Gek News Week 6
A MARCH FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS
Comments (333)
A bit late and also off topic but after finishing your reactions to Fate Zero/Stay Night and listening to your discussions and thoughts I wonder if you guys will ever watch Fate Apocrypha. Given the 'preference' of Zero I think you guys would find Apocrypha to be very enjoyable.
Aprocrypha and zero are not similar fates I would say lol aprocrypha is more similar to strange fake than anything else. But Strange/Fake actually ties back to Zero, so that comparison would be better.
Im not kidding, Ive watched Project Hail Mary 7 times already at the theatre (All in IMAX and once in 70mm) This movie changed my life frrr.
Project Hail Mary made me cry so many times while watching it. Definetly amazing and very emotional!
the kitty constantly putting his foot on Jack's shoulder killed me 😭😭😭
nice house carter
wait how am I 2nd place on march madness, that's insane
hey have yo guys ever seen the dune movies?, there really good and with dune 3 coming this year could be lit
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH WITCH HAT ATELIER I LOVE IT SMMM
The no doubt in the bg is so fire
GUYS, I went and watched Project Hail Mary!! Pretty good, but I wouldn't go again tho lol but it was a goood movie. Ryan Gosling got me emotional. I love Rocky, reminded me of my cat Tito. <3
Beans
Has anyone suggested Ranking of Kings before? Goated show that will need to be followed up after JoJos
I’ve mentioned it several times haha including this comment section. I’ve personally never heard or seen them mention it once but hoping they add it to a poll soon!
Idk if I’m the only one out there, but I’d prefer them to finish shows that they have already started on the patreon. They’ve already racked up a few between Summer Hikaru died, Sakamoto Days, kaiju, and takopi being the notable ones. I personally only care about kaiju and Sakamoto, just cause I’ve seen them, even though they might not be better than the other two, but in general I would think it’d be good to not create precedent of leaving shows unfinished.
underrated take! although we understands that there's business even in the reaction world, but it really bums the audience when a lot of these channels drop shows.
Where are the Naruto fans at?? Are you still here? I've been wondering for a while now after they finished it
Yes! I've seen a couple reminding Geks to react to Naruto Shippuden openings. I'm still catching up with their reaction.
you guys need to finish the Chronicles of Narnia movies!
Next live action poll needs to include the sopranos and succession PLSSS
Naruto ops anytime soon 🤨🤨😔
Damm im late but gotta reccomomend the Kdrama Deaths game only 8 episodes so not much investment but peak storytelling on my moms soul fr (and i dont play about my mom). Also for anime Fate Strange Fake is pretty fire.
Omggg ??! I literally wanted to recommend Deaths games so many times, but didn’t think I would have others backing it. It’s so peak, I hope they get a chance to witness it.
I love that you guys are enjoying these Weekly Update videos. Makes my day seeing all the positive comments. 😁
1. The way I cried during Project Hail Mary! 2. I need more Rob content 3. Please tell me you guys have heard the Disco Lord of the Rings song! Ive had it on repeat all week lol.
Jojos waiting room
Mushroom Hair Girl😲
Re:Zero is a good anime
You guys could give a shot to "That time I got Reincarnated as a Slime." It has 3 seasons, and the fourth one is coming in April which will have 60 episodes and will have the best two arcs of the shows animated.
Hey Geks! Just wanted to ask (as a HUGE Jojo fan) that you please consider watching all the other parts of Jojo before SBR. It won't hit the same even if it's a different part. Seeing the progression in the writers storytelling and how he gets better with every part is a big reason why watching the show from the start is so enjoyable haha you'll also miss a LOT of references and not fully understand the power system as much just my take but try not to listen to all the impatient fans or get fomo. You have plenty of amazing parts to watch! There is only one ep out for the current part anyways (I'm sure this has been said in the comments). IF Jojos is not next (I do hope it is coming soon from part 1), then might I recommend Ranking of Kings, since you love Frieren so much. I am pretty sure it will be one you will enjoy a lot!! Check out the trailer and see what you think 🙃 Thanks always for the great content and convos!
yes yes yes
Can I make few recommendations for anime? :) I would recommend Space Brothers (2012) & Planetes (2003-2004 series) & Tatami Galaxy 2010 TV mini series (1 season only) & Welcome to the N.h.k. (2006 anime). If you’re thinking of reacting to anime movies, then I would recommend Paprika by Satoshi Kon, and Millennium Actress also by Satoshi Kon.
heated rivalry cinema gek reaction??
