π©΅ July Highlights ππΏπ§ββοΈ
.
Sam celebrated his birthday, which naturally meant plenty of presents, good food and probably a little too much wine. ππ·β€οΈ
.
Winter has been suspiciously kind to us. We've had so many sunny days that we've squeezed in countless MCC beach picnics. π₯πβοΈ
.
The team may also have consumed a slightly unreasonable amount of beers and fried chicken this month. πΊππ
.
We escaped on lots of beautiful little hiking adventures πΏπ₯Ύβ¨
.
I finally had a chance to reorganise my cupboards β¨
.
My vintage camera collection has continued to grow, but the absolute highlight was receiving a surprise parcel from the sweetest elderly gentleman I bought a camera from months ago. Inside was a beautiful box camera that's nearly 100 years old. π·β€οΈ I can't wait to share the photos once I've put a roll through it.
.
I climbed back onto a horse for the first time since my accident, and I'm so happy to say it went really well. π΄β€οΈ
.
We spent a few wonderfully indulgent days wandering around Cape Town's museums, and eating far too much naughty food ποΈπ°β¨
.
We helped Bonnie get everything ready for her new home and had a braai amongst the boxes as a house warmingπ‘π
.
Sam has officially perfected his labneh recipe, so we now have enough homemade labneh to feed a small village. π₯£
.
We played pool more times than I can count.β€οΈ Sam and I are completely obsessed. One day we'll have a house with a room big enough for our own table... and who knows, maybe there'll even be naked pool tournaments on CB. π
.
One of my favourite personal wins this month has been completely overhauling my editing workflow. Everything feels smoother, more organised and so much more enjoyable. I genuinely love what I do so much that I have to keep reminding myself to actually stop working, sleep and occasionally relax. πΈβ¨

July was full of sunshine, little adventures, beach days, good food, wonderful people and the kind of memories that make ordinary weeks feel incredibly special. β€οΈ

Here's to August. π₯β¨
