Progress report - July #2

Hi! I'm here to share Houses of Heart's current progress. I'm nearing the end stages of the pre-editing stage(where content is generated). The editing stage tends to go much faster than the initial phase.

In summary:

That being said, not all scenes are made equal. Sometimes, one scene may be as large as 5/6 combined, sometimes less. It depends on the gravity and purpose of said scenes. The first episode will contain a few primary shoot-esque scenes, with a rich amount of choices and variability, not unlike the first season.

This first episode will be the largest release compared to all past releases. I estimate at least 2000 renders for the beta version, and a few more for the eventual full release.

I'm going to assume that beta testers have played Game of Hearts before diving into the beta version. Scene/Story-wise, I consider the Beta almost complete. Some features are missing, but they aren't the core of what the first episode is.

I said before that a release may come this month; that is no longer plausible. It turns out the first episode is much, much longer than I initially calculated. I need a few more weeks to flesh things out, and animations take a whole lot of time.

Our Discord server welcomes Brie as its personal assistant, thanks to the hard work of the server's admin. She doesn't have too much to do at the moment, though.
