I counted today. It is less than three weeks until September

This room has been my whole world for years. The same wall where the paint is peeling, the same window, mom's voice through it. I used to fantasize about leaving every single day

Now I keep catching myself memorizing things. Like my brain already knows it is ending

Weird thought I had in the shower: when I move, this page will be the only thing that stays exactly the same. Same people, same messages, just me in a different room on a different continent
