The Bradys
Ready for the scariest Brady sequel yet? It's 1990's "The Bradys." The nighttime soap opera that gave us bankrupt Wally, infertile Jan, and Alcoholic Fake Marcia.

You know, this series wasn't THAT bad. I liked the more dramatic approach, they were able to keep each of the actors active, I actually liked Leah Ayres as Marcia, and I liked the theme with Florence singing. And give them credit for bringing back the husbands from the Brady Brides. They could have just retconned it out like they did the variety hour. Of course, that was a case of the drugs wearing off, and no one remembered it.... :-) I definitely agree they REALLY overdid the soap opera aspects. Seriously, every week, things got WORSE for the characters! I've never seen a soap opera sadder than THIS one. But it kept the laugh track!! WTF? Okay, what WERE they thinking?!! Or smoking....
So they were actually gonna kill off Mike? That would have been a disaster, LOL.
Fantastic. I remember reading one of the Schwartzes saying the show couldn't be against Full House; kids were watching FH so parents were letting them have the TV for the hour. Also, FH was The Brady Bunch for a whole new generation. I did think it was sweet that Marcia named her son after Mike. I think of the three, Brady Brides was the best.
