Far From Home". As for what to watch next, remember the mantra "Release order is best." It still applies and now includes the MCU TV shows as well as the new movies.
Absolutely loved this! It was great to relive this again through your eyes. Thanks for getting this to us despite life being stressful at the moment. We really appreciate it! Regarding the rest of the MCU it’s still all good. Some great story’s. The world building hasn’t been as good, they are a victim of their own success. They set such a high bar up to now it’s hard to maintain it. However I’ve enjoyed every single movie and TV show that came out from marvel, so look forward to future reactions!
So capt is pure good so he was worthy of Mjölnir and the power of thor which came with it Stormbreaker isn't under the same spell odin placed on Mjölnir so its a free for all weapon
Unfortunately this was the last Marvel movie for Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman. Boseman died of cancer in august 2020. There is sequel to Black Panther but it only has archived footage since it was made posthumously. Since you have seen Sinners and know Michael B Jordan, who was in Black Panther too, there are some nice behind the scenes stuff from Jordan who was a very close friend of Chadwick Boseman.
Anyone who says song bother after EndGame are delulu 😂. Topping what we just watched would’ve been a tall order, no matter what and some of the projects worn as great as others, but there are so many great pieces that keep tying this story up. Black Widow, Loki and more. AANNDD SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME AND NO WAY HOME! HOLY SHIT!! plus many more and so much more coming and it looks like marble has found their stride again with what’s coming and I really think we got some good things in store. This journey so far has been amazing. With everything you’re dealing with, thank you for this and I know we’ll be here for whatever you do next. 💙💙
I know this is a tough time for you, for everyone really, but you especially. Thanks for getting this out though, as I know so many of us have really been looking forward to this on in particular. I do hope that you’ll continue on the Marvel journey. There are so many great projects ahead…and don’t sleep on the Disney+ series as you have time too. Anyway, thanks for the journey so far and I look forward to what you do in the future, ❤️
Eralia returns from the Snap ❤️❤️ -On your left gamers
People think the metal sounds are Tony hammering away in the cave making the first suit.
The Superbowl of Marvel say's it all. I'm actually more excited about you watching Black Widow because of the Russian. I recently played the Guardians of the Galaxy game and it was epic! Fun and exciting and funny and the music you would expect from the movies. I highly recommend it!
Watching this movie feels like living a year in ups and downs, emotionally exhausted xd. Great reaction! It was an insane rollercoaster.
I bawled all over again .... right along with you. 🤍 I loved when you said "What happened to his (Thor's) brother??" I laughed out loud, because I cannot WAIT for you to experience LOKI and WandaVision for the first time! And, while I agree that you should watch all of the subsequent projects and experience them for yourself, I still feel a duty to prepare you for the shit-shows that are The Marvels and Ant-Man 3. Oh, and the last Captain America movie (walked out of that one). I still can hardly fathom that they somehow got green-lit by the purse-string holders. (Oyahuh ... and She-Hulk. 😬) But I guess the collective cringe-fest of said cinematic travesties actually serve to help us appreciate, all the more, when Marvel gets it JUST RIGHT, as they did with both "Infinity War" and "End Game." *End my "Deep-Eddy Peach Vodka" rant. Lol Lastly, a huge THANK YOU to you for allowing yourself to be so unguardedly open to your emotions as you've taken in all of this Marvel content ...to which all of us hold so dearly. You're kindasortaridiculously rad, 'n stuff. 😊
PEAK MARVEL FOR TV SERIES!! Yessssss
Great reaction! Now y'all can stop begging for Endgame reaction.
Eralia, we love you 3,000 🥹🫶🏻
Im so glad you found the time to watch this with everything going on right now!!. Please consider watching daredevil at some point in the future! it is in my opinion the best story, acting, and action, that marvel has ever had!! you wont regret it
It is still crazy to me that of the two deaths, one that hits the most for many is for a character whose arc is so strong despite having no movies of her own - ever present, elevating everyone around her, rising to every challenge, with absolutely no super powers to speak of. I think sacrificing herself to bring back half of every living person in the universe wipes out whatever red was left in her ledger. And her swan song was to save the man who first saved her, ultimately reuniting him with his family and bringing the man who had died with them back to life in the process. RIP Widow. With us from the beginning.
WandaVision is my most looked forward to thing to see people react to after Endgame
All those people that tell you not to watch a MCU movie, have already watched it themselves, so I would recommend watching them all and decide for yourself... Sure it's hit and miss after End Game but they're all still entertaining IMO... Plus it does give you the story and lore as Marvel builds up to the next big Avenger movie... plus some of the movies are really good, so you don't want to miss out.
