I never not enjoy your reactions. This was no different. The thing that stood out to me most though is actually how much about this movie I'd forgotten. Glad we got to review. Interesting fact: Tom Hiddleston originally auditioned to play Thor. Blonde hair and everything. They realized he'd make a perfect Loki during his audition for Thor and that's how we got Loki. Thor (2011): “Tess-Afflack” — her attempt at saying “Tesseract,” like the Aflac duck. “Wormhole butthole” — where she thinks Loki fell at the end. The Incredible Hulk (2008): “I bet he doesn’t have a big green wiener.” (Bruce hiding behind a tree while Betty walks with her new boyfriend.) “The Meat Sweats!” — her nickname for Tim Roth’s character immediately before he becomes The Abomination.

This was better than I remembered! But holy crap the next 4 movies just keep getting better and better. My favorite of Phase 2 is Age of Ultron, but the Russo brothers' work starts with Winter Soldier and they do such an insanely good job, you will feel the shift!!

I hope we get the Captain America WS reaction soon. IDK why my anticipation is so high for her reaction to that film.

MCU’s Phase 1-3 movies set a really high quality bar, making Thor: The Dark World one of my least favorite MCU entries. That said, I can’t wait for you to review Winter Soldier, Guardians, and Ant-Man. Pound-for-pound, I think Ant-Man has the most creative fight scenes in the entire MCU.

You know, people give this movie a bad rap, but its really good, and compared to Iron Man 3, this one actually furthers the plot of the whole "Infinity Saga". Iron Man 3 is just kind of a character development movie for Tony, but this one introduces the Aether and the first mention of Infinity Stones.

Sweet Summer child. Winter is coming. Enjoy it now. These movies play a role in what's to come. The payoff is sweeter than you can imagine. Don't forget the Kleenex.

You should totally do Batman at some point, the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy is the best!

I said it before but there are very few misses with marvel in the infinity saga! They all build on each other. Each has it's own plot line but also play into the bigger plot. Some are not liked much, why I don't know, but they are all good, in the infinity saga. Love love love your energy, insight and eraliaisms. You add something extra with your comments while watching. It's fantastic!

BTW Batman is DC.

You know, that was better than I remember it the first go around. I guess I was also one of those uber marvel nerds disappointed that this new movie again didn't progress the overall story, didn't do the whole super hero +1 thing that's become expected, not just in the movies, but the comic books they're based on as well. They've done a full wipe and reset in those how many times now? Just because everyone has to become so powerful with ever increasing threats and stakes that they're all basically gods and it crease a big disconnect and the stories aren't grounded in every-day reality anymore. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. Your commentary is so on point often, half my responses would be just "Oh just you wait, you have no idea." Anyway, good movie; Loki you bastard; good luck you off-world beast, chasing pigeons through London, living your best life!

Its been such a delight rewatching the mcu with you through this gloomy holiday season, i dont remember if captain america winter solider is next or guardian of the galaxy but i will say you have back to back bangers coming your way

I can't wait until you get to Winter Soldier and Ragnarok. Those are my two favorite MCU movies.

There are four "Thor" movies, but like many of the movies as they go on, there are some crossovers. The third movie, Thor Ragnarok, is one of my favorite MCU movies. It's a stark contrast from this one, which is a good thing. After the poor reception The Dark World received, Ragnarok is a much different movie.

Can't wait till the next one! It's gonna floor you!!!!!

This isn't my favorite of the saga...in fact it's pretty close to the bottom. But even bad MCU is still better than 80% of what's out there. The next movie is gonna set a new high bar for you though. It's one of the better ones. :)

Captain America The Winter Soldier next

Phase 2 intro music is the best of the bunch lol. I love Thor, therefore I love all the Thor stuff. Not every part, but all these are a gift as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just now finding out that the Jane/Richard date scene was original and NOT script-doctored by Whedon. This was wild. Chris is the wholesome version of hilarious. Kat has been and will continue to be my hero. Natalie Portman (full name used out of fear and respect) has and is and will be so awesome. But this scene is so different from the rest of this movie, I will just have to watch it through fresh eyes and ideas. I haven't seen your reaction yet, (it is really late at nite) but I hope you find joy in it. I look forward to the full uncut 112 minute reaction.

wtf it's 130am and I have insomnia so I decided to re-torrent (cause I aint paying for no disney+) the entire Infinity Saga onto my laptop cause I'm in the middle of moving from WA to AZ and don't have my pc set up yet.
