Gek News Week 7

watching this late but #OGGek been here since you guys first started AOT

First: Congrats on the Engagement!!!!, Second: Long Hair Elle looking like an elf from LOTR GURRRLL get it!!!, Third: Cannon Playing Guitar Hero healed something in me, him playing on Expert? OK I see you!

Production is top notch lads really enjoyed this week’s segment looking forward to the next !!

Never would have imagined the background was actually the basement lol

Hi there! Geks, I could use a little help. I was previously subscribed to Juicy Tier, but I paused my subscription for a while. Now, I’m ready to resubscribe, but I’m having some trouble activating it. I tried switching to a new package, specifically the uncut tier for both anime and live-action content, but I still ran into some issues. For instance, ‘Haunting of Hill House' is asking for extra fees even though I'm subscribed to both. I’d really appreciate any guidance you can provide.

We need that black clover reaction fr and it’s coming back in October 😩

tokyo revengers or black clover

honestly didnt know yall lived together lmao.

how about some non franchise movies

#OGGek been here enjoying the content since attack on titan lol you guys was actually my first time paying for patreon and I ain’t look back since. You guys the Goats.

The post credit with Cannon was good. I was about to click out and then he appeared. I don't know if you guys watched Supernatural, but I thought Cannon was gonna pull a Jensen Ackles and do a whole performance like when he did Eye of the Tiger. Iykyk Loved the family setting. Excited to check out Witch Hat Ateleir

#OGGEK I found you guys on TikTok when you started the channel for AOT, and it was maybe 2 weeks after you posted for the first time, and I've been here since. I've been here to enjoy Brick when he was part of the squad, and I hope he's thriving just as much as you guys. Crazy to see you guys grow as well, with Briggs ' job opportunity, Carter's new baby girl, and Jack getting married as well. I love the anime stuff, but the little taste of life you guys share with the community is fun to hear about. Can't wait for the studio to finish and the many more reactions we'll get from the channel. Seeing Cannon at the end with Guitar Hero brought back many late-night memories with my cousins and friends with that game.

#OGGEK i randomly found your og aot s1 reaction on youtube years back, but i wasnt a huge aot guy, so i kinda stopped there. later on i randomly found your reaction to the big 3, it was a super fun experience and i followed you guys since then. might be a random thing to add, but i was watching your severance reaction last week, and it surprised me to see Brig showing up in that video, couse somehow i felt brig moved onto his own career a couple of years ago, but it turned out to be less than a year. anyway just wanna say i miss him and itll be super cool if he randomly hops in one of your videos. hope yall have a wonderful week.

EYY congrats Elle!!

My movie recommendation is both Sherlock Holmes movies with RDJ and Jude Law. Especially since you guys have watched the Sherlock TV show. It would be cool to hear your guy's thoughts on both depictions of sherlock

your lie in april 2027 announcement YIPPEEE that’s my og goat show

I'm begging for Heated Rivalry reactions :)

How’d the commentators not learn a thing from all these anime’s that’s called character development IRL from the geks.

Similar to most people, I saw your AoT 1x1 reaction on youtube. I actually ignored it for like weeks at first lol. One day, for some reason-maybe boredom, I watched it. At the time you guys only watched AoT so I just stuck on youtube. I think it was when you guys starting watching Death Note, that I made the switch over to the patreon, around Aug 2023 (idk if im og enough). Which was one of the best decision I made, because that lineup afterwards was just something else man 😮‍💨😮‍💨. I never or rarely commented back then, but after a while I saw how interactive you guys were and now I never shut up and comment on like every upload lol. That's one of the many things I love about you guys, you actually read and interact with the comments. Most importantly you listen to your audience, take some of the criticisms into consideration and improve upon it, which I have seen first hand. It has been awesome to apart of this community for nearly 3 years now and it'll be exciting to see where the channel will go in the next 3 years. ❤️❤️ ps if you are one of the geks and have read all of this, you have entered into a binding vow and must convince the others and watch Monster or you will become bald.

Geks thousand sunny tour!

I tuned in on the smallest whim and i got a shoutout, nice!