It's Morbin Time!
Worth the wait! Thoroughly enjoyed your reactions throughout the infinity saga. Looking forward to your reactions in the next phases. I think you’ll love it just as much. 😊
Watch Loki show next so you can see where he went when he teleported
No wonder Strange had to scan so many possible timelines - he had to find the one with the hero rat
excuse the ai art, but basically this https://i.imgur.com/juwAiYp.jpeg
There are so many great characters yet to come in the Marvel journey for you. I'd love if you did the release order of everything past Endgame (plus some of the old stuff recs), but you do what you want. Some particular favorite characters yet to come and where they appear, Yelena (Black Widow), Kate Bishop (Hawkeye), Shang Chi, Ms Marvel, John Walker (Falcon & The Winter Soldier). People will complain about quality or whatever (which I think is overblown), but there's a ton of fun and heartbreak and everything in between to come. It's been a wonderful journey rewatching the first three phases with you Eralia. Here's hoping to see a lot more on your terms.
All I have to say is, your reaction to the Assembling is 100% in line with the theater experience. After 10 years, 23 movies, and all the character investment and emotional labor the films put us through, this was the ultimate cinema experience. You're not the only one that got on your feet when that was happening. Greatest moment in all film, and I'm glad that in spite of all else happening in the world and around you, you got to sit down for a few hours and enjoy this, with all of us here with you.
Wow! Eralia dropping f-bombs and double 🖕🖕 at Thanos was epic!! This was Marvel Pinnacle. Such an emotional rollercoaster and great story telling. It was such joy to watch this reaction with you. Believe me, we all felt those same emotions you experienced. Thanks for the ride and stay safe. 👍
It has been an honor to witness this entire journey
If you want to know what happens to Loki, there is the Loki show.
Glad to see you finally felt grounded enough to watch this one I know you have been having a lot of things going on lately. You are becoming very popular on youtube and people producing mixed reactor videos have been including clips of you as one of the best. That should give your channel a bit of a boost. Most of the people you are being put in with have been doing these movie reactions for several years. If I can make a suggestion though at this stage you might want to catch up on Marvel culture by watching the older movies to introduce yourself to many of the characters you will be seeing in the next films. These would include the Blade series, the older Spiderman ones, Daredevil and Electra, X-men with Wolverine origins and Logan and an old DC movie called Green Lantern (hopefully before Deadpool 2) along with Deadpool 2. This will give you much of the context you need to understand many of the Easter Eggs you have been so confused about. Please let us know where we can send you things but use a post office box or mail forwarding service for privacy and safety.
I think you should do Black Widow next. Btw if you go back to the funeral scene for Tony, the young man alone standing behind Wanda is the boy from Ironman 3 that let Tony hide in his garage and helped him. Also, you should google audience reactions to Cap American picking up Thor's Hammer.
Now you can experience this moment (with a recorded audience): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_klBA8Dvcs
I think I downloaded the wrong Avengers. https://youtu.be/Ngh9RapmOf8?si=bL1okKi0EkW1EYhz
"this is my superbowl" had me laughing hard
Cap really turned into Joe Biden at the end lol Great reaction! It’s a great way to start my Sunday! Thank you E! There are so many call backs in this movie! If you rewatch it, see if you can spot all of them :)
Better than him turning into DonOld you have to admit....
I've been waiting for this one!!!!
A couple of things I'm noticing on a second rewatch: - The man in the support group talking about going on a date is Anthony Russo, one of the directors of many of the MCU movies, including this one - Music in the first half of the movie seems quieter, more hollow. They intentionally scored it for and played it with only half an orchestra, including the opening stinger and then after the snap is undone, the full orchestra returns - I still can't see that the time travel suits were all CGI all the time. The effects by WETA are just top tier - The time travel aspects actually make a lot more sense this time around. Just like everything, the Russo brothers have put a LOT of thought into all the time continuity, which is going to play a big part in the future (hah, time pun). At first I thought they were just improvising it, but it really is all thought out. May not be the most intricate and complex time theory, but it works! - That trumpet section hitting so hard when the portals open, holy fuck turnitup.jpg - And yeah, I think we all cried at the end. Who's cutting onions here?
The guy in the support group asking Anthony Russo's character when he cried is played by Jim Starlin, the creator of Thanos :)
I hope you are doing okay during these though times. I was kinda bored so seeing this fills me with joy.
