⚡️ Sharp Tongues & Silver Comebacks 🗣️

Way back in the day, I lived briefly up in the Northeast. Not long enough to lose my R’s or start ordering grinders without thinking twice, but long enough to tell a Boston accent from NYC, Philly, Jersey, and that Maine “ayuh,”, and long enough to get hooked on that dry, razor-edged wit. 🥵

Say what you will - New Englanders (and the broader Northeast crowd) can come back ten-fold on just about anything. And don’t even get me started on St. Paddy’s Day ☘️ - those guys are absolute pros! One sideways glance and you’re getting verbally dismantled before you can finish your 🍻.

I’d never fully appreciated that kind of humor until I was living it. It cracked me up then, and it still does. I’m not from up there, so I’m wondering what other wicked Northeast one-liners I’m missing.