Fire Force would be good for you guys to do, the anime finishes in a few days. Black Clover is coming back in October also, another sick show i think you guys would like. also shippuden openings when??
BLACK CLOVER IS A MUST. It’s actually so sad that we couldn’t watch one of the top 5 new-gen anime! Fire Force. It’s one of the all time peaks like literally!!!!! I’d even argue that Fire Force deserved to be here more than Sherlock or S2 of Frieren Bro it’s so peak I can’t. I remember watching Fire Force in 2019 when it first came out—the weekly drops… ahhh, I wanna go back so bad.
I would love to see you guys reacting to these shows!!: animes: - apothecary diaries - your lie in april - skip and loafer - fruits basket - nana - cowboy bebop - monster - the disastrous life of saiki k - JOJOS💔💔 - gintama (after watching jojos) LA: - moving (I’ve been begging for like a year now🗣️) - the sopranos - how I met your mother - fleabag - flowers - the bear some of these are niche af but I just know you guys would enjoy them🙏
they could watch short shows like your lie in april so easily and get straight peak with barely any commitment
Black clover time?? It’s coming back in October so it’s time also it’s from the same studio as Naruto and bleach as well. Y’all would love the characters especially the mc. Might as well gone add rob as a official member 🤣
jjk is proof how easy you can win people over with just insane hype and animation 😭 still good but like a 9.9 episode and putting it over fan letter?
sadge, i agree. while the story is certainly quite good, i completely thinks that JJK is being carried heavily by MAPPA's animation. but also maybe the Geks are prioritizing on-going shows, rather than one-off like Fan Letter.
One more thing, I BEG you guys not to watch Steel Ball Run before the rest of JoJo's. Steel Ball Run is considered not only one of the best parts of JoJo's for its incredible writing, but also because of the journey it took to get there. If you don't watch what happened before it will be a wet blanket reaction compared to what it could have been.
Big YES to Witch Hat Atlier, as a manga reader this adaptation looks absolutely superb from everything we've seen so far. Many people attest to how well designed the characters and power system is in this verse, and I'd agree fully, this worlds power system is one of the most interesting since Nen imo. I this show will also fill the fantasy void while we wait for more Frieren, be there Geks 🫵.
Another week another great news segment. I had seen TADC about a year and a half before you guys started, and I thought "there is no way in hell that these guys watch this, even if I do recommend it to them 😭," sooo glad I was wrong on that.
I'll just throw this one out cause nobody cares. But if you ever have the chance, please try watching "Noragami". It has only 2 season (hence why perfect to to try out), the manga is finished but we are yet to get a confirmed anime continuation. It's sad that less and less people remembers or even know about it. This was one of the staple animes to watch in the 2010s era, alongside Sword Art Online, Haikyuu, Owari no Seraph, and One Punch Man. The animation was good for it's time, unique premise, good comedy, and bangers openings. One of the opening is always on like top anime opening lists, almost everybody and their dog covered the song too. The premise is a girl who got tangled with the gods, and the direct translation of the title is "Stray God" . If that's not PEAK bait i don't know what is lmao. But thanks for the updates Geks!
Yes! Noragami 😭🫶🏻
nah you should def watch the other jojo parts before sbr and also the 2nd episode might not be coming out for months
Carter LMAOO 26:20 😭😭
Would probably be hard to catch up before Season 4 in 2 weeks. But Re: Zero is a must watch imo
we would need re zero week 😭
Hi Rob! So cute!! But poor Jack 😂 I don’t think you will see this, but because you ask for our opinion here my suggestions. I have 2! The first one is the tv show « Lupin » on Netflix for the next show to replace Sherlock, it’s good! It has three seasons and the fourth is coming in October i think! I also strongly recommend the Canadian tv show « empathie » it’s probably the best show I see in the last couple of year, it’s so so good! Both are in French but they have subtitles, and I know you are used to watch anything with subs!! Thanks for your reaction, I’m about to watch your reaction to the Taylor guide! Can’t wait!!! 💕🌞
Witch Hat Atelier is the only series that competes with Frieren in the manga verse. I have been waiting on it for so long!
rob has serious beef with jack lmao
Watching this again for Robb he's so feisty lmao We need Jack vs Robb part two 😂😂
It was definitely entertaining lol And Rob looks so cuddly. He's a spunky little thing ☺️
Dr. Stone would be a good one also Classroom Elite an underrated banger!!
