New sub here. And I hope you do watch the blade series
I'm curious, after seeing The Avengers, do you recognize where the final fight between Deadpool and Francis takes place?
Eralia if you see this, I wouldn't mind to be moderator, free of charge. You're doing a great thing here, and the occasional creep making weird comments just lessens the vibes. Let me know if you're interested. I have the bandwidth to do a once over of everything a few times a week at least.
unfortunately even if you are a moderator on Patreon you cannot remove comments from posts, only comments in the Chats section.
Love the reaction!!!! Hopefully you don't think this is much but i checked out your Instagram and talk about boobies, you have Good representation!!!
Jesus Christ dude. Are there no moderators up in here for creeps like this?
The Marvel Comics Universe was created in 1961 by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. Stan Lee has cameos in most Marvel movies. In “Deadpool”, he was the strip club DJ! ALWAYS LOOK FOR STAN! It’s part of the fun! Marvel Comics suffered financial setbacks in the 1990s and sold their characters to different film studios so not all films based on Marvel characters take place in the MCU. Slowly but surely, Disney has consolidated all the properties and brought most of the characters back into the fold. Deadpool is an X-Men character and the 10th film in that franchise. The first Deadpool movie does not take place in the MCU although the most recent one does. I emphatically encourage you to NOT watch the X-Men films in release order!!!!! The following order is recommended instead!!!! It keeps the multiple timelines orderly and ends the saga with two strong entries rather than sputtering out with two entries that were less well-received. RECOMMENDED VIEWING ORDER: X-Men X2: X-Men United X3: The Last Stand X-Men Origins: Wolverine X-Men: First Class The Wolverine: EXTENDED CUT X-Men: Days of Future Past: THE ROGUE CUT X-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool New Mutants Logan Deadpool 2 Deadpool & Wolverine
Missed the after credits scene. But you probably wouldn't have made the connection to Ferris Bueller. Speaking of which. Should add Ferris to your watch list. ❤️❤️❤️
But this should be a good warning to her that all Marvel movies contain a post credits scene and many even a mid-credits one. When the fancy credits turn into the standard white on black marquee.
That was new, watching the movie on the TV with the phone running your commentary. Very Cool
The strong female villain was played by legit badass Gena Carano, a former UFC champion. That's why they let her be a badass and show off some moves in the last fight. I'll second the suggestion to watch the TV show "Firefly". You'll recognize one of the people from this movie in it. Definitely at least watch X-Men, X-Men 2, and Logan before watching Deadpool 2. They are NOT part of the MCU. A different studio held the rights to those movies than the MCU movies. All are very good but X-Men was the weakest just because it was made quite a while ago.
If you haven't seen the show "Firefly" I can't suggest it enough. Only about a dozen episodes and a movie. I think it'd be a great watch.
One of the best Si-Fi series ever in my opinion. Great reaction Eralia!
If you're ever starting to watch more Marvel movies, keep an eye out for the presenter (DJ?) from the strip club.
So fun, Eralia! Yeah, superhero movies reference a lot of things … mostly themselves but with the Deadpool films the nods to pop culture come from almost everything and it’s almost impossible to fully prepare someone with a crash course. Given your reaction to this, you’d probably like the other Deadpool films but there are some big spoilers which you may or may not care about. For Deadpool 2, it means watching Logan … but for that, might be useful to have seen the first 1 or 2 X-Men films … it can be complicated and it’s all up to you on whether you want to start from the beginning (MCU = Iron Man (2010); for the DCU they just rebooted so The Suicide Squad (2021 … not the earlier film from 2016) and the new Superman (2025); the X-Men are from Marvel comics but were purchased by a different studio and don’t necessarily connect to the current MCU but for that primer, you’d start with X-Men (2000).). Also, there are a few versions of Deadpool 2 so whichever you choose, just make sure to let us know at the start and generally good to give a runtime as that also helps with us ensuring we are watching the same as you, Happy to watch however you choose, or choose not, to continue with superhero films. Hope you’re having a great day!
Absolute gold Hahaa. Hope you add Interstellar to your watchlist too 🙏
