[PUBLIC EPISODE] The Wizard, the Witch and the Wild One: ep005 Water, Water, Everywhere
Turns out a fox is good for some things after all. The killer is caught. A volunteer steps forward with a break in the case. A friendship is bent. Another door of vines opens. Another volunteer steps forward. Further down and deeper still, our work is not yet done.
We recommend listening to Worlds Beyond Number (and the Fireside Feed) on a "podcatching" app like Overcast or Pocket Casts. For more help getting the right audio in the right place, check out our friendly instruction guide.

Doing a relisten and wow it’s heartbreaking about Ghost and Flicker. And how Ame clocked sending her to the citadel was a valid and huge concern
“Worried ghost will be made into a tool” now that’s a real wild one
Relistening to this episode and "how much worse off do you think Ghost could be with the Citadel?" goes HARD
Man, I'm doing my register and holy shit that's a gut punch
I know all the hedge mages we’ve met so far have been pretty sinister but I would love to see one played in a future one shot! I love Brennan’s description of clawing magic from the trash and refuse of wizards
I’m confused on why Suvi is so confrontational with Ame, Ame was closest too grandma wren and she’s being nice to everyone after something horrible happened!
YOU KNOW ERICA I REALLY APPRECIATE THE COMMITMENT BUT YOU DIDN'T NEED TO GO QUITE SO HARD ON THE WRETCHING BIT
Kudos to the cast for being able to role play these confrontations. Each uncomfortable interaction between Suvi and Ame seems to stack on the other. I feel the tension building. It’s both horrible and enthralling.
Listening to this episode was so good; the hubris and hypocrisy of Suvi made my hair stand on end. I wanted to punch her so badly. Especially how she goes from “don’t tell me how I feel” to telling Ame what she’s saying. What a great character I cannot wait to see her finally hit a brick wall.
