I want so badly to go to the night market, oh my goodness! Brennan has painted scene after amazing scene yet again for everyone to play in with so much enthusiasm, and the music always ties it together. I can never praise Lou, Erika, and Aabria enough for bringing so much relatability and fun in their role-playing! Eursulon already building a report with the community is DELIGHTFUL, he deserves to be excited about things again! Also I cackled out loud at one point 🦊🍲 iykyk

Hearing the music of the Citadel take off as they flew down to Havarward made me feel like I was hearing the Harry Potter OST for the first time. Full body goosebumps! Every time I think the music cannot possibly hit harder, here we are. Taylor, hats off to you!

Hey Folx, just a heads up: sometimes the voice modulization makes it really bad for accessibility for Hard of Hearing and some others too. This particular ep with Suvi remembering what Steel said (at least I think that's what was going on), was incredibly difficult to understand. I have a touch of industrial deafness so I would assume there may be other people that need more accessible content.

Really enjoyed experiencing they majesty of the citadel this ep gang!! Not going to lie that interaction with the living spell really confounded me, I feel like I would have been one of those washout first years can they feel pain, sadness, fear? what if one wanted to leave? would they even be allowed? Very much the case of do spells dream of magical sheep!

Since the Sound and Music bonus ep I've paid a lot more attention to the sound design in this show, and it's been so cool to unlock what feels like a third dimension of appreciation for the show. This episode I listened to it twice; once to pay attention to the story, and the second time to pay attention to how the music told the story. Obviously this episode was an insane sonic painting of the Citadel, but my favorite tiny thing I noticed was when Suvi was calling their ride down to the surface and was looking back at her friends, there was a little warm piano riff playing. When she realized she'd hit the wrong button it dropped down an octave to sound a little wonky, like "uh oh, oops" and then once she corrected it took off again. Such a tiny detail but the way it set the tone was so charming. Almost vaudevillian haha. This episode was so lovely, great job guys.

All I have to say is TAYLOR. FREAKIN. MOORE. The music and ambient sound effect work were insane this episode.

As someone who has perfect hearing and is listening on noise cancel headphones, I couldn’t understand a word of what was said in the flashback moment around 44 minutes. I think the vocal effects were too strong. Otherwise amazing episode so far though!

The combination of Brennan's words and Taylor's music is indecribably perfect. Also, I cannot begin to fathom why but I am firmly convinced that Steel killed Suvi's parents.

I agree we should use silent image to make positive or scary motivation for running. Running is not fun by itself.

When is Suvi's court Marshall because that seems really important and ominous for such a fun episode.

I don't know why but "How does Fox know how to gamble?" "Well... We've gambled before" is such a funny Lou improv moment 😂. I played out the scenario in my head and I need more gambling adventures with Fox.

The environmental sound effects both on the voices and just the ambient sounds were so good here!! Really brought out the cool worldbuilding I'm falling in love with.

The sound design this episode was just astonishing, you’ve outdone yourself Taylor! Between that and Brennan’s ability to live through location descriptions, the team adding to and picking up on cues - I want to visit the citadel so badly!

Missing that last note of the opening into that citedel theme was absolutely astounding Taylor you're godly

Changing the primary motif in the opening took me for a ride. Thank you so much for playing with my musical expectations, this is the best show I've heard or seen to in a long time. The world building is so organic, and the characters feel so lifelike. Thank you for your work everyone!

Trivia for Brennan if he finds his way here sometime, but in describing the semi-transparent baker, that ability to see the outer rim while it gets more transparent toward the center of mass is called the Fresnel effect, named after a dude who made lenses for giant lighthouse lights!
