The three children finally meet, clashing in their first encounter. Fear quickly turns to curiosity and the girls agree to help Eursulon in his pursuit of honor. Meanwhile night, and all its dangerous mysteries, encroaches.

Finally listening to the children's adventure after having listened to WW&W three times. It does not disappoint. Adorable.

As a die-hard fan who cried the first time I listened to the ep where Eursalon realizes he's become wayshadowed, it is absolutely diabolical listening to *this* episode and all the delights (and foreshadowing) Brennan lays out of the mortal world, then hearing that Nat 1 wisdom save as Suvi "attacks" him with Rosemary and Pine soap -- which becomes the recurring scent of Eursalon, the symbol of his wayshadowing, but ultimately also the smell of his magic. It's just so brilliant, and I am endlessly floored by these creators.
Absolutely love this story. Some of my favorite story tellers just completely embracing an amazing setting.
I only want to listen to DND-based narrative podcasts where kids are being kids from now on 🥰

The dice really do tell the story. What would have happened if Lou had rolled well after Eursulon was washed? They knew they wanted Eursulon wayshadowed, so it would have happened eventually, but the dice were perfect.
been listening to the children series as i'm preparing myself for the finale. really wondering who jasper is, and i'm guessing that that's the citadel asking grandmother wren for her help with some magical task. i wonder just how much "in-the-sphere" wren was about the citadel's goals with spirits

This story so far is like a warm hug, it felt like a bed time fairytale story before bed and has myself feeling like a child alongside all of these characters. So special.
The mix of masterful storytelling along with this gorgeous music is just so perfect.
I’m SO glad I joined the patreon!! Getting to hear Suvi, Eursulon, and Ame meet as little kids is absolutely worth it, especially after the (spoilers!!!!) argument of the last episode! 😮💨❤️
Eursulon’s music around the 23:00 minute mark just hiittssss! (It also lowkey reminds me of some of the reflective music from Okami if anyone catches my vibe?) But uuugghh it’s so deeply soft and vulnerable and whimsical and hopeful and pure all from some ambience and wind instrument sounds, so beautifully constructed. I just love it!!!
I love how Eursolon is more or less becoming... domesticated? Not like an animal but the way humans made homes for themselves and how we developed once we ate cooked meals instead of raw ones... I love that so much. I commented the same on the last episode but with the food and the new "rules" like cleaning up he is going through what some humans go through who get lost in the feywild. Eating their food means you're bound there. And now Eursolon is bound to the girls and Grandma Wren.
I love when Brennan brings up the smell of rain in the episode. Aabria doesn't know the word for it yet but she has it as a significant character element in Critical Role Calamity which is such a cool unintentional easter egg, and shows how far back this was recorded. I yelled out the word before Brennan said it cause I was so excited.

It's a reference to the Wizard of Oz and the Wicked Witch of the West losing her shoes after she dies under Dorothy's house, I believe.

i’m rewatching this and the eursalon exciting soundtrack feels like liquid heroine in my veins, it literally gives me euphoria chills and makes me feel like a kid at disney for the first time again. To steal Brennan’s bit, Holy shit, taylor moore, ya nasty.

I'm hurting for a friend today and so this was nice to listen to. My girlfriend said she really felt the naivety of childhood when Suvi went to bang on the window.

Loving the story
I love the word Petrichor but it does not sound like it means what it means.
The way that these children’s episodes is like a soothing balm for my soul. They feel SO good. That’s the best, when content something you’re consuming physically ~feels~ good.
This campaign has been such a wonderful back drop to write to and has filled me with so much whimsical inspiration! I am also in desperate need for all of the music to be either on Spotify or made available to download.. Eursalon’s theme is magical beyond words!

this is just. so phenomenal and magical already, I love all of the seeds for bonds and arcs that are being planted here <3 (I will say that the transcripts have quite a few errors though, which might be an accessibility issue in the future!)

It’s hard to express in words how much I needed these today
"Crazy fucking time fairy nonsense." Very proud that I successfully called Eursolon's race (at least in terms of mechanics) just from the preview hints. I am *really* loving the balance of levity and weight they are pulling off almost perfectly in every single episode. We go from silly to 'oh, shit, of course a child would think that...' heartbreak without it feeling like it comes out of nowhere.
it feels to me like everything has so much depth but is also open to imagination (and yeah, firbolg would make alot of sense for the character, they have a connection with the fae and all, also they are big)