Apothecary Diaries guyss plss I think you’d enjoy it
FIRE FORCE OR BLUE EXORCIST LITERALLY ULTRA PEAK PLEASE
All the jojos fans have already said it, but it can’t be overstated: DONT SKIP PARTS
Watch grand blue 😭😭😭
If y'all do Jojo's, definitely just start from the beginning. Especially with the way Netflix is handling Steel Ball Run, it might still be airing by 2028 lmao
My niche recommendation is Run With the Wind. Same character development vibes as Haikyuu (even a character like Kageyama but in a different font 😂) and SO inspiring. Hated running all my life but was so inspired rewatching the show I did my first half marathon last year and will be running my first marathon this year!! Also, it’s relatively short, just 23 episodes!
I feel like you guys still haven’t gotten into one of the bigger franchises at all: gundam! If that’s something you guys wanted to check out, I would recommend Iron Blooded Orphans. It’s a stand alone and very good. It was my first Gundam series
don’t skip the jojo parts pleaseeee. start from the beginning
Yes yes yes
Re;Zero time surely. 😗
Would love that
I don’t think yall would ever watch Succession, idk if it’s your vibe, but it’s my FAVORITE
Def in my top 10 shows! We've been waiting forever for it.
Please start from the beginning for JOJOS
Overlord
Made it to comment of the week, could this be the start of my Joursh era?
Yall should really watch Parasyte the Maxim once you finish Orb im sure you'll love it
PLEASE DO NOT START AT STEEL BALL RUN. DO NOT SKIP A SINGLE PART OF JOJO.
*technically* you can watch jojos part 7 steel ball run without seeing the first 6 parts. HOWEVER.. there's lots of really really fun references and moments that arent plot relevant but just make the watch that much better if youve seen parts 1-6. Since we don't have an exact date for episode 2 (fuck you netflix) i think yall should take the chance to watch parts 1-6 and experience true peak
the parts 5-6-7 run is GENERATIONAL and its only that much sweeter when you can enter the part 7 watch already a fan :)
I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS, DO NOT WATCH STEEL BALL RUN UNTIL YOU WATCH THE OTHER PARTS FIRST
Also if y’all meant your gonna watch the last Twilight movie without the girls I think y’all should wait. I’m definitely down to wait longer till all are together no rush it will be much better to watch when the girls get to see your reaction. I don’t know if anyone else here is down for the wait but hope some agree.
I probably missed when they said that, but they should wait for the queens ✨
Watch Mushoku Tensei, its literally peak, some controversies but other than that, pure peak writing and animation wise
in what world would geks react to euphoria 😭
JOJOS AND START FROM THE BEGINNING
KONO DIO DA
Fate Strange Fake has such a unique style to its art and animation. It's such a fun watch. Some of the craziest moments in anime happened in those 13 episodes for me. Just absolutely cinema!
literally the perfect replacement for jjk WE NEED IT
Very different from what you guys usually watch over at Cinema Gek but would loveee for you guys to check out The Pitt
it’s my weekly comfort show even though everyone’s going through it in the hospital rn 😭😭
Thanks for the update!
Where is steel ball run episode 2?
JoJo’s 😃
Also just watching part 7 is totally fine and it was LITERALLY made to stand on its own so if you guys want to watch it you should. But people will get mad because jojo fans are a hive mind that says “part skipping=bad”
Apothecary Diaries and Sentenced to be a Hero!
The best episode from the show? oooooh buddy so much more to come !
Hells paradise… finish out the dark trio 😁
please start jojos and from part 1
Black clover yallll would love IT
time for mappas hells paradise!
