Game Devstory And Content Update

Hi!

I’m continuing my story about the development of games and other size‑difference content.

The post text is below, after the necessary introduction.

My goal is to make game development my main job: at least 375 active paid subscribers.

As of the publication of this post, I have 76 active paid subscribers.

New images can be found in the private folder.

The path to the folder with anime heroines:

The latest working build of “Erindale: The Code of Reality” is also located in the private gallery.

The link to the private gallery can be found in the pinned post on the home page for paid subscribers. See it in the Recent posts.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my endless thanks for supporting my activities to my general sponsors with the nicknames:

• Cimbri

• Jeremiah

• MicroKit Stories

• T-Virus

Sometimes I’m so low on energy that I just want to post a couple of screenshots and write “look how cool it is” without any extra words. But I’m the kind of person who first thinks a hundred times: did I accidentally offend someone? Is there too little content? Or maybe too much? That’s probably why I end up apologizing so much in every post.

Yes, I still get quite a bit of negative feedback via email. And you know what’s the strangest thing? For some reason, I immediately start thinking, “What if I’m doing something wrong?” I guess it’s this lifelong habit of shouldering the blame — it’s just my nature. I’m simply the kind of person who worries a lot about what I’m creating.

But amid all that noise, there’s also light — your kind words about the new 3D game. Honestly? They keep me going. When I read those positive messages in my inbox, I instantly want to rush back to the screen and keep coding. Thank you for that. Truly.

Right now, for the 3D project, I’ve almost finished designing the first location. It looks… well, in my opinion, it’s atmospheric. Next on the plan are moving elements for the platforming mechanics, and then the hardest part at this stage: programming enemy behavior.

I’m sharing screenshots here

At the same time, I’m still working on "Erindale: The Code of Reality". This week I added some new lines of dialogue… I’ll be honest: I wrote them pretty much on the fly. I ran out of prepared script drafts — I only have general ideas left. I didn’t get a chance to properly test everything, so if you run into bugs, please forgive me in advance. I’m trying my best, but speed and quality don’t always go hand in hand right now.

People also often ask me, “Why not use AI to write the dialogues faster?” I did try. Really. But it felt almost like explaining something to a person who’s hearing you through three walls: you say, “I want a warm, slightly awkward conversation”, and in return you get perfectly polished but completely lifeless text. And after a couple dozen requests, the AI starts spouting nonsense. In the end, it’s faster and more honest to write it myself — even if it lacks any literary flair.

There’s another thing to consider: 18+ content. Free AI tools don’t generate it, and I can’t afford paid ones right now. Plus, to be honest, in this game, the suggestive scenes aren’t about passion — they’re about awkwardness. For the protagonist, every such situation is pure embarrassment because he doesn’t even understand how he ended up in it. For the local heroines, though, these scenes are just part of their everyday routine. So I’m trying to focus less on the text and more on the atmosphere and visuals — but even here, I have to be careful: if I start drawing many more arts, development could drag on for years.

The new images I made for the game are variations of older ones, so I didn’t upload them to the private gallery. Instead, I added a few new artworks with random anime characters there.

I know I don’t get everything perfect, and I understand that my pace and style aren’t for everyone. But I do this sincerely, out of love for the process and for you — the ones who stay with me despite the bugs, the gaps in the story, and my endless apologies.

Thank you for staying with me. Your support is what keeps me going when it feels like nothing is working out.

P. S.

I sincerely apologize for the fact that the development is progressing too slowly and many promises made earlier have not been fulfilled. I always do everything I can. But I have to provide for my children, so I spend most of my time working three jobs. It’s very hard. I’m constantly thinking about how to speed up the game’s development. After all, many people criticize me precisely because the development is moving too slowly. Unfortunately, right now I don’t have any ideas on how to make my work faster. I need to work at least at one main job (instead of three) so that I can devote more time to the game. But at the moment, I can’t afford that… Please forgive me for repeating this again. It’s just that those who write to me keep bringing up this topic. Unfortunately, not everyone reads my previous posts.

My name is Helen, and I’m a single mother with two children, working three jobs at different factories.

Right now, I’m working on creating size‑difference content late in the evenings on weekends, because household chores and spending time with my children are a priority.

At the moment, I’m working alone, without any help. All I can rely on is my own strength and enthusiasm.

Please take the above into account and understand why the development is slower than I’d like it to be.

If anyone has any questions, I sincerely ask you to take a little time to read all my previous posts about game development. They contain answers to many questions. I simply physically can’t describe my entire story in every post. Thank you very much for your understanding.

I want to sincerely apologize to those whom I haven’t replied to in messages. I’m sorry, but I really have very little free time. No matter how hard I try to read all the messages, I physically can’t do it. There are too many messages! Most of them, unfortunately, contain hate, but sometimes it’s impossible to tell what they’re about until I open the message.

I read messages from followers on Patreon and Boosty first. Then, as far as possible, I read email and messages on other platforms. Sometimes it happens that I read a message, planning to reply later… but then I forget to do so. And on top of that message, many new messages come in, pushing it far down…

I really ask everyone, please don’t be offended with me if I haven’t replied to someone. I don’t do it on purpose, and not out of malice!

Been keeping my eye on your work. I'm an only child of a single mom, and so I can fully empathize about you working three other jobs on top of making these. If I could support, I truly would... but for now I'll just say you're doing an amazing job despite all that stress. This 3D game looks promising as well. I'm the kind of person that lurks patiently and quietly and I'm sure there's others also quietly waiting. 🙂
