The New Monkees
We wrap up Season 6 with 1987's ill-advised, ill-fated, and just generally ill attempt to revive the "Monkees" concept.
I'm going to take some time off for the holidays to recharge, renew, and stockpile some material. New episodes will return with Season 7 in January!

Giving them credit -- what little they deserve -- is that the New Monkees wasn't just a clone of the original. It was its own thing. That thing was just a pile of crap.

Ironically, the Beatles actually LIKED the Monkees and respected them for wanting to play their own music.
