Update
Well, it would seem my attempt at getting back to posting failed, and miserably too tbh. I didn't even get close to completing something for release, but my physiotherapy did go well, which I guess you could say was a success given that I was trying to motivate myself on that end. I was thinking to set a similar goal for October, but I think it might be best if I didn't as I did really get down on myself at the end of the month for failing to get a chapter anywhere near complete, which is something I'm also trying to avoid. Physiotherapy really takes it out of me, but missing a few sessions just seems to really sets back any progress I make at all, so I really really need to stick with it if I am to get back on my feet (literally, lol).
I did do some exercises on my fingers as well this month, as I've kind of been trying to write by using my index fingers coupled with speech-to-text but man it is so freaking hard to get any kind of rhythm going writing like that. I tried to get about 3 stories going and none of them just flowed in any way at all, so it might really be best if I focus on getting to a place where I can consistently work instead of pushing myself for a one-off release just for the sake of it. 😅
Will do another update when I can, and also try to work on creating some kind of way to communicate more effectively with you guys. A few people have tried to get into contact w/ questions and such, and I really like communicating with you all but Patreon is so massively inconvenient for doing so. Someone had suggested discord to me before, so I might look into getting something set up at some point. If anyone has any suggestions on this front, please feel free to drop me a line.

Hey man, try not to get down on yourself about not writing. Recovery can take a long time and that's alright, if you really want to let the creative juices flow you could probably either record your voice for some ideas/prompts you could look at once you are recovered and can resume writing, but therapy and recovery definition should come first. As for the communication, Discord would probably be the best option, especially since just about everyone has it and is familiar with it. If you ever want help setting something up on there feel free to DM me on here. I'd be happy to help.
Glad to hear the therapy is working. Focus on it. The rest will confer in due time
Get well and please listen to your doctors. they tend to know more about things. Also don't be afraid to look up your medical stuff yourself. That can help you understand it more and might help with the mental strain it causes. Don't worry about stories. You can write when you're better but can't if you're not.
