Update
Hey all,
Apologies for the delay. As some of you have guessed, work has been hectic for some time. (Many thanks btw for the messages of support. They mean more than you can imagine).
As for progress, things have slowed down because I don’t have any free time at work anymore to work on my own stuff. My department had two departures back in February or so, and while it seemed odd at the time that there were no prospective replacements, now we’ve heard that management has no intention of replacing them, which is ridiculous because we were short staffed to begin with and the rest of us are pretty near to tearing our hair out from the overwork. I have been looking for alternatives with respect to employment for some time now, but it seems I really need to start considering any options because there is no way I can cope with another year like this (much less keep writing through it). My contract is up for renewal in September, so I have until then to figure something out.
Things aren’t bleak on all fronts though, as what writing I’ve managed to do has been really good. Ideas I was previously stuck on all seem to be coming together, and I’ve worked out most of the problems that had been plaguing me for a bit. From what I can tell, I should be able to release part 6 when 7 is done, and I think it’s about halfway there, but I have returned to 6 several times in the past month and added in about 20 or so pages of stuff. It’s a relief, I think, being able to write knowing I can go back and fix stuff that might have messed things up later on. What I really want to do as well is go back to parts 1 and 2 to do the same, but I know I realistically won’t be able to until it’s all done (and honestly I’m not sure any readers care about those sections being fixed as much as I do). :S
Will do another update when I can, and hopefully by then there will be much better news.

EDIT* Ohhh, I almost forgot. I’ve gotten in contact with an artist (seriously talented too) who seems pretty interested in illustrating ‘Trapped’. If it works out, then an illustrated version of the story might be a possible patron reward in the future. Let me know what you think of this idea!

Okay, I am sorry but I am going to revoke my membership. I don't want to seem like a dick, but we have been waiting for months and months and have only gotten like 2 or 3 updates over that time... I wouldn't be so upset if you just gave us progress reports each month or something, but we hear literally nothing from you over that time. If you get back into the swing of things, I may come back, but personally I'm tired of waiting. Please don't ignore us, inform us.
Is there still any content coming mate?
Thank you for the update. I am very sorry to hear that management is screwing your department over like that, but corporations will be corporations of course. Just a simple request, in the future please make more updates like this, they don't have to be long thought-out updates like this, just some small few sentence ones that let us know you are still working on the story and that you haven't abandoned the project. Good luck finding a new job, and I hope it ends up being something which allows you to do what you love at your leisure.
