From Sky to Sworn: Suvi's Letters, part 1
[SPOILER ALERT for Arc 4 of The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One]
Behold listeners, for here is one of the long way-shadowed letters, sent from Suvi to her citadel colleagues on the eve of the Battle of Twelvebrooks, and carried forth by a most unusual fleet: liberated demons of wizards' ink. Could its contents be relevant to future episodes. Ah well, only time will tell...
And perhaps, a question burns brightly on the back of your tongue. A question about a second letter, one of, let's say, an even more...intimate nature. Will that letter also be revealed in time? Listener? Yes. But only for our patrons, and only when the time is right. In the meantime, keep an eye out.

So this has got me thinking: of all the people Suvi could’ve written letters to just before the battle, why was Sworn one of them? Because I believe what she writes here is honest; however, it’s also tactical. So why try to preserve Sworn as an ally above all others?
She says it in her letter: He was there with her as she went through hell that pas couple of weeks & had to relearn and adjust her views on trust and the world. He's also the only person who hasn't betrayed that trust in any way. So ofcourse she writes him specifically a letter

Relistening to episode 39, 1h32min, first Ame asks Sworn "what he is loyal to" and next scene, Suvi gives her name to Silver (decision that will kill him later) 😭

Aabria is 👏 A 👏 WRITER 👏 Which OF COURSE we already knew but damn the eloquence and thoughtfulness with which Suvi speaks is so piercing! I and image of the letters which was more, idk, prying or ploying but this was so powerful and concise. I love that it mostly reaffirmed Suvi's own feelings and only asked Sworn to reflect on his own beliefs, not for any particular behavior. I have the feeling that this sort of letter will be a lot more effective at reaching his heart than any kind of promise or proposal she could have written.