Y'all gotta watch LOVE DEATH ROBOTS
I agree I think Yall will love the different styles of animation
Hi, I just got back from Jury Duty. I'm relieved I'm done and didn't get picked for the final selection. However I did make it to the jury pool and answered questions from the prosecutors. That was interesting. I was so nervous sweating bullets haha Anyways thank you for more gek news! My favorite guys 🤗 Carter's place looks nice and the cat is adorable. Also hope ya'll will do the Stray Kids 2026 complete guide after the BTS one.
betsy on jury duty sounds like a show i’d watch 😂😂
If you guys are open mindeu… shokugeki no soma
😂
naruto openings
Love the user
I love how when you first see this cute cat, you wouldn't think that it's named Rob😭
Man, idk why but I really enjoy these little update videos. I like the editing that gets done for them and I love how non scripted they are. Also I don’t like cats but Rob gets a pass from me.
Oh I'm all for Apothecary Diaries for Anime and Supernatural for LA tier. I think you would enjoy both these series!
Someone pls tell me which streams had Cannon's crash out and matching with Jack
Witch Hat Atelier is definitely the must watch show of the season and yes, it should be pretty big and popular, so you'll get good views off it too. Another one to look out for is Daemons of the Shadow Realm this season. It's by the Fullmetal Alchemist author and it's getting 24 episodes starting on the 4th. It's being produced by Bones so the quality will be good too. There's also Akane Banashi which is hailed as one of the best current shonen that is debuting, also on the 4th of April I believe. One y'all probably won't watch it since it doesn't have much hype cuz no one has read the source material haha, but Agents of the Four Seasons has started airing and it's done by WIT and the Violet Evergarden author. But still recommend for y'all in the comments to check it out! The first episode was really well done!
Haven’t heard of Agents of the Four Seasons but adding it to my watchlist stat! Thank you
Can we get a reaction to the Ghost in the Shell teaser trailer? This might be one of the bigger anime to come out this year as it’s a new anime with being one of the most iconic anime franchises in history.
Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting is a 12 ep slice of life anime
Canon with the elite ragebait
Nooo I was hoping for a PHM reaction. lol I loved that movie and it’s one of my favorite books.
No please watch the previous six parts
Please don't skip JoJo parts!!
I completely agree with the people in the comments about skipping Jojo's previous parts to go directly into SBR. The same people who tell you guys to skip some of One Piece arcs are the same ones who say to watch Dragon Ball Z without the OG series, it just ruins a BIG part of the enjoyment & the journey as a whole. Also what some of yo mentioned about Jojo's Part 7 isn't entirely accurate, it's not a reboot of the series it all according to the author himself, the events of this part take us to a parallel world, but there are A LOT of references to so many things from the original world that you guys wouldn't know about if you just skipped the previous parts. It was titled Part 7 for a reason boys
Genuine question for all cat owners. How do you deal with the fur? I can’t wear black anymore unless I go over it twice with a lint roller before leaving the house and even when I do laundry it’s still on them. I’ve tried pet detergents and dryer sheets. Is there no hope?
accept defeat😭😭😭
Kitty!
I’m probably late to this but are you guys readers?:0 If so, I’d love to know your favorite genres and books/series🧍🏻♀️
you go first brikena, i love getting recommendations from the gek community because everyone has such good taste.
Ngl if you watch part 7 without watching the previous parts I might have to square up with at least 2 of you
Carter buddy…the apothecary diaries please!!! A Your Lie in April reaction in April would be peak as well. Also this might have to be for juicy tier but Ranking of Kings is great too :)
My king Bojji ❤️
Adding onto the voices for Apothecary Diaries bc i think yalls brains would be so cooked from that show
I’d like to see Jack even try to predict that show
Beans
Rob is coming for Mica’s place as fav kitty…Mica fight back!! Jk they’re both cuties 🥹 I remember when you guys dropped the ops reaction, and i suggested you COULD watch part 7 on it’s own, and i was called braindead and you guys shouldn’t listen to my opinion lol…so i would watch Jojo’s pt 1-6 first 💀
Mica FIGHT BACK OMG
Rotate the games on Twitch! Bring back some of the abandoned oh sorry Carter I mean "paused" games back hehe Dispatch is missed!
Do you know if they have ever played Dead by Daylight ?
I know it’s a bit early but Monster after Castlevania and Crash Landing on You after Tangerines would slap ngl
Crash Landing on You 🙏
McKay you gonna keep eye fucking me at 26:33 or u gonna holler at meh?