I guess I'm an #OGGek since I've been here since your Attack on Titan days when you first started YouTube. Look how far you've come. It's amazing to see. The growth is crazy. I'm so proud of you all! Each one of you make a difference in my life. Hope you know that. You're such incredible, compassionate, and lovable guys🤗

#OGGEK Day 1 first couple hours of upload baby. Briefly left the patreon when aot ended but promptly subbed again a few months later and haven’t left since 😎

#OGGek Watching AOT reactions is to me what drinking and driving is to Tiger Woods, like a moth to a flame. So naturally, my algorithm threw a goated lob by putting y’alls first aot reaction on my feed the day it was released. Ive been here ever since

I better get an apothecary diaries or jojo notification tonight…

#OGGek I believe. Yeah crazy to think my alg just rec'd that AoT 1x1 post so many years ago. Safe to say... my alg cooked.... glad I let it because I am still here today and this is pretty much the only reaction channel I feel part of the community in or watch consistently.

#OGGek kinda maybe idk. I subbed to you guys on January 4th 2024. What's funny is I remember someone posting your AoT 1x1 reaction in the Blind Wave discord back when it was uploaded but I only watched a few minutes of it. (Shoutout this guy https://i.imgur.com/9mukemr.png )

how OG does an #OGGek have to be? because i got into your yt channel when you were still watching aot (had the final season left) and then joined the patreon for your GoT reactions and never left :). y’all have been a constant part of my week for years now because you just keep watching things i love/end up loving. best reaction channel out there, no question!

i can’t wait until i’ve caught up to you guys with more of these shows that you’re watching, so that i can actually watch your moments of the week and not have to skip for spoilers 😭😭

#OGGEK. Been here since day one when I randomly saw that aot ep 1 reaction on YouTube. It literally said few hours ago for upload. I clicked it and then clicked the profile and saw that was the only video and was like no way this is a fresh channel. I have been there since then. Recently just joined Patreon for one piece but been on YouTube since literally day one.

Where’s jojos and bleach

Drop better be jojos

#OGGEK and I was even a Discord mod once lolol love seeing you guys grow since the AOT days and the early days of the Discord

#OGGEK - i will ALWAYS remember the loud Footsteps echoing in the backround of someone stomping the Stairs in ur old videos hahahha + btw Peak Location guys, the Sun was NOT playing in ur living room ☀️👌

If you’re open to more slice of life anime one day, I recommend The Ramparts of Ice! Only one ep is out so far but it’s already so good, there’s a lot of depth there. And the same mangaka has another anime out called You and I are Polar Opposites (that one is really wholesome and will make anyone giggle and kick their feet)

#OGGek 🙌🏻 I’ve been with you guys since your first ever YouTube video, I think literally within the first few hours 💖

#OGGek. I‘ve been following your channel since the first AoT upload on YT. Still missing Brig but still having fun seeing you enjoy the stuff I enjoyed. Cant wait for whats coming especially Bleach 🔥

Crash Landing On You and It's Okay to Not Be Okay are the Korean Dramas that got me into Korean Dramas, some of my favorite all time shows. You guys have to give Netflix's Devilman Crybaby an honest try. Definitely slept on

I was actually looking up your lie in April reactions to watch these past few days and was hoping you guys would watch it lol just one more year to go 🥲

Thanks for the update! These videos are a great way to start the week :)

Your lie in April HYPE

Movie recs: the American Pie movies

I remember finding you guys at the end of 2022 - you’ve become my absolute favorite reaction channel and I’ve loved every second of being part of the Gek family, from someone liking/replying to one of my comments, to giving a shoutout in a video, to witnessing/winning the first giveaway- always proud to be a day one #OGGEK, I recommend you guys to practically everyone I know and I can’t wait to see what you do next. Cheering you on from Hawaii !

