The Restaurant: Side B

Hello guys,

I want to share an important decision about the game.

A few days ago, I asked Demon Sound to create another song for Valeria. I briefly told him what I was planning for her, but I didn't tell him everything.

As usual, he ended up creating another masterpiece. But this time, there was something in the lyrics, something I didn't exactly tell him, yet it was there. The lyrics had 4 or 5 different layers of meaning, all totally related to the story I'm going to develop and the big plot twists I haven't told him about.

As surprised as I was, he was just as surprised and excited because it fit perfectly.

This is why I decided to rename the game to The Restaurant: Side B.

This is going to be the first game of a trilogy.

The Restaurant: Eject

In case you guys don't know, Side A is the first side of a cassette that plays the main tracks, and Side B is the side you flip over to play the other half. Usually, it often includes bonus tracks, alternate versions, and songs that weren't the main focus.

Of course, there's a huge metaphor here.

Side B means a lot of things. Right now, I can't explain them because they're massive spoilers. When we reach certain events and you listen to this song again, it'll hit completely differently. And the longer you think about the lyrics, the more you'll realize how deep they are. It'll definitely mess you up.

Side B will be unclear, and full of unanswered questions. You'll know a lot, but you still won't know enough.

Side A is where you'll get the answers. Everything will become much clearer, but there will be some answers you'll regret knowing.

Eject is going to be the real blast of the story. The biggest breaking point.

Side B will take a long time to finish. I just hope I live long enough to finish all three games.

I don't know if I'm going to be successful, but what I do know is that I'll do my absolute best.

The music, the story, the characters, and the overall vibe are what motivate me to keep moving forward. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend my valuable time making this game at all.

I hope it'll become something you guys truly enjoy.

I specifically separated the main story from the sexual content because I don't like mixing the two.

The main story is meant to make you feel something, to give you goosebumps, especially with these epic tracks. Sometimes, it'll even make you cry.

Demon doesn't know this, but every song he creates fuels my creativity and inspires me to add more and more meaningful details that make the story even deeper.

Of course, I'll add plenty of sexual content as the main story progresses. I'll keep everything as sexy as possible.

The story is entirely my own. Every event and every character in the game comes from my imagination, and it's still an evolving story.

When I first started making the game, I only had a very simple idea. I didn't have this epic story in mind. But as I kept developing it, I realized I could do better, create a much stronger story, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I want to create something mind blowing and satisfying for the players.

Valeria is a very special character to me. She's my first original creation, but she means much more than that, and I want to keep it that way.

Zoey is just as important. Their journeys will be very different, but they're both part of the same story.

Lastly, I want to say that I don't follow the negativity. I don't play their games, and their rules don't apply to me. I create my own rules, my own game.

They can trash my game in every way possible or insult me wherever they want, but I'll create something golden that'll shine even in the mud.

After I released the last update, I was demoralized, and I even considered stopping development of the game. There were people constantly insulting me, spreading lies about the game's content, and more. I have a feeling I'll experience the same thing again, just like I have with every previous update. I can't stop the toxicity. It'll always exist.

But I've learned not to focus on them. I'm focusing on you.

I asked if you wanted me to stop, and you told me to keep moving forward. So that's exactly what I'll do. I've been working on this game every single day since the last update without taking any breaks, and I'll keep doing so.

Right now, I'm about halfway through the '80s story. I'm just making sure everything is perfect. Perfect, because that's what you deserve.

My game may never be at the top of the charts, or even anywhere close. After all, games with a male protagonist will always attract the biggest audience.

But if my game ends up at the top of your list, that'll be more than enough for me.

Your list will be my reward.

I hope we can reach that point together.
