When I started, I had a clear picture in my head: a killer mid-charge, knife out, coming straight at you. Simple. Brutal. That was the plan.

Then the community got involved, and the plan fell apart — in the best possible way.

One comment from Jay-Kay changed the whole direction. Instead of the attack, Billy now holds out an ice cream cone to you. The knife stays hidden behind his back. And that smile got worse. Much worse. The strange part is that the moment I stopped sculpting the violence, the piece finally felt like the real Billy Kincaid.

Somewhere along the way this stopped being fan art. It became something we made together. Reading your reactions is what kept me going — the "so creepy," the "best direction for this sculpt," the ideas thrown into the mix (candy bags, spilled candy on the floor — I see you). Those conversations are the reason this version exists. And Jay-Kay, your suggestion was the hinge the whole sculpture turned on. Thank you for that.

About the sculpture

• Billy Kincaid (Spawn)

• 1/10 scale collectible

• High-resolution STL

• Optimized for 3D printing

• Pre-supported files included

In this version, Billy has taken the K3-Myr artifact in Hell — a darker turn, but still the same unsettling character who made him such a memorable Spawn villain.

I didn't want to sculpt the violence. I wanted the moment right before it — when Billy smiles, offers you the ice cream, and almost makes you believe you can trust him.

More coming over the next few days. You're going to want to see it.
