I have a trip coming up in a couple of months that involves some looooong ass flights (20-30+hrs) . So I'm currently using ALL my will power to not listen to these episodes right now because I want to save them all up so that they can save me on those flights. I know it's going to be worth it, but delayed gratification is haaaaarrrrrd 😭😂🫠

That was amazing!! I absolutely LOVED How Chee and Zee turned the combat into a convo!! lol XL-ZL with the code-shifting and the mechanical scrambling was hilarious!!!!

This is so fun! I really enjoy the way we are learning information in this campaign. Something I love about Aabria's style is the way she lets some failures temper previous successes. Who among us has not snatched defeat from the jaws of victory? And, ugh, Chee's shit is getting rocked by rich space assholes. Ain't that just the way. Ze'Doven is such a little princeling. It will be fun to watch him become a real boy. I'm also excited to figure out what him repeatedly watching those planets collide was about in light of political dynamics that include shit like sanctioned kidnappings. At a certain point, it's probably hard not to feel like life is mostly just happening at you. XL-ZL scares me so much right now, because he (they? it? is this robot canonically boy? I can't recall) thinks so much like I do and I'm worried his whole thing is going to wind up being some kind of torturous consequence of humanity's making (either via initial creation or the recent disruption of the hive). Like, are we a genuinely shiny, happy robot, or are we a Shiny Happy Robot™️? ⚠️SPOILERS Critical Role C4⚠️ Specifically, I keep thinking about the way the halfling shaper seems to have been tricked into unbeing over on critical role. Like, could it have been that humanity reasoned the robots out of their autonomy or something? ⚠️/SPOILERS Critical Role C4⚠️ If so, that could lead to, like, the psychological horror of thinking and doing ego-dystonic shit all the time in the name of a "higher good." We haven't really seen that happening yet, but we also don't know XL-ZL very deeply. That said, I could just be projecting HARD because your girl is an athiest with scrupulosity OCD.