Show recs: Handmaids tale, Normal People, One Day, American Horror Story

I’m not above begging for Percy Jackson, especially since the third season comes out later this year

Been watching you guys from the first handful of episodes of season 1 AoT, joined patreon when you dropped the finale reaction before the backlog of season 4 eps, and been here ever since. By far my favourite 'reaction' channel out there, I don't even really group you guys in the same category. I don't really get why people get so upset at what you're reacting to, we don't have to watch everything if it's really that bad lol. There's def been stuff I don't bother watching your reaction to cause I know I don't like the show, or drop early after learning I don't like it, but there's also been peak I've watched because of you (orb, severence, shogun). #OGGek

Gek News intros slowly turning into a docuseries

New tonight is seeming like it's going to be Jojos or Apothecary Diaries but what if they swerve us all with something completely different, could a peak twist LOL Either way sounds like we're going to get peak tonight, hopefully its apothecary diaries but if not, and it is Jojos then maybe watching with them will help me finish it. Only one season in on Jojos.

My bad if this has been addressed ya’ll but does anyone know if/when the crew will react to Fate Strange Fake?? I need that lol

not an #OGGek but I'm up there

had no clue the old studio was in a basement, this has actually blown my mind

chat back me up, F&F should succeed twilight

Bloodhounds season 2 is out btw 👀😏…. Haven’t started but hear it’s intense

A Jojo's drop would feed a whole generation

Congratulations, Elle!!! I wish you all the happiness 🎊

Bloodhounds s2 was soo good!! I hope yall watch it🔥

CONGRATS ELLE!!!! i’m so happy for you!

My hero epilogue comes out next month 👀

omgg congrats elle!!

#OGGek yall first popped up on my yt feed when u dropped AOT 2x6 if I’m remembering right, was hooked to those reactions off rip p sure I watched all the reactions u had put out up to that point in one sitting 😂 I remember when the channel got taken down for like a month too

Guys, for march next year PLEASE watch March Comes in Like a Lion. It’s one of the best anime out there, the type that everyone will love

Your Lie in April hype!

Bloodhounds season 2 is coming right? Yes?

What a FULL HOUSE lol so many people!

Fate copium

It's neat getting a glimpse into Carter and Cannon's childhood by seeing their family home. It looks so cozy and warm. Thanks for sharing it with us. Glad everyone is comfortable there. I love watching house tours. It makes you feel like you're actually there walking around taking in the scenery... 🚶‍♀️✨️🏠

#OGGek

Lmao the Rainbolt jumpscare. Editing keeps getting funnier

I have not personally watched or read the manga, but I heard great things about "Mushishi" and it is its own thing, anybody in the comment section? I'd like to know your opinions!

#OGGek but I’ve been off and on the Patreon depending on what’s coming out

*OGGek been here since the first AoT YouTube video when Carter was a big hater lol. He evolved so much lol

#OGGEK , long time lurker, shout aht AOT 1x4

#OGGEK

It is time for NAUSICAA!! Cannon, let's do thiiiiis

another week another peak gek news

Your lie in April gank was deadly

ts better be jojo 💔

a whole year for your lie in april is S tier edging 😭

I can see how comfortable and cozy they all feel in Carter and Cannon’s childhood home. So nice. Would never know how that feels but so happy for them 🥹

Bradlynn playing Fortnite on mobile she’s a true Fortnighter

McKay can I get another house tour? Through the back door this time

Next movie series recommendation: Hunger Games.

No GeKpop news? BigSad. Appreciated the three videos last week so tysm! Can't wait for more! I PURPLE YOU GEKS 💜🫰

LMAO a year in advance 😭😭 that’s actually so funny

Have to wait a year for Your Lie in April but I’ll take it

Also guyss Bloodhounds season two is soo good! The fight choreography is insane and Rain is killing it! Yall have to watch it! 🔥🔥

Wowww throwback my entire childhood was me and my older siblings grinding Guitar Hero trying to beat Through the Fire and Flames on expert 😭

I'm gonna pull a McKay and say my least favorite moment xd It was when Tangerines got ganked lmao I was depressed at the time but looking back now at the chaos and everybody crashing out I can't help but find it hilarious especially since it happened on April 01 😂😂 Still super super sad that it'll stay once a week but I respect yalls decision. I'll let the episodes build and come back because I'm not a patient person. 😔

I love all the cameos yall have a beautiful family! So Blessed! Also Congrats Elle! ❤️

I still feel like ya'll might enjoy exploring a new anime genre that you don't usually venture in which is rom-com/slice of life. Tamon's B-side would be a refreshing fun twist. The characters are quirky and hilarious and it's short too only 13 episodes. So it wouldn't take long at all. They really did the manga justice with bringing all the characters to life. I also love the music in it. It's catchy and such a vibe 🎶

I would let Conquest punch me around for jojos.

