Here’s an exchange I had with Cody Garbradnt during his last visit to NJ. I’ve been working a lot on this takedown series and I works really well for me:
-acquire lead side overhook
-inside reap, as you commit step foot behind base leg
-ankle pick
Cody scrambles back to his feet because he’s incredibly quick but I hold the leg after and look to throw a big jumping roundhouse in case he checks. Enjoy the chaos!
