Tifa WIP#2 + Funscripts
Hey everyone, let’s keep going with the Tifa process. Last time we talked about atmosphere and other general things, today let’s dig a bit deeper and get into the key concept. If you had to sum up the whole process in a few words, “layered and romantic” fits best.
At first glance it might look like all you need to do is sit the character down on her ass, spread the legs, then 15 frames later repeat the same thing in a different position. That’s not how it works. Do it the quick way and every part of the body moves in a straight line at the same speed, because that’s how the computer fills those frames in. This is where one of the most important elements comes in: the breakdown. It’s what lets you set the order in which every part of the body moves. That’s what makes the character look more realistic and believable. It’s probably the single most important frame between the key poses. Let’s take a piece of the animation as an example:
First there’s a sharp thrust into the hips, starting fast and stopping softly. The momentum from that thrust travels straight into the back, and only then pushes it to lean backwards. Then it quickly returns to its end position to keep her steady, because Tifa isn’t that easy to knock off her feet! That’s it for now, we’re moving confidently toward the release, which is expected next week.

Can we get a funscript for the Cait Bride animation? Specifically vr if that’s not a big ask
I'll see if I can find it and script it this weekend. There are a some animations not listed in the tier collections that I wasn't even aware of 🫨
