Update
Doing a short update just to let you all know what's going on; this morning I was contacted by someone via lit asking if I was aware of one of my stories being sold on Amazon. The story turned out to be 'Trapped in a Game', which had been renamed as 'The Game Warden' by an author called 'James Tigray'. The story had been given a neat cover design, character names were changed, and the relationship between Josh/Kelly altered to being step-siblings; but otherwise, it remained a word for word copy of Trapped. I've since reported the matter to Amazon and it has been taken down for review, but I'm still waiting to hear proper confirmation from them that the matter is resolved.
Crazy timing at this though, given that I'm literally about to return to work on Trapped, but hopefully it'll be settled without much of a fuss.
I'll do another update in a few days, as I have been writing something which I was hoping would be completed before the month's end (a surprise for you, my lovely patrons, if you will. Lmao), but this problem has set me back a day. Hopefully I can get my head together and finish it up nonetheless.
Regards,
Kousaka~

These people are some of the biggest scum there are. One of my all time favorite authors from lit stopped writing because some assholes would steal his work. I sincerely hope you get it resolved and that you don't experience the same fate as the other author.
If you don't mind sharing, what's this author's name? I'd love to check out their work :)
Terrible thing to happen but strangely enough, I found myself wondering about that recently, whether someone could easily take all the chapters posted here on patreon/literotica, compile them into a book and sell it on Amazon. Glad you found out and stopped it.
