One thing I really loved about Ohrid was how peaceful everything felt 💕💕

The city is quite old and you can definitely see that it hasn’t had tons of renovation or huge new investments. Some places look a little worn out, but somehow it gives the city its own character.

We even saw some people from our boat tour for coffee. The girl was Ukrainian and the guy was German, and they had come to Macedonia for a wedding.

Apparently people also come here for proposals, and honestly, I can see why 👀

The lake, mountains and sunsets make such a beautiful background.

It’s definitely a different kind of trip from the huge cities I usually love. No crazy crowds, no constant noise, just slow days and beautiful views 🌅

I think I needed a little bit of that after all the travelling
