Birds do hit windows but outdoor cats are a genuine ecological menace and anyone who keeps an outdoor cat is hurting not only the other animals in the area but also the cat itself. Indoor cats live longer and healthier lives. If you love cats at all you should not let yours outdoors

I've been listening to this podcast since 2023, and this episode has one of the most chilling endings I've ever listened to. NOW I GOTTA WAIT TWO WEEKS?!?
Oh my God, that was such a good episode, Lou Wilson wow. Also, I really love the sound design in this episode. I haven’t been that drawn design since some of the men in Black stuff.
Could we get a transcript of the opening monologues? I love the effect of the voice distortion, but it's really challenging to make out what is being said.
I think that’s the point. We are hearing records of a past time that are partially distorted. Like finding eroded Mayan structures in the forest. We find these recordings eroded.

(1) she’s not going to. (2) She’s seen the movies, so at least some of the time she’s being intentionally obtuse. (3) At this point, it’s a running joke and a choice I respect.
Ooh, what does it mean to be an apostate to a faith grounded in the belief that disconnection is the only sin? I can't wait to find out. Also, this show is so good, y'all. Be proud.
Also, and I wasn't gonna tell this story but now I am: My teen camp counselor at the baptist youth camp had recently (too recently to be replaced) completed her conversion to Catholicism. She was very cool about not making us follow some of the more stupid rules, and she let us listen to the forbidden local pop station. Plus, she had a belly button ring. Sometimes apostates are helpful (and hot). Just sayin'.
