Heh, all this time later and I'm here as a first time RPG listener, have been inspired to try a game myself, and my first Patreon. You guys are awesome. Seriously in a world where there's so much to make us sad and anxious, this has been a true breath of fresh air.

Was wondering if there was a best place to buy the TTRPG Wickedness mentioned in this Fireside? When I search, a bunch of different sites come up, and I’d like to make as direct a purchase as possible.

Without having watched past this episode, I am hoping that some spells such as tiny hut, magnificent mansion, maybe dimension door, would act like windows to the witches sanctum, and open up interactions/mechanics from the sanctum, proportional to the spell used to access the connection.

When it comes to the phenomenal response of this launch, I think you timed the release in a way to capture both the dimension 20 fandom and the critical role fandom. Having Come after EXU: calamity, you have arguably the two biggest actual play communities who have absolutely fallen in love with brennan and abria's dming styles and abilitiesas well as the phenomenal play that you see from Abria, Brennan, and Lou. I can't wait to see the Witch class! So much of what they discribed is what i want in a character. I've been playing a "witch" in a 5e game with a reflavored Artificer to make tokens and charms, using an infusions for a familiar and feats for druid spells. And the first acrion i took in the campaign was to magically fortify our homebase, like the ribbon ability they were describing. I'm so interested to see their finished class.

Really wasn't a big fan of the random uhh... advertisement in Ep 2. I understand it's promoting other content from Fortunate Horse, but it was not expected and imo definitely should not have been in the legit middle of the session.

Just realized I hadn’t actually listened to ep 1. My app (apple podcasts) had marked it as played. I got all of the prelude children’s adventure up to where the crew splits. Bit jarring to come into ep 2 and have the reveal at the beginning of a demise! Will we ever be simplifying this into 1 feed for patreon people? I think that or a listen order list for starting would be a great tool. With all the repostings to the main feed of stuff released earlier for Patrons it can be a bit muddling

As a practicing witch, I highly enjoyed listening to the creation of this class (that does exist in other ttrpg realms but not as balanced) & how y'all mixed together the mythological, folkloric, & actual ways many of us live through/with the Unseen & Seen worlds. I also cannot believe that Taylor has never scored music in that way before. Because it's absolutely amazing and makes the experience so immersive.

Second comment. I am now worried for Erika. Thinking back this is the second time I have seen a character of Erikas potentially put the needs, wants, and feelings of others ahead of their own. The first time of course was when they portrayed Danielle Barkstock in 'The Seven'. I'm only worried because I know that sometimes actual play players tend to add a bit of themselves to their characters. It could, however, very much be a chosen character trait, and I'm worried for nothing. Regardless, I'm sending virtual hugs to the whole cast.

I haven't had a story that I connect to as much as this one. As a pagan, the witch stuff is gold. As a therian, the 'being stuck between nature and humanity' hits so hard. It's all so deep and I love every second of it. Every time listening to the stories that Brennan DMs it kinda feels like narrative therapy. It's beautiful, thank you. Hi all, I really love this project and so far with the Children's Adventure it's pure storytelling and so beautiful. I just wanted to ask, could you confirm on the Patreon feed when main episodes are published? I've only just seen on the FAQ that you need to use other services for the main episodes. I've been listening directly through Patreon as the RSS feed doesn't work with Spotify, and I didn't know until now that the main adventure had started up - just gonna start listening to it in a second. Just a little separate text update to confirm when new episodes are released would be super appreciated, if possible.

I gotta say, I totally related to Taylor's Rose. I'm one of those "never podcasted" folks and the storytelling combined with Taylor's wizardry in that first sequence *sold* me immediately. I can only imagine what it would feel like to be someone with a talent for doing that kind of stuff putting out a great product and then seeing the reactions come in. There is something so distinctly beautiful and meaningful about a formative story that can sustain you throughout your life. Miyazaki films and Neil Gaiman novels are a delight to return to over and over again and indescribable to experience the first time. Hello, one and all! I am so grateful that I got into Dimension 20 at the end of last year. It was so wholesome, whimsical and genuinely filled with love of the story. All the dynamics playing off each other, the deep understanding subverted into a class act of communication. You guys are so important for the world ( beyond numbers) of storytelling. This is certainly not my first Podcast, but I did make a Patreon for you guys. Loving the world so far, the energy thats being created is so strong, and I already know Lou’s character is made for my interest and the mix of inspo for Spirit World seems so cool. Also! Ive always liked playing Custom Witch classes, bc thats the kind of gal I am, and very excited for how you’ve described this one to go. When I do DM, I like to think about the social rules of society- never thought of it as the ‘lie’ but that really hits me.

This is not a comparison because Taylor is fantastic in his own right, but hoo boy do I have to zero in on the drawl because his and Brennan’s tones are ridiculously similar when they’re just talking normally in lower register. It’s very easy to distinguish them when they get excited about things, thank goodness. Also, the mention of dancing around spoilers for future episodes makes me cry, what do you mean I have to wait every other week for several months to understand these references 😭

I love these types of conversations to just hear them chat enthusiastically about their works, but also to ground them as people just passionate about their storytelling. Yes they are celebrities in their own rights, actual titans of the ttrpg space, but still just people who love what they do. Listening to the genuine appreciation coming from the group just makes them even more endearing. Also, from a film/tv production person, love hearing the shoutouts to your crew. It’s always nice to hear appreciation for the people that make the thing happen, so thank you for being cool people in that way!

i don’t really believe in ghosts myself, but i kind of can’t believe that none of them do? (except for maybe Lou based on his hesitations😂) like idk, especially Erika, like they were giving me ghost believer vibes right up until i saw their episode of Dirty Laundry when they revealed they didn’t believe in them, and now to hear that Brennan and Abria don’t as well? I’m just wowed by them all being able to still surprise me after 2 years of being obsessed lol

I still can't be sure that Taylor isn't Brennan (they sound the same to my ears and I'm too lazy to interrogate this) but I'd love for a reveal in the main episodes for Taylor to be a guest
