Fantasy Guild Master — First Look at Gameplay
Hey guys,
Development is moving along great, and I think it's finally time to show you what the game is starting to look like in action!
Over the past few weeks, I've been building the core daytime gameplay loop and, while there's still plenty left to do, most of the major systems are now starting to come together.
During the day, you'll manage your guild from the world map. Here you'll accept quests, decide which guild members to assign, and have them travel between locations.
Once on a quest, you'll have to decide how your party approaches a situation. Different solutions rely on different attributes, have their own difficulty and AP cost, and can lead to different outcomes. Choosing the right guild member for the job — and managing their strengths and remaining AP — will be an important part of the game.
Successful quests earn your guild gold and reputation, while participating guild members gain experience and level up, allowing them to improve their attributes and eventually unlock new abilities.
The screenshots above are all taken directly from the current game and show the world map, location and character screens, quest setup, interaction system, and quest rewards.
There's still a lot of polishing and content creation ahead, but this is getting pretty close to the overall look and feel I had in mind when I first started designing Fantasy Guild Master.
Of course, this is only the daytime half of the game... nighttime is a different story. ;)
More on what happens back at the guild house in a future update!
Note: Some of the images are still placeholders, so certain visuals may change as development continues.

The concept seems really promising can't wait to see more! 💪
So, its a bit like dispatch ? Cant wait
I assume some girls have skills the others do not, like for instance, you send the thief girl to steal a crown or whatever. But curious if quests will have recommended party members or if you can teach skills, like the barbarian to be stealthy... I guess that is what it was in Mystwood Manor so makes sense if it is the same here.
Each girl has her own ability pool. But stats can be distributed freely (although they will start with base stats corresponding to their class).
Seeing this I thought about meeting Bellatrix in one of the missions 😝
Looks cool. I'm curious about why the Hard action nets less XP than the Medium difficulty action. Seems like accomplishing the Hard one would grant more experience? But of course, there may be other factors involved that I'm not aware of.
It's just a mockup. There is no actual content yet. Normally, a more difficult action would result in more XP (although, technically there could be exceptions).
looking forward to it. love the map style
I have loved all your games. I can see this will be another Great one.