Jojos 🙏🏻

Lord please let it be jojos 😭

Now watch this drive from Cannon is crazy, peak reference.

good to see the dlc, and atelier yes!!

#OGGek my patreon card says Jan 2023. I knew you since December of 2022 tho, it was your AOT “anime haters” beginning.

#OGGek been here since late s1/early s2 of AOT on YouTube and joined patreon during HxH, been lurking like the whole time tho lol except for Minecraft server

Is that baby Lou on the background 🥹

JJJOOOOOJOOOOOS GUARANTEE IT WILL BE S TIER

If it’s not the apothecary diaries i’m going to: 1. Break my arm in front of Carter and make Jacob Black a legal guardian for baby Lou. 2. Chew loudly in front of Mckay with Perona AND Orihime’s voices in the background on a 10 hr loop. 3. Make Cannon eat pie soup with some clock asmr in the background/pick my nose. 4. Spoil One Piece for Jack and take his ring. This is a joke and i’m excited for a new show but also…i’m not joking and these are all viable promises thanks guys! :)

Who started this #OGGek thing?😂😂

still waiting for geks to enter their romcom or comedy anime genre era 🤭 i hope to see u guys to react to kaguya sama or saiki k someday 💖

apothecary diaries 👀

Dang! I didn't realize y'all were rich! 😂

It wouldn't be better to watch Jojo in the fall before the new episodes drop? Today the much anticipated The Witch Hat Atelier premieres. Many are saying is better fantasy story than Frieren but I find it hard to believe :)

i’ll be incredibly sad if it’s not Apothecary Diaries you guys are literally missing out on a peak story

Bleak

I think you guys should watch chihayafuru, such peak🙏

Lol a year-in-advance announcement for Your Lie in April 😭that's now stored in my long-term memory so i will hold you guys to that!

New show... with new guest?! Hoping for a romrom with one of the girlies 🙏🙏

Can we like this comment for Berserk 1997? Or maybe they reacted already? Let’s do a marathon for this year or next year. 9hrs total, 3hr episodes for 6 days in a row!

After a year, I still need to finish YLIA, wonder if the geks will get to it before I do 😂

ORB mentioned! NANDO DEMO o7

See, that makes not even want to TOUCH 'Invincible' 😂

Please consider To Be Hero X it is so good!!!!!

Consider watching Dil Dhadakne Do (DDD) it has the same MC actor from Dhurandar and he plays a very fun role in DDD. The movie isn't as intense its fun and drama. Another good fun Indian movie recommendation I would give is Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (YJHD) another really fun slice of life but very touching figuring life out kind of movie.

#OGGek :D

#OGGek here Man I've said it before and ill say it again, I've been apart of the patreon damn near since it started and the Then/Now comparison is actually insane Anime Haters to Anime Lovers, GOT Haters to GOT lovers lol Jack and Carter both married, Brigg on his Journey, Carter has a kid now and you guys are on the road to becoming LOL Pro's haha Seeing how many anime you guys have under your belt now makes me happy lol and I'm still waiting for you guys to get to BLUE LOCK and some of the more "interesting" anime like - Mushoku Tensei - Heavenly Delusion - Saga of Tanya the Evil - JoJo's But nonetheless, I'm proud to have been able to be apart of the journey along side you guys and some of the crazy comment section discussions lol cant wait to see what other shows/anime you guys watch next. (Hopefully we can get some more horror on the channel lol) #GekForever

I think it’s time you boys experienced Yu Yu Hakusho. Same writer as HxH. One of those formative anime’s that the older crowd grew up on during the Toonami days along with DBZ. Also, Cowboy Bebop would be a great one that goes by quick. Both shows are amazing and have really really good English dubs (Bebop was made for western audiences)