😂 leave McKay alone!
I think Robb wants 6 episodes of Bleach per week. He just can't get enough Yoruichi.
This is the third time I'm hearing Twilight is this week 😭 I really really hope so Breaking Dawn Pt.2 is better imo! Yall aren't ready!
Yesss the BTS guide is today! 🙌 💜💜💜 don't make us wait long we're camping over there xd also ignore the fucktards on YouTube.
I REFUSE TO SLEEP UNTIL IT DROPS!!!
Just gon throw my Re:Zero recommendation out there..
Need it
BEANS!! BEANS!! BEANS!! BEANS!! Are we finally gonna get a McKay Mukbang? 😂
The end of Sherlock :( give us Tangerine Tuesday/Thursday give back our K-drama days! 😩🙏 Reminder Geks Bloodhounds S2 airs Friday!!
Fr a 16 episode show is gonna go by soooo slow with just 1 episode a week 😭 We always show up and are hyped for it too
Oooh housewarming party at Carter's house! We couldn't get Lou but we got Robb 🥹 McKay should've brought Mica!
No doubt playing in the back. I’m here for it 🤌🏻
We literally need Geks' opinion on beans on toast, like a review but with legitimately good beans. Geks on beans!
Robb might be taking over Mica’s spot as the cutest cat, thoughts McKay?
Banned
Don’t tease us with Steel Ball Run… Unrelated but Happy Birthday to Eren Yeager!
Witch Hat Atelier is my most anticipated release this year (aside from OP of course) so I would absolutely love a reaction from you guys! In terms of other recs I agree with a bunch of comments suggesting Apothecary Diaries, Jojo’s and Sentenced to be a hero! AD is cozy yet intriguing with gorgeous animation and loveable characters. Jojos is just peak, I mean you guys have seen the intros. Just pleaseeeeee start from part 1 and enjoy the journey if you decide to watch it. StbaH was unexpected for me this year but is high in the ranks: unique take on a hero system with amazing animation I really can’t recommend it enough! Thank you geks for another great week!
BIGTOP BURGER created by Worthikids
I think you guys should still watch all the other parts before steel ball run.
Technically you can watch part 7 without seeing the previous parts as your experience won’t get ruined. You’ll just get a lesser experience which should be enough reason to watch the previous parts. Also Steel Ball Run only has 1 episode out right now with no schedule or date for the second episode so you might as well watch the previous parts first
Yeah if they speedrun it they can definitely catch up. Especially with how Netflix is throwing the bag rn. Idk when full season is out but i’ve seen some people say it ends in 2 years
+1 to all the recommendations for Fate Strange/Fake, the animation was really incredible and just such a fun universe. Also think you guys would love love Link Click! Truly everything about it seems right up your alley
I would love a Witch Hat Atelier reaction ! And I agree with McKay, Project Mary Hail is such a good adaptation, and movie. I took tickets to see it again tomorrow
Being a part skipper is the like the greatest possible sin you can commit in the jojo fandom. It doesn’t matter that the universe is technically different part 7 still has so many references and things that u won’t appreciate until you’ve seen the first 6.
Tell Rob I said pspspsss
10:23 Twice set me free mentionned, I won
I’m so happy y’all are interested in The Amazing digital circus, it’s such a good show and I love Pomni so much 😤
Do not skip all of what makes Jojo Jojo and start at 7 lol. Especially not with the F’d release schedule it’s gonna get. Your best option is gonna be to wait until it’s completed anyways
there isn't any point in starting jojo from part 7 for the reasons people already probably described, but also it's not even gonna be weekly, netflix are fucking up release schedule and so it's gonna be a wreck that will worsen your experience even more
Last Kingdom would be fire
Y’all can’t do that to me 😔, please dont skip Jojo’s 1-6 or I will die
Can I request Devilman crybaby or Terror in Resonance? They only have 10 and 11 episode respectively so it can be a quick watch, please 🥹
Terror in Resonance is such a good show
So no double drop of Tangerines? 😭 I really thought after Sherlock we got two episode per week(
The only show once a week 🥀
Please don’t skip jojo parts 1-6 cmon now
Rob🥹🥹 the best guest appearance ever
NOOOO DON'T START JOJO WITH STEEL BALL RUN!!! Although it's technically a reboot, it's really better to start at the beginning for a lot of reasons (references, power systems,...), and Steel Ball Run won't hit nearly as hard for you if you didn't watch the previous parts... Also only the first episode is out and the next won't be out for a while (probably several months), so you can totally start with part one at your own pace and catch up for still ball run soon enough !
