I just want to thank you for this type of content because I think it helps a lot of people remember the human in all of us. It's real easy to forget with everything going on in the world. For me, I recently decided to transition. I've always known i was trans, but a lot of things lined up & I decided I'm not going to live an unhappy life out of fear & low self esteem anymore. Since I began transitioning, I'm the happiest I've been in decades. I feel grounded, I'm making music again, I'm starting to make more money, and I'm learning a martial art. I think having a serious & solid years long goal is allowing me to let go & be myself, and it's amazing. Thanks again, I appreciate you! 💖

E, I would like to share with you one of my favorites quotes from when I was a little boy and often had only myself to keep me company and rely on... "There is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, Stronger than you seem, And smarter than you think." - Winnie the Pooh A. A. Milne Bonus quote: "Uno Ab Alto" - you already know that one, I'm sure ; )

Regarding auto-pilot, I will say that it has provided significantly more value for me later in life than it would have earlier. Had I been on auto-pilot in my 20's, I would have robbed myself of so much spiritual growth. Nowadays, though, I liken it to discipline, as I have developed enough to be able to discern where and when to be truly present.

Just glad you're still with us. Can I give you a film reaction recommendation? I originally got hooked on your film reaction videos with your John Wick video because of your military background & your eastern European heritage. I would love to watch a reaction video of you watching a movie called Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk. Sending you thoughts of safety & success.

Never suppress your concerns about mental health facing them is much better I have learned this from personal experience. For a large part of my life I was discouraged from seeking the help I needed and as a result I was in really bad shape by the time I did get the help I needed. Do NOT follow my path please. If you need help or support your online friends who are standing by you here I am sure are all willing to stand by you. Those of us who have been through the military life are here for you all you have to do is reach out to those of us in your community here. For everything we do in life there is a personal cost so choose the path that makes you happiest life is far too short to hate your life. there are simple ways to destress yourself. like meditation which I use by blanking out everything around me and concentrating on my breathing and heart-rate slowing both as far as I can as long as I can. This helps me gain more control over myself but this is how I do it personally you have to find your path. Don't worry about what others think because you are going to find that most people in this world refuse to think and a large part of those just can't think. Stick with people who like thinking instead because those who don't don't really have values or value others. You do you and don't try being someone else it doesn't end well. We enjoy watching you because we get to see you being yourself openly.

I've mentioned it before on the Discord but I did/do struggle with some PTSD issues from my previous career as a Cruelty Investigator/Field Supervisor for Animal Control in Atlanta. I'm certainly not equating it to what you may have seen or experienced. There were a lot of bodies though, both animal and human. There was an overwhelming amount of suffering and the feeling that no matter how much you did to stop it it just kept getting worse. Just saying, I'm familiar with the struggle. After 10 years of that, I needed a change for my mental and emotional health. Especially as our team had changed management that chased out many of our good officers to hire unqualified candidates that ended up being fire for stealing from the organization, stealing animals during fieldwork, sexual harassment, etc. So while we were all dealing with the mental and emotional toll of the job, we were watching good officers leave and be replaced by crooks. I was able to stay in the same umbrella career-wise when I became a caregiver at the animal sanctuary out here. Even though I've now moved on after 2 1/2 years, my time here definitely helped to heal my PTSD. The occurrences of it have dropped quite a bit and they aren't as overwhelming as they once were. My advice would be to first find a healthy way to clear your mind whether that be a hobby, nature walks, talking to a friend or counselor, shooting people online (my personal favorite), or whatever. If those activities don't alleviate the issues or at least make them more tolerable, you really should look for something else to do for your career. It's better to earn less, enjoy your life, and live longer than to burn yourself out, suffer, and spiral.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I do agree it is very important for our mental health to sit down and evaluate or re-evaluate our life from time to time. It is so easy to get caught up on the routine and just pushing through our day and forgetting to do this. So thank you for the reminder and for sharing your thoughts. I hope this is mutually beneficial and you get some kind of benefit of comfort from sharing. ❤️ 😊

I've never served myself but I was an Army brat so I grew up in the environment and seen the toll it can take. My dad made a career in the Army and growing up I didn't really understand what it was like for him but as I've grown I've come to appreciate what he did for us. We have conversations about it a lot and I had no idea about the stuff he was going through mentally, he always was just the same fun, cheery dad for us. I almost followed in his footsteps and he didn't discourage it but he did prepare me for what life would be like. I ended up going a different direction and glad I did, took me a while but I'm very happy where I'm at now. Whenever things get tough I just remind myself that me 5-10 years ago would have done anything to be where I'm at now. I'm happy to see that you're hanging in there and I hope things start getting easier for you. I appreciate you taking whatever little free time you have to share what you can with us!

I'm glad I watched this. I spent six years in the navy and towards the end those "hidden costs" really added up for me and I became really disillusioned with what I was doing and that was one of the hardest things I think I've ever had to come to terms with and even once I was out it took me a really long time to find a path. I'm gonna be 30 this year, and I'm only just now discovering who I want to be. I believe in you girl! You can do this!

So good to see you! Post-view edit: A lot of good things said here. And the reminder to do little things, like play the keyboard or doodle, two things I don't do enough of. Just today I had an idea for a story, that happens to resurrect an idea I had abandoned years ago, and now I'm excited about exploring that, which is the first time in a while that I let myself feel that kind of creative energy. It sucks when our circumstances cause us to have to pursue a job that doesn't align with who we are or how we see ourselves. I was very fortunate in my last job, as it not only spoke to my skills, but was also in a capacity where I could feel good about what I was doing, rather than a mindless cog in the industrial complex or whatever, which is what I've also done in the past. Anyway, I had said this before and I'll say it again, even though I'm sure some may be ticked at me for bringing it up again, but if you're genuinely struggling in ways relating to your career (or just in general), I for one will totally understand if you have to put End Game on pause for a bit longer until you're in a better headspace. I wish you peace of mind in the midst of your chaos, and thank you for checking in with us even to this degree.