One year YLIA announcement is insane 💀💀💀

I got excited when they said Your lie in April, and then they said 2027…

Geks giving us S-tier content like always. Thank you all. Love you guys. This weekly update videos really make my day. The new gek location is very nice. I haven't watched it yet but I'm guessing it's Jack's place maybe... And hope you can do more Kpop soon. I'm still eagerly waiting for more Stray Kids music videos such as Divine, Thunderous, Maniac, Miroh, and Hellevator as well the complete 2026 Stray Kids Guide by Chandora's World. It's so informative and you learn so much about the members. Also, I still need to watch The Haunting of Hill House. I love a good eerie thought provoking story. Speaking of which, can't wait for more Tangerines this Wednesday. Wish it was twice a week though but I'll try to be patient haha Wow the weather is so nice today. I just back from my yearly appointment. Truth is, I get white coat syndrome majorly and am a hypochondriac but thankfully everything turned out good yipee!!! I'm just not a fan of hospitals in general. They kind of weird me out some 🤣🙏😂

highly recommend Dr. Stone you guys would love it

NEW GUESTS!!!

Thank you so much for the tour! I asked for this like two or three weeks ago! Came in hot!

Hope y’all had a happy Easter

Stako on the couch?

1:17 Oh, I remember Piss Gate. It happened in Shippuden when Brig was still here.

new schedule recommendation- bleach every weekday :DD , jk much love geks

These Gek news are genuinely just a “never let them know your next move” 😂 I really enjoy the randomness of them. Especially the location swaps.

Your house looks so cozy, it's giving me 2000s tuscani home vibes

tuesdays/thursdays are A+++++ one piece and hill house drops on the same day just peak chef kiss

Hmm, wonder what the new anime drop will be👁️ #OGGEK

APOTHECARY DIARIES PLEASE

on my hands and knees begging for a weekly fast and furious movie drop. its all about FAMILY

For movies I recommend Transformers/spider-verse/Scott Pilgrim vs the world

We just got some great news about the SBR situation a few hours ago, and if we as Jojo fans are lucky enough, we'll also get a peak Jojo reaction tonight...!! Gek boyz please make this a day to remember for all of us Gek & JoJo fans

I still have hope you guys watch March comes in like a Lion on March 2028 then? 😭

I hope it’s apothecary diaries but I feel like it’s gonna be jojos

Was hoping for new show to be Sentenced to be a Hero and then they said it's been highly requested the last 3 years and killed all my hope 😭. New show better be Re:Zero or JoJo's or I'm gonna crashout.

Cowboy bebop would be literal cinema y’all would absolutely love it I begggg🙏🥹

Movie list recommendation: Final destination Hunger games Maze runner Dune Scream

I NEED THE BLEACHHHH

really appreciate the spoiler warnings

Bloodhounds season 2 is currently not planned. We will let you guys know if we are gonna pick it up!

Witch Hat!!

Bloodhounds season 2 is out!!! #OGGEK

Your Lie In April 2027!!!!!!

No Bloodhounds season 2 mention?? Fellas let me tell you ..it’s pretty awesome 👏 some of the best fight choreography I’ve seen in a while in live action

I need you guys to react to bloodhounds season two 😭😭😭

House tour is nice, but where’s the basement y’all kept Brig for almost 1 year.

1:35 Cannon fanservice at 9am is crazy

HUNGER GAMES!!

Happy Bleach day y’all

Guitar Hero > Rockband btw

Cannon hitting that shit tho (I have never played guitar hero)

Seeing cannon go crazy at the end felt so nostalgic for some reason, loving these news segments

Great video, but not a word about K-pop content it’s crazyyy 😱

One of the three Bs maybe? Brig, Brady, or Braun that's my guess

The newssss

The year in advance announcement is painful but ill gladly wait now I know it's coming!

Jojos with Bryant Cinema

What a lovely home. Love how wholesome you guys are 😎👍🏾

OMG i cant believe they are watching "Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to My Gift of Unlimited Gacha I Got Level 9999 Friends and I'm Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World" such a good choice guys.

Y’all soo cute🥺

6:42 it gotta be jojo, it's time🙏

crossing fingers for re/zero

Your Lie in April does have a lot of tropes that you guys might not enjoy like the comedy in serious moments and chibis but still might enjoy it overall

I know lovely people will back me up here: Apothecary Diaries chain 💚💚💚 #OGGek