I wasnt interested in watching Project Hail Mary but after such an ad I bought the tickets and gonna watch it tonight!!
you are aptly named my friend!!!!
Re:Zero!
Yes!
Don't you think it's good time to watch romance😏 - Fruits Basket - The Dangers in My Heart If you want romance, above two would be good ones. I want you guys to watch below four soon. -Golden Kamuy - Ranking of Kings - Spy Family - Nausicaa
Letting you know! I hope y’all watch Season 1 & 2 of Blue Lock ⚽️ and/or Apothecary Diaries ⛩️, both have a Season 3 later this year so would be amazing to watch with you all live if you catch up. Both have very good manga and would work with 2 episode drops, and I feel like their fan bases are strong! Side note, shout out for the World Cup!
with Frieren ending i would love to see Apothecary Diaries. Maomao is such a great Charakter and the Story is awesome too!
Carter ❤️
Sentenced to be a Hero would be good to fill the void of jjk!
NANDO DEMO!
My show recommendations are: Love is War and Link Click
Link Click would be unexpected. Unexpectedly PEAK.
Beans on toast!
They just have to try it!
yesss watch Witch Hat Atelier! And also second/third everyone saying Apothecary Diaries — I think you guys would loooove it ‼️✨💛🙂↕️ Iruma-kun s4 drops this spring too but you guys would have to watch all 3 previous seasons lmao WHICH YOU SHOULDDDD ACTUALLYYYY 👀👀👀 comedy anime letsgoooo
i would recommend Hell's Paradise ,season two basically just started and its so good :)
it's already ended yesterday😭
👏👏👏
Who is choosing the music ICANT RV's Cosmic lofi?
From is a good show y’all should check it out! Also the hunting of hill house (I know i sound like a broken record but this show is really good and y’all would love it) the walking dead since it came second last time. Finish breaking bad maybe. For movies watch the maze runner or dune after twilight.
You keep fighting for your Haunting show! & yes Dune after Twilight!
Project Hail Mary was amaze amaze amaze!! Fist my bump ✊
FIST MY BUMP 👊
rob 🥺
Would love for you guys to watch Blue lock, but probably should hold off on that until season 3 comes out sometime next year
Hmmm idk the Blue Lock Manga is INSANELY good and I love it so much, one of my top 5 Mangas that i really enjoy but the Animation is just often times sooo bad and bec of it not enjoyable to watch in my opinion....idk if Gek will enjoy it. I would give everything for a Blue Lock Remake though 🙏 but topic Sports Anime: Kuroko's no Basket would be SICK if they watched it 👀🙊
11:45 Witch Hat Atelier is getting hyped as “the next Frieren” from everything I’ve heard, and the manga ratings are really good (8.70). The production looks absolutely wild too — they even got the Dark Souls/Elden Ring composer for the OST, which is actually crazy. Also, Re:Zero Season 4 drops soon (easily the biggest and best anime this spring). Watching three seasons in two weeks is kinda impossible lol, but you guys should still start Re:Zero someday. It’s actually PEAK. Had to give it a shoutout because it really is that good.
Peak Zero!
Y’all should watch Red vs Blue I think y’all would enjoy some silly comedy!
Next gek news should be on a basketball court, so yall can address the washed allegations
Jojo Walking dead Breaking bad Kuroko no basket
Beans!
Cannon wearing a hat is kinda rare ngl only the goat McKay can.
So behind on all the shows only have time for this news. Can’t wait to catch up.
