I swear wherever I go, I always manage to find something I like 🤣

Macedonia was no exception. We stayed in Ohrid and I really liked the atmosphere there. It’s such a calm, peaceful little city with this beautiful lake right next to it!

And the lake surprised me.

I hadn’t properly swum in a lake for years because the last one I remember from my old memories was basically a mud bath 😂 You’d climb out and somehow end up dirtier than when you went in.

Lake Ohrid was the complete opposite. The water was incredibly clear, there were tiny little fish swimming around and everything looked so peaceful 🌊🐟

We walked around, went to one of the beautiful churches and just enjoyed the views.

I usually prefer busy cities, but I have to admit, a few quiet days by a lake were actually really nice💓💓💓
