I'm sorry but how terrifying is fight-mode XL-ZL? The description of the sudden switch between bright, colourful and kind of silly to blacked out lights, his eye screens rolling back to reveal the killer lasers? Jesus! I loved it, especially with all the surrounding lights flickering and that matter of fact, calm delivery of that bone chilling "be not afraid"
LOVED the dynamics between everyone this episode!! and hearing chee's debate over sticking her neck out for Z was soo interesting. hearing XL-ZL's file literally FLASHBANG the assassin was so funny 😭😭😭 and CHILLS during his first murder of the series... such a good episode

Absolutely loving the different sides of the PCs we got a glimpse of this episode! I'm looking forward to seeing how things develop after this latest complication. It really felt like we're getting a good first look behind the characters' public faces into things that have been hinted at in earlier episodes or Firesides.
After all of my worry for XL-ZL and how he is tooled out re: defense, please understand my glee at hearing about the LASER EYESSSSSSS 🫶✨️🤸🏻♀️🎉
I don't have the words for what I want to express, but I feel like Aabria has such a visceral storytelling style. She's so comfortable with conflict and how a moment should impact a character (either emotionally or bodily). I always wind up thinking, "oh, of course that's how that feels" when she describes a situation. Chee was so quick and believable with the would-be assassin. We got to see some fancy footwork while also balancing the fact that they've been hunted multiple times by multiple people in a very short time frame. There is no patience left. Z putting his resources to use for the safety of the other two was nice. I think it will be interesting to watch the groups relationships with one another begin to transcend the transactional (in that way of, like, how you start with splitting or switching off a restaurant bill and over time it evolves into a very loose understanding that it'll probably all come out in the wash). These three desperately needed some rest, and I'm glad they got it. Excited to see the off-season space resort moon.

I was excited to hear it mentioned too, but the more I think about it, I’ve never heard it used as a lack of bandwidth/having no fucks left to give. No spoons left usually means zero energy or ability to do/accomplish anything more. Like I’m on the couch the rest of the day. I think it was misused here

It's very funny to me how close the planet "Avahna" is to "Havana" the city in Cuba, which absolutely fits the trope of "beautiful place to spend a vacation while also hiding out from people trying to kill you." The players said "We need a rich-people hide-out where Z can use his credit cards, but where we wont be in danger, so give us Aspen, but in Hawaii," and Aabria said "bet."