Ohh, did I hear JoJo 👀 I mean yeah, SBR is kind of its own thing, but the best experience is still watching everything in order (Parts 1–6) so you actually catch all the references and get used to JoJo’s vibe and style — you’ll 100% appreciate the journey more and SBR when u are a jojo fan. It really is the best way to experience JoJo. And honestly, SBR is delayed and the schedule is messed up anyway because Netflix is a bum (quality will still be good though, it’s just the schedule that’s ruined), so you’ve got plenty of time to catch up if you guys start JoJo. Part 7 probably won’t finish for another two years since it’s the longest part by a lot. I know Netflix said it’s fine to skip parts, but Netflix also only cares about money — and some fans hate part‑skippers, just a little warning haha. People who say ‘skip parts’ remind me of the people who say ‘skip Skypiea’ in One Piece btw. But anyway, I’m excited for you guys to watch JoJo whenever that day comes :)
peak letter
please watch the Nezha movies!! its not anime but chinese animation, story based off of chinese mythology! both movies, especially movie 2, are insanely good. emotional, cool action, beautiful animation?? i think it’d be a bit different but u guys would love it 😭🙏🙏
Omg agreeeeee 👀 chinese Animation is generally still underrated. Thankfully they got a Sneak Peak with Lord of Mysteries but there is so much more crazy stuff out there 👀🔥🔥🔥
Sentenced to Be a Hero is a must watch! It cooks so hard!! 😤👏
Rob 🐱
im telling yall rn jjk just ended yall need something to fill that void in your heart and im here to protest for fate strange fake for the millionth time, has that same (arguably better) unreal animation and the show is just so hype if yall dont get hooked by the episode 0 prologue of strange fake may me and the rest of this comment section get struck down, PLEASE
The wait after episode 0 dropped for s1 was so tough. I rewatched episode 0 so many times 😂 ugh I love it sm
Would love to see you guys react to Witch Hat Atelier, I'm only two volumes into the manga but the story seems great and the animation from the trailer looks phenomenal! Another new show coming out this spring is called Daemons of the Shadow Realm, I know nothing about this show but it was written by the same mangaka as Full Metal Alchemist.
Also, Apothecary Diaries is great! I'm seeing a lot of comments for this show and just want to pile on.
Someone else said this but I think it’s finally time to start Your Lie In April for the month of April. That would be so perfect and it’s so good, plus it’s great to have more genre diversity :)
Your Peak In April reaction would be so good
Alternate title: Jack getting bullied by Rob
Enhypen - no doubt ? Yes
I love Enhypen sm. Rip Heeseung 💔
very very excited for witch hat atelier !!! the manga is soo magical and the artstyle is incredible. im super excited to see how its adapted into anime. 100% recommend! it gives off frieren vibes in terms of its cozy fantasy world.
My obligatory Psycho-Pass season 1 suggestion. It's written by the same guy who wrote/created Fate Zero so the dialogue is amazing, is anime original, and a very awesome story unlike anything you guys have watched so far on the channel. You can also choose to only watch season 1 which consists of 22 episodes (in fact I recommend only watching the first season) as it is essentially a full complete story and the writer changes after season 1.
100000% agree
i'm still waiting for Re:Zero
mushoku tensei would be a more fun watch
rob looks like my cat only mine is trying to kill me
i think rob’s trying to kill jack too
Jack v.s. Rob: The Saga
Link Click would be awesome😤
I'm with you Kim! Love this show and need to see this added to their channel at some point.
I recommend watching the kdrama “Twenty five twenty one” 📌 It’s one of the best ones released in 2022, and it’s a romcom/slice of life/ sports/ melodrama series (different from what you’ve watched till now)
That kdrama is nearly perfect but the ending lwk fumbled
I’m excited for more kpop groups🔥
Yeess love BTS but it'll be nice to have at least one more group simultaneously!
Another vote for Apothecary diaries next! It's one of my favourite shows of all time and it's a show unlike you have ever seen before in the best way possible :)
Omg they have toooo
so Ouran High School Host Club when?? 🙂↕️🤨🤨
It’s a must
As a person that started watching JoJo's when part 5 was airing, I highly recommend you guys start with part 1. I was told by a friend I could start with part 5 because it doesn't directly follows the other 4 parts, but it was no true at all, there was still a lot of context I missed. I at least knew what the power sysyem was and knew a few other things here and there, but still I don't think that was the best way to experience the show.