Eralia, we’re all standing with you! 👏 what a moment.
Peggy Carter had her own show for 2 seasons, and the Jarvis that was with Howard was one of the characters in it. I always loved that, and his appearance here gave people hope that one day, Marvel Studios would start to incorporate the Marvel television series like Daredevil. We're seeing it now and it's super exciting.
😢 it came out while I was in town grocery shopping
We're in the End Game Folks!
The scene where Mjolnir is picked up during the Thanos fight. My theater exploded. Everyone was cheering. Was a good time.
This is by far the best reaction to this movie that I've seen. This one still makes me cry and laugh in all the same places as the first time I saw it. And Quill doesn't get enough hate because now we don't have Nat or Tony
However, according to Doctor Strange, this was the one way to win. 14 million chances, he knew that they needed to fail in that fight. In fact, it was likely instrumental that Quill 'screw up' so that they can succeed in the end.
Regarding Thor bod and, "What was the movie theater reaction to this?". Men laughed. Women cried out in anguish.
Gotta say I'm surprised you watched this one this soon. We know life has been tough and challenging for you for a few weeks and just thought you'd wait to get to this one but so glad it is here. Glad to know you felt up to it. I IS A BIG ONE as you know by now. On my way to watch it now! Im sure you were perched most of the movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 The tears and smile in the preview shot says it all! Now on with the show 🎉🎉🎉
Your comment around the 16 minute mark about those who said not to watch captain marvel is exactly why I say watch them all. People may not like a movie for whatever reason, but they ALL contribute to the overall story line. If she had not watched captain marvel, she would be asking who the fuck is this lady, where'd she come from. She wouldn't have the back story of her and confused. Watch them all and decide individually and don't tell others not to watch something!!!!!!!!
Oh, there is soooo much that isn't gonna be on your bingo card.
Deep breath guys, we can do this together! we totally got this, with 0 tears! Edit: Yhup cried again... god damn this movie hits hard mann
Ohhhh shit! I don’t know if I’m ready for this one! I’m going in!
"box of tissues" good choice
I can't wait to get off work to check this out. I've been eagerly awaiting this installment!
ohmigodohmigod-- ::trips over own fingers to get to DisneyPlus:: I am pre-perched. I have goosebumps. I hope you have Kleenex! EDIT: I wish more than anything that you could have been in an audience when we all lost our collective shit at "Avengers... Assemble."
Also, this movie's reveals were why I would get mildly annoyed when someone would say "Watch 'Black Widow' first!" To me it works much better as a tribute to her post-Endgame, especially since there are movie elements that either spoil Endgame or change how one views aspects at least. I think the reason so many people dump on subsequent phases (including myself at times, I must confess) is because there's just no topping this arc. Though I'd love to see it happen. There are some great TV shows that explore some lingering questions that I won't get into because spoilers.
Been so excited for this one since we started the MCU journey! I watched this one in theaters back when it was released and it was exactly what I needed when I needed it. Thor's arc really resonated with me because at that time, I was at a really really low point in my life. I was very depressed and felt worthless for feeling that way and unable to climb out of it. But when Thor talked to his mom... it was like therapy for me, it just hit so hard. But what hit the hardest was when he called Mjolnir and it came to him then he says "I'm still worthy", felt like I got hit in the chest. But in a good way. It made me realize that all the depression, the anxiety and self-loathing... none of that makes you unworthy. I know that's really cheesy and nerdy but it was a turning point for me and something I'll never forget. I hope it helps you and everyone who needs it, just remember that no matter what, you are all worthy! 🔨⚡️
Fucking fantastic
I've been waiting for this one for so long. I'm excited that you posted it on my day off. I really appreciate your videos & i know it must be even harder to make time for a movie as long as this one, while you have so much going on in your work life. I already know i'm going to love watching you watch this movie. If you ever want a suggestion about a quick movie to watch in the future, I think I have the perfect one for you.
Finally Endgame is here! One of the best Marvel Movies! So excited to watch this tonight! it’s been a blast re-watching Marvel movies and seeing your perspective for the 1st time. Thanks and take care Eralia!
We have all been waiting for this one lol but I doubt I’d be the first to say marvel falls off a cliff from here and I wouldn’t blame you if you took a break if you wanted to continue I 110% recommend daredevil it’s some of the best live action marvel writing and only 50 min episodes so you aren’t committing to long movies
Let’s go!! I’m so excited for this!!
My day just got better! Thanks for the post Eralia! Hope you're doing well.
An era comes to an end. I'm excited to see where we go next! :)
