Game Devstory And Content Update

Hi!

I’m continuing my story about the development of games and other size‑difference content.

The post text is below, after the necessary introduction.

My goal is to make game development my main job: at least 375 active paid subscribers.

As of the publication of this post, I have 74 active paid subscribers.

New images can be found in the private folder.

The path to the folder with anime heroines:

The latest working build of “Erindale: The Code of Reality” is also located in the private gallery.

The link to the private gallery can be found in the pinned post on the home page for paid subscribers. See it in the Recent posts.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my endless thanks for supporting my activities to my general sponsors with the nicknames:

This week has been a tough one for me — sorry I couldn't treat you to a full, meaningful post today. There are so many ideas swirling around in my head that they feel like a storm: clashing, intertwining, and gathering them into a coherent story is proving difficult for now. I'll try to sort everything out next week — unless, of course, life throws another unforeseen circumstance my way.

But even amidst all the chaos, I didn't stop: I created a few new artworks featuring anime girls — I hope you'll like them. I also kept gradually adding dialogue lines to the game's working build. I wrote the script the way I know how, pouring everything I felt into it. And yes, I understand that I'm still very far from perfection… Maybe writing will never become my strong suit given my current circumstances — but I'm not giving up. I do everything myself, with my own hands, without any AI assistance (and I'll explain why I made that decision as soon as I get the chance).

The new images and the updated build are already waiting for everyone in the private gallery!

And now — something truly important. You all know that action and dynamics are closer to my heart, and I usually put the story in second place. My first experiment in this genre — the old-school platformer Final Exam — didn't take off. I honestly think it came down to both the outdated graphics and the mechanics… But the thought still lives in my chest: "What if I give this genre another chance — but on a whole new level?"

And so, over the last few months, I've been quietly studying Unreal Engine. I want to try launching a parallel project — a 3D size-difference action platformer. Just imagine: dynamic levels, jumps, strikes, the tension of every single moment — all while keeping my signature artistic touch. Visually, it won't be about photorealism, but about style: cel shading, like the pages of a comic book coming to life. The models won't be high-poly — and, oddly enough, I see that as a plus: it makes it easier to maintain the dynamics and the atmosphere. And between levels, just like before, there'll be my 2D artworks — tying everything together into one cohesive story.

Right now, all I have is the very earliest prototype. It's still completely unplayable, so I won't be releasing a build just yet. But I can show you a few screenshots — though keep in mind, this isn't even the final visual style, just the first steps.

Thank you for staying with me. Your support is what keeps me going when it feels like nothing is working out.

P. S.

I sincerely apologize for the fact that the development is progressing too slowly and many promises made earlier have not been fulfilled. I always do everything I can. But I have to provide for my children, so I spend most of my time working three jobs. It’s very hard. I’m constantly thinking about how to speed up the game’s development. After all, many people criticize me precisely because the development is moving too slowly. Unfortunately, right now I don’t have any ideas on how to make my work faster. I need to work at least at one main job (instead of three) so that I can devote more time to the game. But at the moment, I can’t afford that… Please forgive me for repeating this again. It’s just that those who write to me keep bringing up this topic. Unfortunately, not everyone reads my previous posts.

My name is Helen, and I’m a single mother with two children, working three jobs at different factories.

Right now, I’m working on creating size‑difference content late in the evenings on weekends, because household chores and spending time with my children are a priority.

At the moment, I’m working alone, without any help. All I can rely on is my own strength and enthusiasm.

Please take the above into account and understand why the development is slower than I’d like it to be.

If anyone has any questions, I sincerely ask you to take a little time to read all my previous posts about game development. They contain answers to many questions. I simply physically can’t describe my entire story in every post. Thank you very much for your understanding.

I want to sincerely apologize to those whom I haven’t replied to in messages. I’m sorry, but I really have very little free time. No matter how hard I try to read all the messages, I physically can’t do it. There are too many messages! Most of them, unfortunately, contain hate, but sometimes it’s impossible to tell what they’re about until I open the message.

I read messages from followers on Patreon and Boosty first. Then, as far as possible, I read email and messages on other platforms. Sometimes it happens that I read a message, planning to reply later… but then I forget to do so. And on top of that message, many new messages come in, pushing it far down…

I really ask everyone, please don’t be offended with me if I haven’t replied to someone. I don’t do it on purpose, and not out of malice!