Apothecary diaries would be such a good watch.Trust me you will love it
YESSS
aw cute cat
It’s time for Mushoku, Season 3 comes out in July
agreed. Mushoku tensei is peak, yes it has its controversies but writing wise and animation its complete peak
Apothecary Diaries and Sentenced to be a hero
Apothecary diaries!!!!
I'd recommended 'Sentenced to be a Hero' Season 1 just wrapped up. 🔥
Link click's a great show, it's getting a new season this yr too 👀
geks I'm not smart enough, what tier do you have to be to see gek anime and gek pop? Is that juicy orrrrr??? I need a cheat code on tiers lol
they created a new patreon for gek-pop. unfortunately there wasn’t an easy way to incorporate it into this patreon :(
Please watch Fruits Basket! ❤️
am I crazy or is it No Doubt playing in the beginning. I will go to Hail Mary this week, everyone hypes it up
AIN’T NO DOUBT!!! gahhhh, every reminder i get that enhypen is no longer seven breaks my heart😔😔
fate strange fake... it is time pretty please

Did you guys notice the Harry Potter trailer you uploaded on youtube only has audio??
Oh no wtf I gotta go fix that
Rob got the constant airplane ears he's ready for action
BEANS
I need the jojos reactions but pleaaaase do not start with part 7, this part feels more impactful when you’re an actual fan of the show/story imo
As long as Arizona wins, I’ll be in the top ten, but my bracket got cooked because of Houston and Iowa State
Tuesdays and Thursdays looking pretty empty.. How about we get WLGYT twice a week on those days now? 😁
If they don’t add two drops after Sherlocks end it’s prob not happening
these videos are so relaxing to me
Rob resting his foot on Jack and then whacking him in the head when he moved 😭😭
I went and saw Project Hail Mary twice too, honestly one of my favourite movies I have seen in theatres. I was going to insist you guys go watch it and experience in imax! I’m glad you did 👎
rob is so cute🤭
Roooob 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I have to re-start the video because I didn't pay attention to anything else haha
Y'all put me on TADC binged watched it last night
W
trust, you'll want to watch JoJo's in its entirety
I fw the intro for gek news - you guys should do something similar for cinema gek/ studio gek/gek pop!
do NOT watched steel ball run first. its part 7 for a reason, do not listen to anybody who says otherwise. Witch Hat Atelier is gonna be absolute peak. Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a new action show by the author of FMAB and animated by Bones
Just posted almost this same exact comment, for new shows coming out these are two that should be peak!
Im sat at 23rd in March Madness. Pretty solid debut
i think yall should know that the second season of Bloodhounds comes out sometime in April! The trailer is also out 😁
Witch Hat is amazing, one of the most beautifully drawn manga I've ever read.
me not being able to watch project hail mary because I need to read the book first but I don't have time to read the book🧍♀️
Read the book
rob was going all out this video !
Guys its litterally april "your lie in april" would be cinema😭🙏
I think Carter would especially love the piano aspect of it. That and it’s just a great story
Wild long shot, and you may have even watched it before but for webseries have you ever considered watching Red vs. Blue?
Maybe apothecary diaries? U never watch this kind of anime
I agree since Frieren ended
JJK S3 Episode 13 is one of the best animated episodes I’ve ever seen. The whole episode was just peak.
Domain expansion peak overload
Sentence to be a hero or fate/strange fake as replacement for jjk
Fate strang fake would be a really nice watch or if you want to watch something longer Re:Zero would be so goated
“ari wrong?” jack said calmly.
😂😂😂
Please pick a show not random this time
Just here to request Apothecary Diaries to fill Frierens spot 🫶🏻
YESS
Black Clover, Fire Force, Wistoria: wand and sword, Shangri la Frontier and Sentenced to be a Hero are my personal picks for you guys to watch next
BEANS ON TOAST!!!!!!
“absolutely bittersweet, just like beans on toast” was A BAR but CANNON YOU GOTTA TRY IT!!!
I think they lowkey don't want to so they can keep slandering it 😂
question, is there anything from the book you were sad didn’t make it into the movie or something the movie added that you LOVED? for me, i LOVED the earth simulation room addition, it was SUCH A PERFECT addition!! but i was a likkle bit sad that they speed-ran through grace’s slow amnesia recovery (i get why they did it, but the beginning of the book is what hooked me in!!)
Beans
