Update
Ugh, this weekend was terrible. Work on trapped started slowly, then turned outright frustrating. I think I rewrote the opening ten pages about three times before I decided to take a break from it. I thought about working on Banished a bit, but since I've done three chapters this month, I didn't think it would be fair to my work on trapped to go into another one.
So, I ended up taking a crack at a short story. Usual romance stuff. I realized that the nude day competition was live on Lit, so I tried to theme it after that, but I'm not sure if it is really. :S
I worked on it today, and it's at about 23 pages, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it even, as I should get back to trapped, probably by Tuesday for the latest, although if the problems persist, I might have to skip this month's chapter and try to get my mind into a healthier state before trying again. It's still my intention to finish part 10 before the end of the month, though, so let's just see how it goes.
As for part 9 of Banished, it still isn't up on lit, and is sitting there untouched in my pending folder. I'm a little worried, since it'll be six days tonight since I submitted it, and that's in addition to the five days it took before the rejection notice from the first time I submitted it.
My anonymous stalker also sent me three e-mails (through private feedback) detailing the ways in which I suck as a writer, and general human being, and how much better off the world would be if I quit writing. I usually ignore him, but this weekend I was feeling a bit down, and it was an added frustration that I don't think I needed. Not to mention that he downvoted a bunch of my stories, as usual. Ugh. Will never understand why some people dedicate their time to acts of hatred, but sigh.
Working on this short story has been a bit of much needed solace, though, so hopefully it'll help me to get back into the swing of working on trapped.

Dang, really sorry that somebody did something like that to you. Never really understood why people find it compelling just to insult and hurt other people. Just do your best not to listen to people like that, in my opinion, there isn't much to learn from them, keep following your passion, after all you are fantastic at it (and incredibly fast).
Yeah, it's difficult to understand. Especially the sheer amount of time and effort this dude has dedicated to trolling me. :S Like, put that energy into something positive ffs. Lol. It has taught me a lot though, if not from what he says, but rather from the experience of dealing with it. And while it is frustrating sometimes, mostly, it just motivates me to work harder at my stories and writing in general.
look bud, weirdos happen, ive followed your stories starting with trapped some time back and by far the best story ive read to date, of any of the genres i read, dont let people bother you, look around.... everyones fkd in the head these days, i think you should post his email on here n let us troll him a bit

Basically happens to every writer on lit, from those that I've spoken to. I can block all anonymous feedback, but the majority of anonymous feedback is from people who just wanna say they enjoyed what they read, and really, it is just this one person, and he's been at me for years now, so I honestly think he'd still find ways to mess with me, as long as I exist... basically. :(
