I think they’re commissioned by the WBN crew! And since there’s been several scenes animated in the same style by the same artist, I am desperately hoping they’re going to announce a kickstarter soon to get a fully animated adaptation because it would be SO GOOD!!

my goodness, this was utterly superb
I understand why we cant just immediately have a full animated version, but these little treats are sooo wonderful and really help me as someone who struggles to picture scenes in my head sometimes, especially when it comes to setting and scenery. Brennan does so much work to paint these vibrant pictures of the world, and these animations really help as im going back a listening again when my brain is struggling to process it visually :)

The other thing that hit me is just how wild of a couple minutes that whole scene is. 🤣 When you’re listening to Erika, Lou and Brennan talking through every moment, you forget that it’s happening really fast! It’s been such an honor seeing the story all the way through and getting to enjoy special treats like this one. Hoping to see many more!

Fucking literal goosebumps from seeing Suvie at the end, I forgot how cool it was that during this entire sequence, Indri was discovering not that Ame had stolen the wand, but that Suvie had stolen the knowledge of the stars and was already long gone. What an amazing animatic! I don't know if a full series could ever be feasible, but wow it sure does seem that animation would unlock even more potential from this already incredible story.
